I think one of his blog posts says he'd think about releasing another demo. If he at LEAST manages that much within the next week, then I'll keep holding my breath.

New blog update today. It seems like there are several bugs still in the game, especially in regards to the status screen; hence, the game is delayed yet again. No surprise there lol. I'm a little concerned that there is no timetable for the release of the game now, but maybe that's a good thing.

The major problem is that this guy appears not to be a programmer in any sense of the word. Hence, if you disect the demo, you'll see that he's done something which gives a very good impression of a complex system without actually implementing said complex system. So this 'bugfixing' is part to do with actual bug fixing and part to do with implementing the system as advertised in the demo.

I wish I knew Japanese. I'd tell him not to worry about whatever system he's trying to implement -- if the scenes themselves are good, then they'll carry the game better than trying to fix what was never broken.
Seriously, if the rest of the game is as good to me as the demo was, then I couldn't care less about what the status screen says between fights.

It's not just the status screen, although that is the thing that needed the most work when I did a quick scan through. I suspect that in addition, the dev has also got to go through and make sure all the flags/story status variables are being set correctly, which given the number he seemed to have previously, could take a while.

Due to the fact that it is a hentai game, scenes/animations should have first priority. Game mechanics and controls is a second.

Each to their own. Personally, I like to have some consequence etc in the hentai department, and I'd speculate that this is what is being implemented at the moment. I'm actually quite interested in the game system etc. because frankly, I don't find the art to be particularly good in this game (or at least not when compared to some other games).

Judging that it's almost 2015 and that something was promised to ship in September, I'd say this game is kind of dead.

I believe it's not entirely dead.
The last update in the author's blog was about 2014/11 which is November.
So it's sure would be late but this game would still be release.
The problem is that no one know when it will, even the author.
