Ty, that was exactly what I was wondering about.



The translation was included in the cmi? In summary, should i also update cmi? I think my game installation is not older than 3 or 4 months. What i really want is to try to always have the lastest translation available. Ty for you work btw
Normally it's best to have latest CMI build because plugins can become buggy or not work at all after months of game updates. With standard COM it's less likely to happen but you should still get the latest for bug fixes and speed improvements.
CMI only provides basic google translate via XUnityAutotranslate.
The translation module can be downloaded and installed from the master guide in op. It contain all the official translation from the eng version up to date and the rest is pre-translated with sugoi translator v4.0. Merging and curating the scripts is done using .
If you update CMI it will wipe all plugins, including the ones that you manually installed and translation. They are moved to a backup folder. So any modifications to the plugin setup should be done after updating CMI. You can restore parts of the backup if you know what you are doing and why. Otherwise delete it. You don't want to stack millions of old translation script files in there.
 
I download torrent vanilla repack and install CMI but my COM3D2 it runs normally but I don't have a console and the game runs like no CMI,not translation not uncensor?
I have admin of the folder and try to run as admin but the same.
I missed something?

the log file seems to indicate that the game is indeed loading without plugins.
DM me a screenshot of your game folder.
 
Dumb question, there is a way to port the translation system to another game? I have one thats also had the BepInEx folder but doesnt work when i try to change the EndPoint in the config file.

The only thing that looks off is the install location. Drive B:\ is very uncommon. Someone had issues runing the game with console because they didn't have ownership over the drive and it couldn't write the config files. Whatever this is it looks like permissions issue.

At the beginning I thought so too but I have given all permissions of both folder and drive but the plugin still doesn't seem to be running.
I also tried changing the game folder to another drive.

You should consider asking on . Someone might have a better understanding of what the preloader log is trying to say and what is preventing BepInEx from initializing.

I just tested with the ENG version and it seems that the CMI is working properly.
Anyway, thank you for support.

There's no reason why CMI in jap version wouldn't work if it does work in eng. When updated to latest version they are both the same.
I advised you to ask on discord for a solution because someone else might have the same issue with no resolve. I would have tried reinstalling the latest update with the option to overwrite same file version. It's unlikely but some game fies could be damaged.

It worked for the Jap version when I reduced the CMI version and the COM3D2 version.
I don't know why, but I'll probably leave it as it is for the time being.

- We may as well discuss presets, mods and requests.
- If you are sharing a preset please also save it as .png file (hold CTRL when saving) so we have a preview without needing a screenshot. You can also attach the ".preset" and "preset.expreset.xml" files in a zip so we can inspect the preset with SybarisArcEditor in case you used other mods.

- When you post an issue please give as much details as possible in a single message (a screenshot, console with red error messages, full log from COM3D2x64_Data\output_log.txt).

Update 2.29.1 is safe. Use latest CMI.
Update 1.57~1.63 and 3.x.x (aka COM 3D2.5):

Only update if you want to link CR Edit System (CRES) or Kiss Charecter Edit System (KCES) to COM3D2 and make COM3D2.5 in order to use the new maid/master edit system. Keep in mind that CMI support for this update is somewhat limited and some plugins are disabled with no plans for future support. Most plugin development is based on 2.x.x. CRES/KCES is not worth bothering with because of the poor integration with COM and lack of mod support, making it basically useless. It's just a tech demo for a possible upcoming game and a waste of storage. You can still use CRES/KCES as a standalone "game" if you want to try it. It is a separate app after all. I honestly don't even know anymore what's the correct procedure to upgrade to COM3D2.5. There used to be an official migration tool that made a copy of the existing COM3D2 and upgraded it to COM3D2.5 while downgrading the original to ver 1.55 which was right before the whole fiasco started (long story). Be warned that it will copy everything, including mods! There was another method posted on CM discord that let you keep both COM3D2 and COM3D2.5 way more efficiently by having COM3D2.5 with only the difference of files while using some kind of symlink pointing to the system folders of the original COM3D2. Anyway, official info, if it makes any sense to you, can be found .

Hey, I have a dumb question, I uncompressed the Mod folder and it has stuff like _acc _bottom _chara _head etc, but it has another Mod folder within itself, with folders like _head, _men _other, is this the proper order or should I copy the content from the inner mod folder to the outer one? (_head seems to be the only folder in both mod folders)

This is what I mean btw:

I don't know what you did to end up with a Mod folder within the Mod folder. Even worse if you say that it contains duplicates
 
The duplicate is just the _head folder, and nothing inside it was duplicated, they had different heads inside (?, im not too sure I did anything wrong, Ive been using pcs for decades (hell i am a computer engineer lmao) and copy pasting this stuff and moving it around seems basic, I was just wondering if this was intended or not, for the time being I moved everything outside of the inner one and seems to be working.

I suspect that you didn't extract it correctly. Winrar and other crappy archivers can't handle split .7z archives correctly and will corrupt the content. You need 7zip for that.
This is what the archive contains. Compare with what you have and you'll see that the extraction failed.

i wanna download the 3d2 version as I'm currently using 2.5, is it possible to use my save files? last time I tried the game said I have a 2.5 save file,is there maybe a save file transfer tool somewhere? if not, I'll just download the mods

No such tool exists.
 
I keep seeing people mentioning something called "CR Edit", what is that? The new high-poly body demo? If so, is there any way to download it?

Also... the game threw an error relate to yotogi class at me right after I finished the download, and it wouldn't start. Can it be that I installed an official patch before I even touch the game? (I did make sure to run the batch file to set install directory, though.)

Another thing is, even though I've run the BAT file already, the update installer still couldn't tell where I installed the game; I've played it a few years ago on my old rig, can't remember exactly but their update installer seems to be doing that all the time.

***EDIT***

Never mind, rehashed the torrent, switched my PC's country to Japan in settings, rebooted, moved the install folder and ran the installation BAT file again. It still throws this same error at me:

Okay never mind again!! Jeebus, all I have to do is go to CONTROL PANEL to set my LOCALE to Japanese, SETTING LOCATION TO JAPAN IN WIN10 DASHBOARD IS NOT WHAT YOU WANT TO DO.
