I have a question of curiosity to anyone?

Does anyone else have an issue with the Ai Kiss Cafe 1 Collab map?

every time I load it up from the schedule some reason it's a black screen it will still play out but the Map it's self will not show.

what DLC is it I'd be needing to download to try and fix the Ai Kiss Cafe 1 Collab map?

there's an Ai Kiss cafe 2 Collab Map as well and it loads up just fine. It's just the first one that's doing like in the picture and I can't find the DLC to maybe fix it....

Going to install the latest up to date version with all DLC to see if it gives the same results....

Finally! thank you inlolzwetrust I had honestly been with this issue for months and could never figure out why.

doing the little check box on that DLC since it was already downloaded worked I finally have the BG for that DLC again

Overwriting from the installer is a bit dangerous because it can downgrade some arc files.
What you should have done is reinstall the dlc normally to add update.lst entries in case they are missing. On my build for some reason a few arcs where marked as not installed but the files where present in GameData. Probably a update.lst issue at some point.
After that you could just manually copy the files that had dlc305 in the name. Everything else (csv.arc) can cause issues if downgrading. To fix the unintentional old files overwrite you should update the game.

This is a very uncommon error
You could try disabling your antivirus
Or running it from another, shorter path
Run as administrator
Are you extracting the zip or running the updater from the zip. You should extract it.
If everything fails you could copy and replace the updater exe with one from another dlc that worked for you.

Thank you for your suggestions! I have tried some (not all) to no avail, and postponed it. Today I updated the game version from 2.42.1 to 2.44.0 and the problem disappeared - both old and newer DLCs installed without issues. I thought this info could be useful to you.

The only ones that still can't be installed now are the Extras / "DLC Freebies" from a list in the guide. For some reason the Apply button is inactive for all of them. In the path settings it says it can't find the install information. What does this mean?

One more question, if I may. The game is massive and the files on my SSD are now fighting for their lives.
After I installed the updates and DLCs, are there folders that I can delete? Specifically:

1. After I made the original install of the base game, I made a separate folder for the updates and DLCs, where I dumped them from the 7z archives. From this folder I succesfully ran the update exe's. Do I have to keep this folder intact, or were the updates/DLCs actully installed to the base game folder, meaning I can delete this update+DLC folder?
2. If for some reason I can't delete this folder completely, can I delete parts of the DLC subfolders? Many of the DLCs consist of subfolders like "cm3d2...", "com3d2...", "com3d2.5...", "creplg..." and so on. I only installed the DLCs for COM3D2. I have CM3D2 for linking purposes only and don't have COM3D2.5 or other versions.
3. Similar question about the update folders from the official website. Since I updated to 2.44.0, can I delete the folder with the 2.42.1 update data?

1. After you successfully installed a dlc you can delete the installer package.
2. By the sound of it you only needed the com3d2 parts. Everything else you can ignore. There's no point in updating CM3D2 components if you already installed the same dlc for COM3D2. If you had COM3D2.5 + KCES you could install the other stuff.
3. There is no point in keeping old update data if you already installed it.

I don't see how the game version has any impact on what dlc you can install. DLC might require a certain minimum game version to actually work but that won't prevent you from installing them regardless.
Some dlc installers are a bit broken for non japanese localization. In order to install them you should manually specify your COM3D2 game install path. Just browse for the folder where COM3D2.exe is located and the installers should work fine.

I know what lcl and gp003 and cw003en is but the personalom013 and personality_030_solo one I can't seem to find any info on.

cw003en can be found in eng version. No idea what it is but it only has csv, script and voice arc.
cm3d2_personality_030_solo? not a single clue. The name is odd to begin with. It doesn't match the personality naming scheme. I can't find anything remotely similar in CM, COM or eng COM. The solo part indicates that it doesn't rely on CM link but there is no 030 personality. Perhaps a mistype? I don't have a complete CM collection to check further. I haven't updated it since before the 2020 repack maybe.

it's been driving me a little crazy to see those and not having much of a clue what those two in particular are.

strange about Gyaru as I have her full DLC installed she runs as she should so yeah something is strange with Bepin if it's making a false report as if I don't have her or something...

as for cw003en yeah that the valentines day DLC for where the compatible maids will come to your office in a little cutscene and give you a valentines day gift around February including Ema.
I was aware of that one. I also know how to get the English subs for it to work just put the ks files of the eng version in the mod folder and the sub box should appear like it does on the English release

and yeah maybe it's a mistype with that personality solo then as I have all the personality's installed so nothing in that area should be missing unlike what Bepin is trying to claim....

I updated the translation pack btw. For both normal COM3D2 and COM3D2.5
