Freya nodded to Kylie when she felt her tap her on the shoulder. Freya pointed out 3 different traps, 2 snares, and a pitfall that were below them, and looking closely, Kylie could see that the minotaurs were heading towards one of the snares that Freya had moved, with Freya grinning at it. "Give it about twenty seconds and one of them should be stepping into my snare. I can feather him while you take care of the other," Freya whispered back, nodding to Kylie as she drew her shortbow.

Once Kylie was in position, Freya hopped to the next tree over, landing barefoot and silently, stringing not one, but 2 arrows, her tail curled around her so it didn't get caught on any twigs. Unless Kylie didn't want to go with another plan, or have Freya do something differently, the minotaur closer to them stepped into the snare, which triggered and yanked him upside down by one of his feet. He yelped, and within 2 seconds Freya had launched both of her arrows at the same time, and both hit him in the chest, puncturing his hide armor and piercing his lung and heart, leaving the other one for Kylie to deal with, though Freya was already stringing another arrow.

Kylie nodded and waited, trusting Freya's aim and just moving forward with the current plan. Kill the easy one, leave the less easy job of taking one alive to her. Without even waiting to see if Freya had actually hit her target, Kylie ported to the Minotaurs shoulders, sitting on them for a split second as she dropped the loop of chain around his neck, before rolling backwards off of him and hurling the sickle at a nearby tree, the blade lashing around the trunk to hook over the chain, while she hurled herself to a tree opposite and wrapped the other end of her weapon around it, using her abs to spin herself over the top of the now tight chain to let her weight lock it in place, grinning as she took cover behind the trunk and held on tight, looking to strangle the Minotaur to the point of unconsciousness.

Kylie's porting worked just as planned, and Freya finished off the other one easily enough, her arrows striking where she wanted them to, or at least close enough to it anyway. Despite getting the chain around his neck, the minotaur proved to be a bit stronger than she'd given them credit for, and was able to remain on his feet, and planted them firmly on the ground and kept her from reeling him in that easily. Freya dove out of the tree she was in, to support Kylie, and swung her bow around his neck to tighten Kylie's chain, which was in fact doing its job, he was just being stubborn was all really.

The minotaur reached up and managed to grab Freya and tried to pull and either fling her over his head to the ground with one hand, or pull her up and gore her with his horns, but Freya remained stalwart and refused to budge, her legs wrapped around his waist to keep her in position. Together, the pair of them managed to strangle him to the point he fainted, at which point Freya immediately let up. Looking up at her friend, Kylie could tell Freya was a bit winded by that, having to exert much more than she'd probably expected to, in order to force him to the ground, but she looked none the worse for wear.

Tough fuckers aren't they. Kylie said, chuckling as the minotaur sank down, Kylie unwinding the chain so they could avoid killing him and recoiling it. But they had nothing sufficiently strong to bind a minotaur with, and honestly Kylie didn't need to. Clean up that body there, take out the arrows, and roll him into a pitfall Kylie said, replacing her chain upon her belt and cutting the snare free.

Taking the noose of the snare, she grabbed the minotaur and ported him up into the top of the tree before looping it around his neck, before laying him down on a stout branch High in the tree, and using the tail end of the rope to tie his ankles together around the branch.

She had a few moments left, and she used them to dislocate both his shoulders, leaving his arms hanging Uselessly while he stared at a very far drop and felt a firm noose around his neck, the only think keeping him up right now was his bound ankles and Kylie's grip on the noose, keeping it from tightening from behind his head. For good measure she bound another coil around his horns so he wouldn't strangle, or fall and break his neck unless she wanted him to, Kylie taking a place underneath him a bit so he could see her. Naked, white hair, glowing lines, glowing eyes. All of her, entirely unafraid of him, lazily swinging her chain out of boredom.

"No shit, when they had me, bastards used to hold me down and stuff. Couldn't push them off or even budge them," Freya replied, shuddering a little bit at those old memories.

The minotaur was still out cold, while Freya got the other one down, and pulled it by the horns over to the bushes and out of sight. Kylie meanwhile was getting the other one set up how she wanted it, while Freya came back to help her out, having taken the other minotaur's gear and whatnot by the time the captured one was starting to wake back up. There was a look of fear in the captured one's eyes as he beheld Kylie, and saw Freya underneath her, smirking up at him. Sheena was still nowhere to be seen though, which seemed to worry Freya a bit, but she was trusting that Sheena was okay and could handle herself.

Sheena should be back by now... take up her route and see where or what happened. Kylie muttered to Freya after a minute. Same as before, just observe, if she's in trouble, no half assed rescue missions. she continued, before looking at the Minotaur.

I'm going to assume... that you know something of Who I am... But if you're unclear... I'm the Thing that ghosted one of your villages for Slaving on my Island... What's your Name. Kylie said, crossing her arms. I'd say Woman, or something else equally vague. But lets be completely honest... When something like me is involved, My Gender is the Least of your Concerns. she continued, eyes narrowing as her body crackled with electricity for a moment.

Freya nodded, before heading off towards Sheena's path, hurrying along. The minotaur, when he woke fully, looked to Kylie and narrowed his eyes. "The she bitch, the hellion. We have many names for you, witch," he replied to Kylie, with contempt in his voice. "And why do you wish to know my name? So you know to use it when you slaughter my mate, my children?" he then asked, looking like he wanted to spit in her direction, if he could trust that it wouldn't earn him the loss of his tongue.

"You're the one that's been sending those little whores to raid our hunting and coming of age rituals, aren't you? Disrupting our way of life," he then asked Kylie, looking almost amused.

Actually... I never took the life of a child, or non combatant. But If you want to really push and insult me in some pathetic mockery of actual bravery? I could start maiming and crippling you slowly. It's all in how you see the world. Problem is... MY World View is the only one that matters on This island. Kylie said conversationally. I didn't need to take you alive, I just felt like it. I warned you all to stop slaving... Even gave you time to Do away with those rituals and hunts. You still refuse. she continued, her weapon whistling a little louder as it sped up in it's circles.

That Kitsune used to be one of your slaves.... Now she's out here... Hunting you instead... How stubborn do you really want to be.

"You expect us to just up and change our ways, just because one person tells us to? Our ways are ingrained in our culture, we can't just stop them at the drop of a hat," the minotaur replied, obviously scared of Kylie from the look on his face. Though before Kylie could respond to him again, Freya came rushing back.

"Kylie... Sheena's up there, she needs our help. There's two or three chasing her, I don't know what happened," Freya called out as she came rushing back, the dim sounds of steel clashing in the distance telling Kylie that Sheena was still fighting.

If you had any sense? You would have Listened Clearly to the warning I gave you the first time... Kylie said after Freya had shown up with her news.

Now don't go anywhere! she teased, before porting to Freya and then rushing headlong for Sheena, Not bothering to wait and check, but instead swinging around behind one of the pursuers and lashing her chain at his neck, looking to take one cleanly with an ambush using the blade of her sickle at range. Kill or not, though she'd be severely disappointed in herself if she actually missed, she'd dash around the side, show herself just as her sword snapped out of her gauntlet and spun into her hand, before teleporting to the opposite side entirely to open another's back to her strike, and slash him in passing as she lashed out with a dropkick at the third, springing off him into the air to vanish again. It should have been enough to buy Sheena some breathing room before she planned her attackers' Deaths.

The truth was that she had been planning a pursuit counterassault the second she started moving and her reprieve only lasted 1 and 1 half seconds before she launched herself back in, sword in her left hand, chain in her right, spinning around so violently that the chain circled her twice before the sickle finally started to catch up and whip around her like a tornado, hurling leaves, slashing vines, sundering bark, and flesh in a tight arc around her twice before she struck the chain with her sword, snapping the sickle straight back at her face while she leaned back and followed it's new arc with a harsh crack of her wrist to bring it around again like a scorpion's tail while she dashed after it, letting the chain feint for her while she aimed a slash at her target's abdomen to disembowel him before rolling and using a hand spring to become airborne again, only to kick down on the chain and bring the sickle down with the strength of a full strike, before turning and bringing her blade back up under the chain to snap it back to her, spinning in a half turn again while her sword vanished back into her gauntlet and she came to a stop, spinning the chain in her gauntlet wrapped hands and looking somewhere between enraged and excited, bloodlust oozing off of her like a poisonous fog.

As Kylie rushed on to Sheena's location, with Freya hot on her heels, and when they arrived, Kylie saw a young woman behind Sheena, with Sheena desperately fighting to protect her from the minotaurs. "Give my prize back you little bitch!" one of the minotaurs bellowed at Sheena, who had a cut on her arm.

When Kylie and Freya came in, with Kylie rushing in with Freya to both go for a different minotaur, Sheena took that opportunity to attack the one that bellowed at her. As Kylie performed her attacks on the group, she saw that the one attacking Sheena didn't need to be dealt with, as Sheena ran him through with her blade, with him trying to choke her with a single large hand around her throat, though his strength was fading fast, Kylie saw, before he slumped over to the side, after she and Freya dealt with the other two, both of which were dispatched quick and deadly proficiency.

"Glad you two showed up when you did. I... kind of went against your orders, Kylie, I'm sorry. But, I couldn't just stand there and watch them rape her," Sheena said, gesturing back at the girl that was there, after the minotaurs were all dead, wiping her blade off on the dead one she'd killed.

Once it was all over, Kylie just shook her head at Sheena, sighing, before Bapping her on the noggin. Pretty sure we covered this in Day 2 of your training. Remember that important little chat we had? About not making rash decisions that put others at risk? You have me and Freya to worry about. But there's something else you didn't consider. If these guys figure out I'm coming back... Last time I took the Slaves, I was Obvious about it. If they think that is what's bringing me back? Some IDIOT in their group will think Killing the slaves will keep me away. What if you got caught helping out this girl, and interrogated? Or one of us got killed coming to save you? Kylie said, starting in on a lecture, before closing her mouth, closing her eyes, rubbing her temples, and just... Shooing Sheena towards the rescued girl. Freya... Sit on her if you have to. I have to go finish with the interrogation, take Her to the Blind and stay out of sight, I'll be back soon. She said, annoyed, starting to head back to the Minotaur she'd left hanging in the tree.

Sheena accepted the bap on the head in stride, and nodded, looking thoroughly shamed, but proud of her choice to come to the aid of the girl. "She's a virgin, Kylie... I remember when I was, oh so long ago, and wanted to give it to the right person. I just... *sighs*... felt she deserved the same chance. I acted before I thought, I'm sorry, yet... at the same time, not sorry," Sheena replied, sighing, and merely nodding again before taking the girl back to their hideout, with Freya nodding also and helping Sheena get the elven girl, who looked quite shaken, back to it.

Arriving back to where she'd left the other minotaur, she could see him trying to squirm free, reaching up to try and help pull himself loose. When he spotted her coming, she could tell he had the, "Oh shit!" look in his eyes.

Kylie sighed again and headed back, some lessons some of the girls just weren't going to get. Sheena wanted to be a Hero, today she got to be one to someone, that wasn't a bad thing. But the other side of that coin was eventually she was going to get someone hurt, or killed. The lesson wouldn't sink in until then.

Spotting the Minotaur trying to squirm free, Kylie sighed and ported right underneath him, balancing on a branch and staring him in the eyes, her own boring into his.

Consider the Following. I want to make you a messenger to your peoples. Instead of engaging in wholesale slaughter. And be Warned. I most Certainly Will if Pressed, Do you understand what I've told you so far. she said softly. The last time I did this years ago, on 2 occasions I let a minotaur live. Injured certainly, with no pride left to him. But alive. He came back a 3rd time and was killed for it. I will do the same this time. I will let YOU Live, and you will carry my message, to the highest authority your people have. And you will Deliver that message Exactly as I give it to you. Word for Word, without any embellishment, or exaggeration, and bring me his answer, not in word, but in deeds. she continued, tilting her head slightly.

Tell whoever it is that I followed you to them. That I am waiting for their answer. That they are to release every slave they have into my care Without exception. And to Cease the taking and keeping of slaves FOREVER MORE While they stand on My Island. They have 24 hours to decide, that their decision will stand for Every Minotaur in your tribes. The answers I will accept will be compliance, challenge, or refusal. If they Refuse I promise to exterminate you all in a display of power that will leave Melora's Tear TREMBLING with it's echoes for CENTURIES. If it is a Challenge, I will face any combatant or champion you set before me and Shame their families for the rest of your history before stating my demands again. Compliance goes without saying. I will never bother you again, I will not raid your people, or harm your parties. I don't even care if you conduct your coming of age rituals. But you must also accept the consequences that their will be reprisals from such acts, as would be Obvious. But you will under no circumstances take someone from their homes, keep them against their will, and enslave them to bear your children. Do you understand me. Kylie said, looking truly insane as blue flames started to roll along her flesh as her glamour threatened for a moment to be undone and reveal her true self, the declaration she was making stirring her rage.

When Kylie spoke to him, the minotaur did listen, well... it wasn't like he had much choice in the matter really. By the time she was done, the minotaur nodded furiously in compliance, noting the blue flames rolling along her body. "A-Asteron, chief Asteron is the high leader. Those of the Terios clan did heed your warnings before though supposedly. They do still go in search of females, and bring them back as proof that they achieved their coming of age, but then escort them away and back to their homes. I've only heard rumors of them doing this though, so I don't know how true they are. But I do know that the northern clans are in civil war because of you, b-between the Asteron and Terios clans, with all the smaller clans picking one side or the other," the minotaur said, looking a bit more loose tongued now that she'd put the fear of Kylie in him.

Ok. I'm going to take you back to the ground now, and you're going to go, and I will follow. I am your Shadow. Kylie said, swinging up above him and slashing the ropes, before porting him back to the ground. Don't dally now... I'm Impatient. She growled, watching him.

The minotaur, once on the ground and set free, rubbed his ankles where he'd been hoisted up. With that, he got up and started off, glancing at Kylie as he walked, as if worried she'd stab him in the back, which resulted in him bumping into a couple of trees, before he made it out of sight. "I don't know if he'll listen, you know. The chief, I mean," the minotaur said before he turned around finally to face the way he was walking, which was back towards the cave.

I don't care. I've made what will happen clear to You. She answered, watching him leave, before moving back to the blind. She could follow his tracks easily enough. He wouldn't be trying to hide them, assuming she was following him every minute, of every day.

Moving to their hideout, she slid into it and watched the cave entrance carefully while she looked at the elf. Well. Hi There. I'm sure these 2 have introduced themselves. I'm Kylie, Leader of the Feynrial Rangers, And I'll be getting dressed. She said, ruffling her hair as if nothing was wrong, that nothing bad had happened, and putting her armor back on. I've got us a Guide, you 2. Straight to their Bigwig. Sheena, I'm Serious this time. Do Not Reveal Yourself without me there. We're gonna be elbow deep in the asshole of their territory, there is no safety net. I don't know what I'd do if I lost either of you. So... please. she said, smiling weakly.

He simply nodded and kept going, looking like he assumed Kylie would be following him from a good hiding place at all times. Once she'd gotten back to the blind after leaving him be for the time being, she saw Freya was chatting with the elf on the cavern facing side, while Sheena was kind of huddled in the back corner, hugging her knees to her chest. "Y-Yeah, they have. They're really nice. My name's Dara. I was just out fishing when they came for me. T-The big one that Sheena stabbed, was the one that chased me down. He knocked me out after I struggled a bit, a-and I just woke back up about... I guess an hour ago. I can only assume that they wanted to make sure I was f-far enough away from help, before they... y-you know," the elf girl said softly, looking like she had just come of age herself, not long before.

When Kylie moved over to Sheena, she could see Sheena's eyes were a little red and puffy around them, making it obvious that she'd been crying a little bit, but she was trying to hide it by looking away, as if to grab her things to rummage through them. "A-Alright Kylie. I won't, I promise," Sheena mumbled softly and nodded.

Freya reached over and nudged Kylie and motioned her over close, leaning in so Sheena couldn't hear her. "She's scared that she disappointed you more than anything else, I think," Freya whispered quietly in Kylie's ear.

She's afraid she disappointed me!? Why would I be disappointed?! Kylie said loudly to Sheena's statement, making it clear she wouldn't let Sheena hide from it. That wasn't what the rangers did, they didn't hide from such simple things. They hid from big things with sharp metal bits. And shoot them.

Turning to look at her, she reached out... To Bap Her Again! The Bappening!

It's not about me being disappointed! You killed a minotaur and evaded capture by 3 until help arrived! Good Job! Woo You! Look! You saved a thing! See? she said, pointing to the elf thing named Dara

See!? It's a Dara, she said so. That's all a good thing. The only thing you did wrong was not get one of us. You leapt in. Sure you KNEW we'd come find you, back you up. But if you'd have gotten Freya in the first place, or me, we could have done it without any risk. That's a big deal out here Sheena, we're MILES from any other help, it's just the three of us, there's no other back up, there's no Hazel or Amara to come running. And I'm With you so I can't come to the rescue if we all get into a bind, I'm in it with you. So we need to be more careful then usual, and while I don't usually enforce it, I AM in charge here Sheena, I NEED you to listen. Dara, I mean no offense to you at all, I'm delighted you're safe. But if your life wasn't in Immediate danger? I'd have left you long enough to get help from my partners here, before jumping in to save you. Sheena, be proud of helping her, Be proud of what you did, but recognize the one mistake you made out of the 30 correct things you did, and work to correct it. I'm not disappointed, i'm just glad you're okay. she explained, looking to logic those blues away.

Dara, can you find your way back on your own? Or do you need a guide. she asked the elf quietly.
