I do have CM3D2 installed, the game works perfectly fine. Probably because i accidentally installed the latest DLC to the CM3D2 because after that, the red message and popup appear. How can i disable the COM-CM link? i rarely play CM3D2 anyway.

Though, i remembered i tried the new ' Maidloader' instead of 'Modloader' i did everything it said to do, and MaidLoader simply did not load my game. I switched back to ModLoader, and maybe that somehow bugged my game? Source for first error was:

I haven't tried Maidloader yet but from what I heard it should work fine. Of course you have to remove modloader first.
Was CategoryUnlocker the plugin that enabled invalid categories for certain mods? I think the general consensus was to not use it. Ever.

If you have CM3D2 you're better off fixing the link by specifying the correct path

For me maidloader gets stuck on the first load of BepinEx, resulting in infinite loading. No idea what's that about, i even changed some of the settings, same thing happened.

Has for CategoryUnlocker, i had no problems with it on original cm3d2. I believe it would break your saves if you removed it from plugins, but don't remember having any other issue. I don't have it in com3d2 plugins, though. It's just the part of the mods for it, that i have. I guess the reason you don't know some of these mods is because they were for cm3d2, around like 30 gbs? or more, i'm not sure.

Funny enough, the bug seems to go away after unchecking 'read only' on the entire folder. However, the odd thing is, it seems like i have to do it every-time i reboot my pc. Didn't happen before new update, so it's very bizarre stuff. Maybe the update broke some plugin configuration, causing it to bug something?
 
Question, can you still access all the ntr scenes and whatnot for free maids? Can free maids even be lovers? Not sure what locks out what, and i see some events are exclusive to the very first of the three base types, so I'm not sure if i can see all the content with each of them.

For all I know the only difference between free and private maids is that the private maids ntr is meant to make the master suffer while free maids ntr is just work for them, even if they enjoy it, but they won't betray master
 
How much time could it take to load the full mod pack when creating the maids?
PC runs perfectly fine with max graphics and everything on vanilla but i add up mods and the maid section i find an unending loading screen... can see the logo on the lower right showing that is loading but it looks choppy. Don't know if it means anything or simply i have to tone down the amount of mods😂

Fiest time it takes a bit longer when ShortMenuLoader plugin builds the cache. If you keep adding or removing mods the cache must be rebuilt every time.
Normally it says in the console how much it took to load mods. A couple of minutes normally.
If you click inside the console it will pause and the game will appear to be loading forever. Hit space or enter to resume.
 
I updated the translation pack if anyone cares. It almost took a whole day for Sugoi Translator to process 2 months' worth of new dlc dialog.
Official translation was also updated. It's only missing GP02 for Bookworm since I don't have it yet. Sugoi translation is probably better anyway.
 
Maybe someone else run into this but there are certain elements(usually mods) while creating a maid and select a hair or set of outfits causes the game to soft lock... Where the game keeps running but once you selected the modded item the game wont allow you to go back to other maid settings or even give the OK to create the maid
Does somebody know how to fix it?

If you use everything provided in the guide and the standard modpack you shouldn't have any issues if you followed instructions correctly.
If you mess around and install whatever mods that require other mods and so on then you can expect some issue if you don't read their readmes and meet the requirement. Same if you delete parts of the modpack or remove the CM link. There's no telling what dependencies you will break without further analysis.
You must make sure that you have COM linked to CM and have all the dlc costumes. Basically just take that 2022 repack and only update COM with the missing dlc. Don't need to touch CM dlc unless you really want to.
Even with missing assets the game shouldn't crash or freeze. There is a default CMI plugin that prevents that from happening. It's called ExtendedErrorHandling plugin. Without it the game would crash to desktop whenever you're missing a model.

Changes how maids are sorted in the character management menu.

Sort order is as follows:
Head Maid > Married > Original (COM) > Transfers (CM) > Unique > Extra.
When maid types are equal, sort order is:
Contract Type (Personal > Free > Trainee) > Maid’s Surname > Maid’s First Name.

It's a script. You can install just the script in an empty folder and then move it to scripts folder if you don't want to reinstall everything.
Or you can select "I want nothing", select just the script, deselect all cleaning options in CMI, install as usual.

There's another plugin for manual sorting but I have no idea if it (still) works and what compatibility issues it introduces. Try that script first.
 
Many thanks for the links and the comprehensive guide, I would've been utterly lost without them. I'm really interested in seeing the Kuudere personality from CM3D2 appear in COM3D2 and I did all the necessary steps to link the two games, but the guide says I need to finish the tutorial of all three maids in CM3D2 first. Could you elaborate on what that means exactly?

Basically hire/meet the main trio in a CM gameplay and that's all. I haven't played CM so I can't tell you exactly what the steps are. All I can remember is that when starting a new COM game and CM was linked I had to ansewer if the master is the same as the one from CM. You can hire any personality you want without the need to play it on CM first
 
Hi, I have messages about refused access, do you know how I can fix it?
The first one is when I open the launcher and the second one when I close it.

Perhaps you don't have admin privilege over that drive. Try to right click on the launcher and run as administrator.
Also right click on the game folder, properties, uncheck read only, apply to files and subfolders. This step shouldn't be needed if you successfully installed CMI.

Unchecking the read only worked, ty . I was trying to link cm3d2 and com3d2 and had not installed CMI at this stage.
 
Hello, I've tried to be as thorough as possible when reading through your installation guide of the COM3D2 repack, and I'm not sure that I've missed any crucial details. I've been trying to install some DLC, but am consistently met with the localhost : refused to connect error. I am assuming this is a problem with me rather than the game itself, but was wondering if any fix is available? Thanks
