It was perhaps jealousy that brought this on, though it was hard to tell. Eventually it would have to be brought up. Before they could get any further on the topic Pet returned with the food.

"Pet thinks its called a Crollian long-ship or something like that. Pet likes them with custard!" At Sera's statement of the facts Pet just frowned. "Mistress says Pet needed to drink milk to grow big and strong why would it not work for sister?"

"Thank you June, for understanding. And don't worry, I'll do my best to protect you while we're here," Sera said to June, bowing her head to her companion and making her the promise of protecting her while they were in this city.

"Hmhm, well mostly because June is already fully grown, or well enough that it wouldn't make much of a difference really I think, but you're sweet to do such a thing for her Pet," Sera said with a giggle, praising Pet and petting the catgirl on the head for thinking of June as much as she had been, even though it was likely something June didn't want in any case. "I think what matriarch Jolynn meant though Pet is milk is good for young girls when they're little, that drinking milk then is good and will help you grow," Sera added to Pet, reaching out for the pastry and taking a bite of it to see what it tasted like.

With that, unless Pet or June either one had anything more to speak of at breakfast, Sera would eat up mostly in silence, with her praise of the food being pretty much the only things she said unless spoken to. Once breakfast was done, Sera would head to the bathroom to get cleaned up, fixing the bath up for her and June to wash up from the night before. "Pet can you have our bedsheets changed and everything please while we wash up? We seem to have made a bit of a mess of the sheets. Feel free to bring in some help if you need it though, don't wear yourself out," Sera asked Pet before her and June got into the bath.
