Hello! Thanks for stopping by!
For the last few days I have been working on the following game:

色仕掛けに耐えるRPG ラブパラダイス
(An RPG where you fight temptation: Love Paradise)
RJ245070_img_main.jpg
Links:
Main themes/situations: seduction

An angel appears before the main character in, what he thinks to be, a dream. She tells him The Great Master despairs at how unfaithful humans are, despite swearing vows of loyalty to the ones they love.

And that HE was humanity's final hope.

He needs to get through a horde of women in order to reach the girl he loves so that he may confess his feelings to her, or else humanity will perish.

It's rather short and easy to play through (don't expect any kind of storyline... at all), but it features a good variety of girls with artwork very similar to other games I have translated. The protagonist can be named and remains silent during H-scenes, but has some generic lines during story-related scenes.

It's quite rare for games like this to show up, and ones like this DEFINITELY need a translation.

The developer will not be releasing it on DLsite International, for reasons outlined below, so it will only be available on the Japanese DLsite.

I have previously translated the demo for this developer's upcoming game also, and will likely be translating it on release (assuming another game doesn't have my attention).

You can also check out my other translations over on my site:

Or contact me on Twitter or Reddit:

If you do get the game, please consider leaving a review on DLsite so that others know the game has been translated.
I have translated another game previously but the top review on the product page is an old review saying the game needed a translation which... may be misleading for others.
Thank you for your cooperation!

Thanks again for checking out my thread, and supporting this great developer!

Quick update: The developer is hesitant to release the game on DLsite English/International as it features an angel, and wants to avoid any kind of religion-related issues. I've told them that really wasn't an issue nowadays, so hopefully they'll get back to me with some good news later.

Thank you for the translation! I bought the game on the JP dlsite purely because of the English patch. I hope that one day you also translate the full version of Bewitched when it comes out

Thread locked due to lack of translation download. PM a mod with a link to the translation to get this thread unlocked.

OP updated, thread unlocked. Please note that the actual game is already released; this thread is about the localization of the game, and so will be in the GUC section until the official translation is released, as the author is looking for feedback on his translation.

I'll underline that the Angel isn't an angel; she's clearly depicted as a Cupid.
Cupids originate from Greek mythology and have absolutely no relation to Cherubims and modern religions, Christianity included.
-> Game is as safe for western markets as Saint Seya is (edit: as far as religion is concerned)

I suggest creating a proper, separate thread for the game, since ULMF doesn't have one. A thread exists if you want to create one but are unsure you can make a proper one.
That was a cute, short game, which could use its thread to showcase and promote both the game itself and your work once it's done.

At the start of the game she refers to herself as an angel of sorts, so I'm guessing that she was designed as some kind of angel-like character.
Unfortunately, I'm not really in much of a position to make demands of a developer, so there's not too much I can do other than advise them to upload onto DLsite International.

Considering I've already translated two H-scenes from their next game (via the demo on DLsite) there's a pretty good chance I'll be translating their next game, too. Hopefully we won't
run into the same problem with that one.

Quick update: I apparently missed a line after the bully/poser girl battle, so I have sent an updated patch with that line translated over to the developer (which has now been uploaded).
My apologies for any inconvenience, but if you would like to have that line translated, please consider re-downloading the game from DLsite.

I don't think anyone's suggesting you make demands, just that it might make sense to let him know that the people who would care that there's an angel in a porn game wouldn't be buying it anyway since it's a porn game.

Perhaps "demands" was too strong a word, but there isn't much I can do.
I did inform the developer religion isn't too much of a factor in the west, especially when it comes to porn, but it doesn't seem to have registered.

Though considering how many people have brought this up, I will try one more time to convince them to put it onto DLsite International.

Edit/update:The developer had uploaded it onto DLsite International when it had first released, but then deleted it (which they regret doing) due to the religious reasons outlined above.
Unfortunately, they are not able to upload it again due to DLsite only allowing games to be uploaded once. However, they've stated their next title (Bewitched!) will be uploaded and kept on DLsite International.

This is confusing, at first I thought your translation was not going to be used, but apparently it was added to the JP version so cool, you might actually want to mention that.

What about the ones the devs received and it is to be uploaded, any ETA on those? How long has it been like that? Its hard to know since there are no dates.

They might be able to ask for it to be undeleted. and an English version could use a different number...
I believe the developer has tried asking DLsite about it, but they haven't had any luck.
If DLsite is anything like other distribution sites, there's also a chance the developer could have their account/circle banned if they try to circumvent the rules, too, so...

My apologies for the confusion. I had assumed the game (+translation) could be added to DLsite International, however, it wasn't possible in the end.

The ones awaiting upload (I assume you are referring to the Dry Dream games) are still in the developer's hands.
Earlier this week, I translated the most recent update and handed it off to them the next day, so it's just a matter of waiting for release.
I did ask the developer about it when I handed off the translation but, unfortunately, I've not been given an ETA either.
They're working on three or four projects simultaneously, so it may be some time yet.
My apologies, again, for the delay.

No biggie, I am still very appreciative of someone translating them , thanks man :)
You should try to work with DLsite, I bet they have a huge backlog of requested games and hell earning some well deserved money doesn't hurt either.

Not at all, thank you for checking out my thread!

I was considering working, freelance, with DLsite at one point but the terms just seemed... soul-destroying.
If I recall correctly, it was about 1 JPY per character (or kanji, I can't remember), plus I don't think I'd be able to choose which games I translate.
For example, I don't think this game would have ever been officially translated by DLsite but, because I don't have to work from a list, I can choose to translate games like this one.

I've actually been trying to translate the credit/staff roll (from when you click on the red orb in the replay room at the end), just so I can say it's 100% translated, but I'm not having much luck due to the bug that makes them almost impossible to view.
Probably going to just leave it and continue working on Dry Dream's second game (the succubus trap dungeon one).
