Those having trouble with lack of control in the menu should check if they have an xbox pad hooked up as it uses that as the primary device.
Does anyone know how to make the game go full screen?

The only USB devices in my computer are my mouse, my keyboard (uses 2 usb slots) and mobile internet thingy.

it's a great game.
short and neat. is there a way to full screen.
kind of lost at start but it easy later once U know their attacks.
for me I go for both light sword and bow. not to sure the rest of combos
hit 3 time with sword and then down arrow. Repeat again at least get 10 hit combos

I can't interact with my game either. It happens to me in HOTB as well. I even downloaded joy2key and hooked up a controller. But, that wasn't it. Messed around with locale and compatibility settings and got nothing. I'm confused as to why it's not accepting any of my inputs. I'm running Win 7.

The update added a fullscreen mode and a zoom function for game over scenes.
F12 to toggle fullscreen and arrow keys up and down to zoom in and out.

Look at the bottom right 4 buttons, if there's text below the bottom most button (3 if you can see it) then you can exit.

This is a neat little game.
It'd be so much neater if the rape was integrated to the gameplay (or if at least there wasn't this whole fade-to-black -> change of interface thing) and some more variety in enemy+boss sprites.

Is it just me, or is anyone else having real difficulties downloading from this link? Can't seem to get past 14% or so, and it's really slow.

I really like the differences between the weapons, it's a nice small touch that adds a lot. Coulda made it so you had to unlock them or something but it's alright anyways. I like how it's mostly preference, the only one I felt was kind of underpowered in comparison was the M sword, everything else has a purpose.
S Bow - Rapid fire, weak special that stuns briefly with small aoe.
M Bow - Average RoF, probably the best special as it double hits and stuns for quite a while, easy to chain.
L Bow - Slow RoF, aoe has a greater range than M Bow and it double hits as well. Comparable to the M Bow in use but the stun is shorter since it doesn't knock up as well.
S Sword - Very short reach, difficult to connect with enemies with the basic attack. The special let's you dash through enemies quickly so it's good for escaping to use ranged, and can be spammed with decent stamina as a pretty cheap way to kill with little to no risk (At least until later
)
M Sword - Good balance of speed and reach but the knock up special really isn't too helpful. The enemies you knock up drop back down close enough to you so you can be struck by them almost instantly.
L Sword - Slow but the reach makes up for it, easy to hit multiple enemies, the special knocks back and makes up for the slow attack speed.

Really fun game, since I'm a fan of challenging games I kinda want this game to take more tabs from the Souls series like:
- You can't cancel any of your attacks with your guard
- Guarding attacks should use stamina
- Replace the shove (Guard + ForwardForward) with a roll instead, change Guard + Attack with the shove
- Stronger enemies shouldn't have superduper armor, just let them eat a number of hits until they actually flinch (like the Souls series' Poise mechanic)
- Option to change the controls
That's all I can think of, if the game had these suggestions the game (for me at least) could be a load of challenging fun.

I'm glad I came back to this game, it has a lot more to it than I thought. The way you can shove enemies from guards and the way defense will prevent you from getting stun locked (Attack raising can allow you to stun enemies too). The map keeps expanding as well. Much better than I initially thought.
Figured I'd give this a boost for people who haven't seen it, pretty fun game. Once you get used to the controls, it's nice. I don't know what it is with Japanese devs and control schemes, but geez. Although the AI for the orcs keeps improving, woulda been nice to see some appearance changes/variety in that sense though.
Either way, DLsite needs more games like this and less rpg maker games It's worth a check out if you like action rpg/fighters.

I have this game but I can't play it at all. The main menu works fine but once I enter the game all I see is the map and no indication of what I'm doing. My only options by trial an error is to skip(?) a day, title screen, equipment and general save/load menu, or go into the level but even once it loads up I just fall over and die, before moving onto the GOR and eventually Game Over.
I literally cannot do anything other than that.

I had this same problem, and I think I managed to fix it by downloading the demo and using the exe from that in the folder for the full game.
Give that a try and see what happens, hopefully I am remembering correctly.
