ok indeed i ask help now over an insane quantity of trouble but i managed to defeat ALL tree enemies and saved the village but after that i am completely stuck again no new access to other parts and king same as fat guy not give anything new info. already spoke to every npc i can remember day n night
but still cant access anything new

any help on what to do now?

After the tree enemy, click the carriages where the 2 horses and cow are iirc.
Don't click the animals, click the actual carriage behind one of them. It could also have something to do with the criminal town as well but idr since I was messing around in both areas after that fight.

Haven't managed to play THAT far yet. But I'm guessing it's probably a skill. One of the female knights you can add to your group has a fire-skill. Maybe it's super effective? I'll give it a try myself soon. (Just finished DLing it and didn't play much yet).
