Rose would look sadly at Sara. "You know what my sisters have told you correct? This is the last year of my bloom. Im just so happy I was able to have some many children enter the world." The plant woman would blush and let Sara along her way.

Snuggling with her heavy bellied harem Sera could relax and loose her self at least for a moment in the feel of naked flesh against her skin. Needless to say she was surprised that on this journey she even got a harem of cat girls. It was assuredly a twist. One however that the sisters would probably approve of. Still she didn't rest long before her faithful mini succubus showed up. "Ya know one could get jealous seeing you like this.

"Aw Rose... honey, I'm so sorry. I... they did tell me, yes. I just hadn't brought it up, because I didn't want to make you feel uncomfortable or anything. I'll do my best to make this a wonderful, memorable year for you, one that you'll never forget. And I'm positive that there will be plenty more neko's and others, to spread your seeds to," Sera told Rose, patting her on the head, and hugging her close.

Laying next to the neko's, and June, in the bed, Sera sighed softly and felt just wonderful, and she knew that Lilia and the other succubi sisters, would likely approve of her harem here, and would likely insist on trying them out once a piece. "Oh? How so Ivy?" Sera asked her little mini succubus companion, smirking softly at her.

"Well it could be because I've been busting my butt checking out that evil tower while you enjoy all theses cuddly neko's to yourself." The mini succubus would stick her nose up in the air in false anger an act Sara was by far to knowledgeable about her companion to fall for. Still after a moment Ivy would speak of the tower. Much of what Jolynn had said was true. Magic would be unrealable at best. The first floors seemed to have been cleared besides some large mutated rats and spiders. Easy enough to deal with. The 5th floor however was warded and Ivy could no further up.

"Aw Ivy, I'm sorry honey. I didn't realize you were doing that. And I have been asking Jolynn and some others about that tower some too," Sera said, sticking her tongue out at Ivy, and listening to what she had to say.

When Ivy had told her all that she had to tell about the tower, Sera nodded and looked around at her harem, idly wondering in the meantime what she would need to do in order to make it past those wards that Ivy mentioned. "Hmm... what can you tell me about the wards, Ivy? Anything you can tell me could be helpful," Sera asked Ivy curiously.

Well the seem to ban specific things and their are many of them. The one I ran into specifically banned familiars and the like. There was one that banned men and yet another that banned sub humans, like you cuddle buddies." Ivy moved to rest on June's shoulder as she spoke more. "From what I can tell woman are fine but they have to be all woman no extra. There where a few more but Im not sure exactly. They where too powerful to read."

"Hmm, I see. I guess I'll have to break the barriers that prevent me going in then, if I want to explore beyond them that is," Sera said, tapping her chin thoughtfully, and wondering just what it would take to break through said barriers. "I suppose Jolynn might know more, but I don't want to disturb her right now. For now, let's run through all of the ones you were able to spot, and we'll note them down to ask her about tomorrow, and after that, maybe the two of us can head on up there to explore a bit, see what all there is to find and whatnot. Good work Ivy," she went on to say, patting Ivy on the head, as she cuddled with her harem.

After a few more minutes of cuddling, Sera would get up and check her gear, making sure it was all in order and ready to be used in case she was to head out, and then she checked with the others about dinner, and would really just relax for the remainder of the day, figuring that tomorrow she'd talk to Jolynn about the tower, and then head up there herself.

All was well her gear having been freshly cleaned and repaired, not doubt by one of her attendants. Dinner it seemed would be a simple affair of spaghetti as the manor had yet to really get rolling as far as funds for more lavish meals. As the night closed June joined Sera in her bed seemingly quite aroused. After tending to the woman's need they lay cuddled together till morning.

Gathering her gear she headed for the palace her guards insisting they escort her. Once there she found Urma already waiting the girl seemed to have a flush on her face. She approached Sera walking funny and as soon as she closed the smell of sex wafted to her. "Sorry Sera but that spirit beast approached me last night and I.. I couldn't resist." Urma blushed brightly allowing Sera to take a look at her more closely. Almost immediately Sera could sense that Urma had similar power to Jolynn her mating with the spirit beast transferring some of his essence into the girl. "Not so sure what Im going to tell mother about these though." Removing a headband revealed to cat ears poking up off her head. Behind her a small wiggle of her dress revealed the matching tail hidden still.

Sera didn't mind the simple meal, hoping that she could soon make sure that the girls all had plenty to eat, and whatnot. After that, Sera made sure that June was well satisfied before they went to sleep that night. The following morning, when Sera woke, she collected her cleaned gear and went to the palace. When she got there and saw Urma, Sera was a little surprised to see her up there so early, and went up to her with a smile.

As she approached, and smelled the scent of sex heavily around Urma, Sera knew something was up, but didn't press Urma for information about it, and let her talk first. "Well... it's alright Urma, there's nothing bad about it really, I don't think. But... we'll need to tell Jolynn about it I think. Because she'll need to know, so she can help teach you how to use your newfound powers," Sera told Urma softly, reaching up and petting her on the head, and scratching her ears.

Urma seemed to blush as she walked with Sera. "Oh.. wow.. I can see why the girls are so hung up on you... that smell..." Blushing Urma let it drop as they quickly approached the meeting hall only to be escorted away to private chambers. Inside rested Jolynn her energy quite diminished. "Ahh Sera and Urma.. Im glad that both of you are here. It seems my power is at an end. The spirit beast could wait no longer it seems. It falls to you daughter even though you are not a matriarch." Turning to Sera Jolynn beckoned her over. "Fear not the young ones are still healthy I just don't have the power to stride about like I used to till this is over."

"O-Oh... yeah, I'd forgotten about that," Sera said, remembering that the neko's around here all had a hard time not wanting to jump her, when they weren't pregnant.

As they entered the palace, Sera and Urma were caught by some of the guards, or rather, Urma's sisters, and led to Jolynn's private room. When they arrived, Sera hurried over and took one of Jolynn's hands in her own, looking incredibly worried about the matriarch. After Jolynn spoke, Sera sat down next to her, on the bed, and kissed her on the cheek. "It's alright, Jolynn. I'm sure we'll manage, somehow. Just... rest, and don't exert yourself too much, okay. Also, I planned on going into the tower later today, since my familiar, Ivy, explored it some for me yesterday, and brought me some interesting information about it," Sera told Jolynn, explaining all that Ivy had discovered about the place.

"Maybe I could find something in there to help Urma become a matriarch, o-or something else perhaps," Sera said softly, after she was done explaining all Ivy had found out about the tower.

Jolynn smiled and held Sara's hand. "I must look a sorry state my dear for you to look so worried." She would smile and adjust herself a bit before pulling out a book from behind her pillow and offering it to Urma. "This will teach you all you need to know Urma about your powers." Turning to Sara she spoke. "Maybe there is something in the tower. After all it did belong to a powerful mage at one point. But Sara dear if you go be careful please. The girls will want to see their Maapa." Jolynn placed her hand on her swollen belly and closed her eyes.

"Oh poo, you don't look a sorry state to me, Jolynn. I'm just worried about you, and the children," Sera told Jolynn.

"Don't worry love, I'll be careful. Also, can you and Urma maybe find a way to turn that one angel from stone to flesh again? She was obviously around when that mage you mentioned was in power, else she wouldn't have been turned to stone, I think. She might be able to tell us something about the tower, with any luck," Sera told Jolynn and Urma when the former wished her luck and told her to be careful in the tower.

Sera nodded to them and kissed both on the lips, before heading out to prepare to leave, heading to the manor and collecting her gear, before heading up to the tower, telling June to stay at the manor, and to send word to Jolynn if Sera hadn't sent word back to let them know she was okay within a couple of hours.

June looked concerned but stayed put leaving Sera and a few of her guards who insisted they at least accompany her to the tower to come along. As usual Sera drew a few onlookers but they where managed back by her escorts. Passing the creepy petrified garden Sera soon found herself at the entry to the tower. The building itself didn't seem to ominous besides the black stone that it was worked in and the door that lead in was a simple wooden door you might find on any fortified structure. No arcane runes addressed it, only the iron reinforcements that came with such doors. The air however seemed far to heavy almost as if it wanted to crush you down. Giving instructions to her guards Sera opened the door with ease and stepped into the tower alone.

For the most part Ivy's reports where true the first few floors where pretty much empty of anything of worth having long been picked clean by the brave and desperate. The first signs of trouble came when she reached the fourth floor all the others having been utility rooms and such. Her she was confronted with her first challenge. As she crested the stairs the smell of rotted flesh assaulted her making her nose cringe. The small spiral stair she was on lead to a room with a broken door that still hung its place. Threw the damaged door she could see a hallway with other doors leading off as well as a ruined carpet. From her count the their was three doors on both sides. with another spiral stair at the far end.

Sera didn't tell her guards no, and let some accompany her up to the tower, keeping a close eye out for anything that might bar their way, and told June to stay put for now, giving her a kiss to ease her worries. Sera didn't mind any onlookers staring as they went, letting any who wished to look her way, and gently patting heads and shoulders as she passed, saying little prayers here and there to help inspire the people.

Getting up to the tower, Sera passed by the petrified angel, and sighed softly at the sight of her, hoping to find some way of un-petrifying her soon. After getting the door open, Sera told the others to wait outside for her, but if it seemed too spooky, or they got too worried, to head back home, and send word to Jolynn, and Urma. Heading inside, Sera found the inside of the tower was mostly just how Ivy had described it, and she nodded to her familiar as she ascended the interior of the place.

On the fourth floor, Sera smelled the putrid scent of rotted flesh, and after moving into the long hallway, Sera decided to check the doors on the left first. "Well, Ivy... I guess here's where the fun begins. Might as well check the insides of each room, make sure there's nothing hidden in them, before going up further," Sera whispered to Ivy, reaching for the doorknob of the first door on the left.

The broken door creaked open loudly its hinges long succumbing to the moisture of the jungle. Surprisingly nothing stirred even though the creak of metal clearly echoed out. The first door on the left wouldn't budge and was hopelessly stuck for normal attempts. Brute force could open the door or magic could blast it apart. Still other doors awaited her. The next door opened easily enough and revealed a long abandoned room that was in complete disarray. The bed was messy even before the dust of ages and moths had gotten to it. Books lay scatted in piles while apple cores adorned shelves and the floor. A dresser had its draws open with cloths long moth eaten hanging from them. The next room after that was open to the air its outer wall having been blown out. Its contents lost to the jungle below. "This is where I entered!" Ivy announced. Looking back she still had the three doors on the other side of the room as well as the one that was stuck.

Sera couldn't help but cringe a bit at the loud creaking of the hinges on the door as she pushed it open. Trying the door on the left like she'd thought to do didn't work, as it was stuck. After looking around in the next two rooms on the left, and seeing what they had to offer, which wasn't much, Sera decided to check the ones on the right side before trying to put her shoulder into the stuck door and try to push it open by force. "Hmm... how far up from here, was that magically sealed door, Ivy?" Sera asked her familiar/friend, a curious look in her eyes.

Perception 38 vs 36 success!

"That's the next floor!" Ivy seemed happy to be adventuring again. Moving across the hall Sera opened this door to find it to be another living quarter, though this one was impeccably neat or rather would have been if not for the cobwebs and dust everywhere. Though this looked to have been rather tidy before its abandonment. Still as they moved out the smell of rot made them both gag abit. Hopefully it would pass on the next floor. As she moved on the smell got intense at this door. What ever was rotting was beyond that door....

"M'kay, we'll try heading up there next then. And huh, last bedroom was messy, this one's neat. And ugh... that smell is horrid. Seems to be coming from behind the stuck door too I think. Might as well open it up and try to get rid of it if we can," Sera said, gagging a little, but keeping herself from vomiting, though she knew that if they either didn't get away soon, or get rid of the smell somehow, she would likely do so.

With that thought in mind, Sera made an effort to slam her shoulder into the stuck door to try and open it, though if that didn't work, she'd prepare herself, while asking Ivy to blast it open for them, in case something was behind it, so she could then blast it.

Plant attacks Sera 65 vs 57 hit! 22 damage! plant gains 0 hp due to full health

Sera: HP = 45/77, PP = 74, EP = 127, Status = Fine

Putting effort into the door easily burst it open. Smashing the door against the frame on the wall. However this had an almost immediate effect of a large red flowered plant to lash out at Sera easily cutting her skin and drawing blood which the vine seemed to soak up into its self shifting its green hue to more of reddish purple. Drawing back Sera got a look at the ruined room. Numerous desiccated bodies of birds and other small creatures littered the ground. Most were little more than taunt skin on bone but the smell of death and rot still lingered almost intensifying sense the door was open. It looked like this place had been a bed room similar to the others but was no a lair of the plant monster.

Slamming her shoulder into the door, it burst open, and Sera tumbled through. Sera gasped as the large red flower lashed out and slashed across her waist with its vine, and she recoiled from the pain. "O-Ouch... stupid thing," Sera mumbled under her breath as she backed away from the plant, to look around the room.

As she looked around the room, Sera healed herself to seal her wound, and saw the numerous dead birds and whatnot in there, likely having been drained of their blood by the plant here. She wanted to explore the room some, but knew that she needed to get rid of the plant first, and so she decided to freeze it with one of her powers. "I'm sorry for this, but I can't have you hurting me like you did these poor creatures," Sera said under her breath to the plant, before raising her hand and hurling out her Rimewind Blast.

Use Lay on Hands for 5 EP, as a move action, which should heal 20 HP. Then use Rimewind Blast as a primary action, in a line directly at the plant for 7 EP, (3d4 - 1) *7.
