As Kylie sat there looking around, she did spot a new kind of mushroom that she'd never seen before herself, growing at the base of a nearby tree. Other than that, she did find a handful of blueberry bushes nearby too, and a rather strange looking plant that resembled a cross between a rose, and a tulip, that was a bit bigger than your average of either. While she inspected the new things she saw, she noticed that Sheena's pregnancy from the seedlings had progressed a decent amount, and she was showing, but not so much that she couldn't move.

There were some very pretty flowers about, and Kylie collected the mushroom out of curiosity. She wanted to know what it all did. Some mushrooms were great with steak, others had you trippin balls, even more caused Death and made great poisons.

Either way she was happy to put it in her bag. As for Sheena, she'd only gotten half a dozen small seeds. Either they were getting big, or the plants themselves did not birth as seeds. It was going to be interesting to see.

Without anything to ambush her for sexytimes, and precious little other distractions, Kylie just... went about playing with a little blue ball of fire in her palm, making it wiggle and dance while Kina and Kuna sat on her shoulders as little balls of fluff with faces.

Hey hey! Are you really gonna murderblender all the meatcows? Why would she do that? That's a bit much! Kina said, before the cat reached over and tilted the tiny dogs head up at the blackening wall of clouds reaching into the heavens. Oooo... She really doesn't like slavers... Odd cos she likes being enslaved. What ya want? We're weird. Look at Sola! She's Batshit! And Kalt's even worse! Nu uh, she gives me belly rubs and her hands are cold. Feels nice.

The mushrooms had a strange sweet scent to them, Kylie found, when she picked a few, and after a few minutes she had Kina and Kuna on her shoulders, chatting about things. After a while, Kylie saw the full moon shining brightly above her, and she felt her moon tattoo on her tingle slightly, and saw it glow a tiny bit, resonating with the full moon almost. She had a faint feeling that Giselle was experiencing the same thing, and reaching out she felt Giselle was content and happy at the moment, though obviously a bit worried for Kylie's well being, and that of Freya and Sheena.

While she sat there pondering, Kylie would see Freya murmuring softly in her sleep, and rolling around a bit, before curling her tail around herself like an extra blanket.

Both of you shush, I haven't decided on anything yet. That's the fun. Kylie told the derpy pair while she watched Freya roll around and tailsnuggle. Feeling Giselle, Kylie kissed her ring and smiled up at the moon. To her it was as bright as the sun, while pillars of energy radiated upwards through the island, while others swam through the air, and still different kinds misted across everything in a foggy blanket.

The world to her, would always be beautiful.

Her lover even more so. Her children more radiant then any celestial body in the heavens.

But she could see the painful and dirty power rising from the Northern tribes in the air, blood red, pain, regret, anger, vengeance... the feelings of slaves. Worse was the despair, like a black miasma.... She could see the dragons to... but their energy was well maintained, controlled, mastered... Not this cruel and unfortunate energy flowing through the island thanks to the minotaur's barbaric behavior...

She wouldn't allow it to stand, and so she stood watch over her fellows, and waited for daybreak.

As the night progressed, Kylie thought on things more and more and remembered what the minotaur nearby had told her, about the Terios clan and its followers having forsaken their old ways, and changed to not keep slaves like the others. If what he said was true, then it was very likely that the two clans and their followers had fought over the slaves at some point. One side to try and at least give them a better lot in life if not outright freeing them, while the other might have gotten even worse since their civil war had begun.

The night, unless Kylie did anything to make it interesting, passed mostly in peace, without anything disturbing them all, though she did hear the hooting of an owl, and out of the corner of her eye she spotted it swoop down to pick off a little rabbit.

When day broke finally, Kylie saw Freya and Sheena had snuggled up against each other, not for warmth, but more just for the companionship it seemed, and when they were finally waking up, she saw Freya's tail swishing back and forth.

Kylie accepted the rest, and mused on the minotaurs. Their problem was likely the simplest she had set out to fix... the more powerful problems on the island would require simpler solutions, likely outright murder, but would be harder to accomplish. They would not fear her, they would not kneel to her, she would have to make them.

She sighed. Well... she would worry about hunting dragons later.

For now, as the others began to wake up, she ruffled their hair to bring them back around, and moved back out into the open with a piece of roast ham, chewing on it slowly while she waited for the Minotaur to rise, and continue onward.

It didn't take too long for the minotaur to awaken as well, and Kylie found he had his own food that was in his pack. After a short while, he stood up and looked around. "Are you still out there, Shadow?" the minotaur called out. "I assume you are. I'm moving on now, so, try and keep up," he then called out.

Moving along, they made decent time throughout the day, with Freya offering quietly to Kylie to scout ahead a bit around noon or so, unless Kylie didn't want her to.

I'm always here. Kylie said to the Minotaur, stepping into the light for a moment, before fading away again as she followed in his path.

While they were moving ahead, Freya offered to scout ahead again, and Kylie nodded. Take a round about trail, circle ahead of us a bit and see what's coming up our way. I don't like surprises. She said, tilting her head back and forth for a moment before conceding the point. Freya was good at what she did, which was staying out of trouble, while Sheena had a penchant for finding it. They worked well enough together though.

Kylie saw the minotaur nod when she made herself seen for a moment, before he headed onward. After Freya asked if Kylie wanted her to scout ahead, the kitsune bounded off, keeping up high in the trees when possible, from the looks of it. "You think she'll find anything?" Sheena asked after Freya left, looking worried for Freya, but not questioning Kylie's decision to let her go alone.

About an hour later, Freya came back, looking... surprised, and maybe a little worried, but not for herself it seemed, as she looked just fine. "Kylie... I could have sworn I heard sounds of fighting nearby up ahead. And I know that it was minotaurs I heard shouting and stuff," Freya said to Kylie when she returned. "You think it's that Terios clan attacking the Asteron clan?" she then asked.

She'll be fine. She sneaks, you stab. You both have different things you're good at. Kylie said to Sheena while Freya bounded off, staying high and tight.

Continuing on, she was surprised to learn that Freya had heard fighting. She sighed and dropped down next to the minotaur she was tailing.

Are we close? If we are, go ahead and hang back. See to your mate and offspring, get them away from the tribe for now. Sounds like they're fighting up ahead. Kylie said, while above in that great cyclone around the island, lightning flashed and thunder boomed across a disturbing clear sky ringed in black whirling clouds.

If that was enough she'd keep the girls with her and start moving in alone, the storm building higher, more violent, angrier. Still it stayed outside the island, a wicked pillar of anger and violence and rage. But it's purpose was likely misunderstood by all looking at it. While she could use it for her own goals, she was pleased to see the great cyclone of power drawing taint from the island itself, those negative energies being swallowed by the negative storm, drawn to it, needing it. Everyone would have nightmares tonight, but to Kylie, to Her eyes, it was drawing poison from an old and ragged wound while she continued onwards.

The minotaur, when Kylie told him what she did, looked concerned, and merely nodded when she told him to go get his mate and children and rushed off in the general direction of the fighting, but not directly towards it. "We're about a couple of hours or so walk away from the village. If I run, I can make it in about half that, and skirt around the fighting. You have my word, I will not speak to the chief, of your coming. I'm more scared of you, than him, and what he doesn't know, won't hurt me," he called to Kylie as he rushed off.

"What do you wanna do?" Sheena asked Kylie softly, glancing over after the minotaur guy was gone.

Stay on my Ass. Kylie said, rushing through the trees towards the fighting, setting the springbarb on her gauntlets and doublechecking the wire as she ran, wondering what the fuck all was going on now.

Freya and Sheena nodded to Kylie and followed her along, making their way to where Freya heard the sounds of battle at before. After a bit, they closed in and found that the fighting was between minotaurs, about fifty or so on either side. Some lay dead on the ground already, while others still fought on. It was hard to tell which side was which, but Kylie noticed the markings resembling those of the minotaur they'd followed, on the losing side, from the looks of it. There were other sounds of fighting a bit further off, which made it obvious that there were other battles going on further on from where they were at.

Seeing the battle, Kylie just facepalmed. For fucks sake if they all killed eachother there'd be none left for her!

Making a very D:< face, Kylie dropped out of the tree she was in and drew her chain properly, snapping it out like an angry snake.

When Kylie bellowed out at all of the minotaurs on both sides, the ones that were winning, backed off a bit, while the ones that had been losing took that moment to catch their breath. Both sides were mostly looking up at her though, so she had their attention at least. "Why should we?" one of the losing side ones called back.

"Because that's the Hellion, you fool. Can't you tell just by looking at her? What woman would be unafraid of us all? Even if we are fighting amongst ourselves," another called, this one from the winning side.

You know! I am fond of that nickname, but I'm not from Hell. It's fucking Astounding that in 2 years this issue hasn't been put to rest, So I'm going to RIGHT NOW. Who rules the clans! she said, pointing up at the maelstrom in the sky.

See that!? That's Me. And I'm tired of this bullshit So Fall in Line and Take me to Asteron! I assume he's still... Mostly, in charge? Summon whoever commands the Terio's clan as well! she bellowed, snapping the chain around.

The majority of the minotaurs looked up into the sky, as Kylie pointed upward, and she saw a few of them take another step or two back. One of the Terios clansmen looked up to Kylie and stepped forward. "It would take us a while to get to our chief. Do you plan on bringing both together to slay them?" he asked curiously, looking a bit worried about what Kylie's response might be.

Only if they refuse to see reason.... Kylie growled, rolling her neck and looking annoyed. Asteros first then, and then someone can send the OTHER chief a message about what the resolution here is. Even if it does just result in wholesale slaughter.

The Terios minotaur nodded to Kylie after she finished speaking, and looked over at another minotaur and nodded to him, where that one rushed off, likely to get the Terios clan leader. The Asteron clansmen though, didn't look like they wished to leave, but one of them in the back slipped out to go do so, leaving Kylie there to either chat with any of them, with Sheena and or Freya who were both still in hiding, or simply sit there and wait.

Gonna make me wait here? You realize looking up, that no amount of reinforcements will help you this time. That storm is powerful enough to tear the entire jungle OFF this island like a patch of moss on a turtles back. Kylie said angrily, before moving off after the Asteros clanmen that had snuck off at a steady and suitably grumpy march.
