I want to ask every time I try the karaoke rotor it always errors and blank black, and I don't know which part of the file is damaged I tried re-downloading the dlc and reinstalling it but the result is still the same is there a solution?

I very much doubt that AlwaysColorChangeEx plugin is responsible for whatever is happening on your end.
The logical steps to follow are in this order
1. update the game to latest 2.47.1.
2. if that didn't fix it then try to run the game without mods. If you simply rename winhttp.dll to _winhttp.dll it will disable all plugins.
If disabling mods doesn't fix it then nothing will until someone reports it and kiss acknowledges the issue and fixes it on their end.
Maybe if you tell me the exact steps you are doing I could reproduce and confirm the bug on my end. I've seen a report for rotor karaoke on jp version on 2.47.1 and 2.47.0

I think I know the problem now, I updated it to version 2.39 after I read this version has a lot of problems is there a solution to go back to the previous version

what do you mean you updated to 2.39? you have the 2024 torrent which already was on 2.39.2
If you want to get new dlc running you need newest update. Simple as. Latest is 2.47.1.
There is no way to safely downgrade updates.
If you keep seeding the torrent it will accidentally undo any changes you made every time it performs a hash check. So it will revert to 2.39.2 every time.

Unless you fucked up the whole game by extracting an update directly in the game folder it means the game doesn't have write permissions in that folder likely because it is read only. Go to COM3D2 folder properties and uncheck read only then apply to files and subfolders.
You might also need to take ownership over the C: drive.
Run as administrator.
C: is not the best place to install because it has restrictions if you don't have full admin privileges.

it was the same problem on D.. I will run it as u said tomorrow thank you for your advice.

Hi, does anyone have a guide on how to upgrade from COM3D2 to COM3D2.5? I already have the files needed for the upgrade, but I’m not sure how to actually do it. If someone could explain it or share a guide, that’d be great.

Looks like an atlas issue. It's like that on my end too. It's something they must have changed in the new version
For now you can try removing COM3D2\i18nEx\English\Textures\AtlasSceneDaily.png until I investigate further. They likely changed this file and the translation pack overrides it.
I should have tested the translation pack before updating it.

They rearranged the buttons.

I'm reuploading the translation pack now to include the fix.

Hi, I have been reckless enough to install the 2.47.2 update without confirmation that it's safe yet. Could that be the reason for this bug? On Home Screen, the white backgrounds for most buttons disappeared. They're still clickable. The rest of UI seems fine.

I've just updated from 2.47.0 to 2.47.2 and added the last 2 months worth of DLCs. I didn't update the mods/plugins. Any way to fix this / reverse the change?

They changed the atlas in the previous update. Just remove i18nEx\English\TexturesAtlasSceneDaily.png or update the translation pack.
 
Hello. One question , if i download the latest repack , will i be able to install the 2.5 and Maid Cafe addons ??

Latest is not exactly new... And you don't have an alternative unless someone uploads a new repack.
The eng version actually has a much newer repack compared to what's available for jap version right now. I'm breaking my own rule talking about eng version here but you should probably head over to f95 for

You need a lot of time and storage to migrate and reinstall all the 2.5 dlc. There are no 2.5 repacks. The ones that do exist are probably dead by now and are years old. Not worth bothering with them. I could technically build a new 2.5 repack but I'm very short on storage. I already have both full eng and jap COM3D2 installed plus KCES and a big ass modpack. I was planning on building 2.5+KCES on the eng version but there's no way I could also do it for jap version unless I ditch 2.0 all together.

Thanks for your answer , guess i'll have to settle with eng then. Was hoping it was easier to install 2.5 and the Empire Maid Cafe expansion , like just droping files into the game folder or just running an installer.

It is easy. You just run some installers and setup the COM-KCES link. But the 2.5 migration process implies duplicating the already huge COM3D2 folder and upgrading one of them. That's how the 2.5 installer works. So if your normal COM folder is 250GB in size then you need at least another 250GB for the "upgrade" plus another 20GB for the full KCES. Plus enough space to manually download and install individual 2.5 dlc.
