I'm not sure if the linked hairs are of higher polygon or have more bones in them but they don't look as good as KCES hairs if you focus on them. I think some of them may have better physics but I can't confirm that. besides that you can use gradient on them which doesn't mean much besides higher resolution textures. Some of the hairs also have sliders for length that the base game doesn't have but I do remember those hairs had sliders with mods when I had COM3D2.I can only assume that they are not using some sort of autoconverter but instead have to reprogram the bone data for each individual hair. I'm not even sure if I used the correct technical terms/ Does KCES do anything fancy with hairs? Like completely groundbreaking new physics and collisions?
So I can't be completely sure but I believe only the texture resolution is really changed on these. Changing bones on so many hairs is a nightmare, I just can't accept kiss would be so generous. and hells, the CM3D2 hairs still have bad physics and texture in KCES
