Kylie (Courage Wolf)

Re: Kylie (Courage Wolf)

"Don't worry, it won't come to that, I don't think," Kaal said with a smirk, and looking confident that they wouldn't have to burn the world for beating this... demon thing.

Slapping the wyrmling's cheek, Kylie brought her around after a few moments, the girl coughing a bit through her gag. She looked up at Kylie, and Kaal, and squirmed a bit in her bindings. "Why is one of Vith's daughters out this far, and why is she attacking me, hmm?" Kaal asked curiously, glancing at Kylie before back to the dragonling.

Re: Kylie (Courage Wolf)

Because she hates you Kaal. Dick Envy. Kylie answered, snorting quietly as she popped the gag free. Quickly now. Who what why where and when or I'm gonna start pulling scales out. Because I'm headed to kill your bitch mother after I'm done with this other problem. Kylie said, looking down at her.

Re: Kylie (Courage Wolf)

"Heh... that might actually be true, you know. Hmhm... HAHAHA!" Kaal chuckled, before bursting out laughing.

"N-No please, d-don't pull my scales out. I'll talk... I'll talk," the dragonling said frantically. "M-My mother... she's allied herself with a demon... a very powerful one. He's... this horrible dragon looking thing. My mother ordered us to wait here, on his orders, he said he knew that someone would follow the trail of demonic energies," she went on to say.

Re: Kylie (Courage Wolf)

He knows about me, how flattering. How MUCH does he Know. How much does your Mother know about me for that matter. Kylie hissed, eyes rapidly changing color as her emotions ran wild trying to build scenarios she could deal with.

Re: Kylie (Courage Wolf)

"I d-don't know about you specifically, but p-probably. A-And I don't know how much he knows about you honestly. Are you... the one my mother said rides him into battle? The wyvern slayer?" the dragonling replied, nodding to Kaal as she gulped softly, looking quite terrified.

"Mmm... why did your mother ally herself with this demon, hmm?" Kaal asked, raising an eyebrow at the dragonling and looking very menacing.

"I... I d-don't know why. Honest. But I'd wager it's because she sees it as an opportunity to gain power, immense power," the dragonling stammered out in response. "This demon... he's very powerful," she added, shuddering more about the demon, than even Kylie and Kaal.

Re: Kylie (Courage Wolf)

You. Are a Derp. Thats what you are. Everything went tits up and you what? Stayed? Are you insane? I can't tell if I want to kill you or let you go but I'm too fucking busy for this shit right now. Listen here and listen very very good. You are going to follow that River back to feynrial as fast as your little scaly feet can carry you. You are going to POLITELY Ask ANYONE there to show you to Giselle, and YOU WILL atone for your part in this no matter how small! HAVE YOU ANY IDEA HOW MANY INNOCENT LIVES WERE LOST TO THIS MADNESS!? CAN YOU EVEN BEGIN TO FATHOM THAT ALL CONSUMING DEPTHS OF MY RAGE RIGHT NOW?! I swear on every god and goddess listening that if you do not do exactly as I've told you, that I will make you regret every second of life you steal by disobeying DO I MAKE MYSELF FUCKING CLEAR!? Kylie started, before starting to yell, the situation making her far less level headed then usual and her already merciless nature was at war with Giselle's constant forgiveness. Giselle would not allow her to simply kill this thing after hearing it out like this. Kylie would never hear the end of it.

I'm going to kill the demon, then I'm going to kill your mother, and that will be the end of all this insanity! Just so we're entirely clear on what is going to happen because make no mistake, this is MY island. I control the skies, I speak with the land, I cause to plants to grow or die at my very whim and if you do not keep the straight and narrow and find a better way through life then the insanity you've witnessed up until now under my household I will kill you before you can utter a single protest NOW GET! Kylie bellowed, undoing her restraints and standing her up, shooing her. It was obvious this decision was costing her, though what exactly was unclear to everyone else.

In reality the cost was in humanizing her enemy, normally not a problem. And she had to sit there with Kaal and actually meditate to get her head back into the right mindset of EVERYTHING Hostile Dies. This island had made her more Protector then Assassin and she had to be the latter right now. The Wyrmling was simply Incredibly Lucky. She had a Goddess to Thank for That. Once Kylie was done with that though, about a half hour later, she'd sigh and stand, back to her lethal self.

Re: Kylie (Courage Wolf)

"If I'd left, my mother would have had me hunted down and killed anyway. She is cruel, and ruthless. Those that oppose her in her own house, don't deserve to live, is how she thinks," The dragonling replied, before Kylie kicked her in the rear and ushered her along.

"Wait a moment," Kaal said, grabbing her tail before she fled southward, where he pulled something from off a little pouch he kept on a belt that shifted when he did, and out came an amulet. He put it around the girl's neck and locked it in place, before pointing to her to get. "Now go... do as Kylie said, or I'll nip that tail off and eat it," Kaal told her, where she nearly tripped as she ran.

"That will keep her from disobeying our orders to go to Feynrial. Though, I think even Giselle will not be too happy to see her. Delilah definitely will not, if she tells them that she attacked us," Kaal explained about the amulet after Kylie sat down, where he did too, checking his wounds he'd incurred from the fighting earlier.

Kaal sat quietly, and let Kylie meditate as much as she felt she needed to, while he tended to his injuries, and only once she was ready to get back up and continue going, did he shift forms back to his dragon one. "It's another hour or two to the lamia village. I only hope that the trail doesn't lead directly through it, because if this demon is as strong as the runt back there said, then I fear none of the lamia will have survived," Kaal said softly, when Kylie was ready to mount back up.

Re: Kylie (Courage Wolf)

That's what the meditating was for Kaal.... I no longer Care. Neither should you right now. We'll mourn the dead later because we have our own to create. Kylie said coldly, mounting back up and ready to continue on, again tracking the trail of energies to wherever the fuck it was going.

Re: Kylie (Courage Wolf)

Kaal merely nodded and didn't say any more on the matter, as they went back into the air, his wounds patched up the best they could be. The energies she'd been tracking continued north and west, apparently in the direction of the lamia village, for an hour or so, before they turned sharply straight northward.

"Hmm... the lamia village is still an hour to the west of here, give or take. It's odd that the trail doesn't lead straight through it. It's a more outlying village, though with how quickly the lamia can breed, assuming they're in the middle of mating season, I suppose it would make sense not to make a straight up attack on the place. Despite how devastating it might be to them. Can you tell if the trail diverges any up ahead? If not, I'll move faster," Kaal said, looking curious about this development as they flew.

Re: Kylie (Courage Wolf)

Kaal, I understand your worry and your compassion, you have to let them go. What is on the line here is your lover and child and my sister in law and that's just two people on an island of thousands we have to protect. If you want to see them again, please, I beg you, harden your heart for now. Kylie said, staying intensely focused on the trail, and on any ambushes they might see again as he flew. He made the first move, we HAVE to retaliate to learn anything or more will suffer. We cannot help them without revealing ourselves and our enemy will expect us to abandon the trail to check on the village. As far as I can tell it doesn't split, if it did I would be very confused... I'm tracking the very energies of it's life. Kylie continued as they moved, the sky becoming angrier and more turbulent. Once we enter the battle...... And the storm builds.... I wouldn't try flying.... she said in warning before anything truly happened because she was going to set a real hurricane loose once they found their target just to keep the fucking green dragon Grounded.

Re: Kylie (Courage Wolf)

"I know, Kylie... and I shall. Delilah means more to me than anything, right now," Kaal replied, sighing and nodding softly before speeding up. "Try and clear me a path, if we need to leave in a hurry. I'll fly up as high as I can, above the clouds, to keep them from seeing us running, if we need to escape in a hurry," Kaal said after a few moments, when Kylie warned him not to try flying in the storm she was creating.

Flying along for another couple of hours, the path didn't diverge at all, and the two weren't accosted anymore either, which was both worrying to Kaal, it seemed, and unnatural. "We should have been attacked again, surely Vith would know that those four couldn't have stopped me. They might have wounded me slightly, but four wyrmlings against a fully fledged dragon have no chance," Kaal said after two hours of mostly silence.

Re: Kylie (Courage Wolf)

Not entirely true... she could very well assume you're dead, and we didn't leave anyone alive or in a position to warn her... She likely expected Hazel. Or Amara. And a surprise attack like that one could take out anyone properly timed. Remember the number of forces she sent to your cave. She likely assumes you're too injured to fight or dead. Kylie said, though she too was on high alert.

Still, that didn't stop her from reaching deeper, looking at the current she was following more closely to make sure she hadn't been tricked.

Re: Kylie (Courage Wolf)

"Hmm... possibly. I doubt she expected you and the bee queen to come to my aid when you did, or for me to have Delilah there. She eradicated two of the wyverns with a blast of magic so powerful that even I was a little frightened by it. I didn't know she had access to that powerful of magics," Kaal replied, looking thoughtful for a moment. "Well, either way, I will agree she likely expected Amara, or Hazel, one of the two, or both, probably, to be the ones following the trail, if anyone was able to," he added after a few moments.

With that, Kaal continued onward, and Kylie felt the path beginning to diverge again, this time to the north and west once more. "Hmm... even I'm sensing something now, Kylie. Hang on, let me take us up. Can you clear up the sky a bit about fifty or so miles northwest of here? So the sun can shine through. I have better eyes than you, and I'd like to see what I'm feeling up that way," Kaal said after a couple of minutes, narrowing his eyes slightly to focus them better, as he started climbing higher into the sky.

Re: Kylie (Courage Wolf)

On it. Kylie said, closing her eyes and forming the eye wall of the storm, the sky above them clearing... the eye was almost 100 miles wide as the storm began to build. This was easily 4 times the size of what she had summoned up for the minotaurs and in the hot tropic air... it was Easy. The seas boiled and thunder began to boom inside the boiling wall of black clouds, flashes of lightning, Red and Furious arcing impossibly violent within the eye wall..... the winds directly underneath the eye wall itself strong enough to uproot trees. You've got 20 minutes and all hell breaks loose when that eye shrinks. Kylie said...

If this Demon could see the currents rising out of the island, and lancing down out of the heavens to coil into this beast, this nightmare of a storm.... well.... It wasn't Hazel coming to kick it's ass. Fuck what it THOUGHT it knew about this Island's guardians.

Re: Kylie (Courage Wolf)

"Only need one minute really. But twenty's good," Kaal replied with a chuckle.

Kaal focused his vision, as they flew along, gliding more than anything so he could keep them steady as they went. Kaal stared into the distance as they continued approaching where he was looking at, and she suddenly saw Kaal's eyes go wide after a few moments. "What in all the gods names has happened there?" he asked softly, not really at Kylie, but more to anything listening.

"You can tap into my energies, can you not, Kylie?" Kaal asked curiously, stopping to hover. "Do so, and see with my eyes," he told her, arching his neck up so Kylie could place her hand on it to tap into his body's energies to do as he'd said.

Once she had done so, Kylie saw with the very astute vision of a dragon's eyes, and she was more along for the ride, rather than looking herself, and Kaal narrows his eyes to focus further out, where Kylie saw a bit of the island about 40-50 miles ahead, looking like it was decayed, rotted from within, and ultimately polluted with tainted demonic energies. The area of land that was tainted was about 10 miles in diameter, but with Kaal's vision, it was possible to make it out.

Re: Kylie (Courage Wolf)

Tapping into Kaal, Kylie got a look and visibly bristled, so did the storm as it moved, It was all the warning Kaal really had as the eye began to tighten and slide like the hand of a god itself towards that blighted land, all of Kylie's will going to forcing the hurricane onto her enemy directly while Kaal was forced to fly within the eye itself. Lightning was splitting trees everywhere. and fires were cropping up only to be drowned immediately in a violent sheeting torrent of rain, Kylie screaming from Kaal's back in absolute Fury at seeing what was being done to her home.

Inside her mind.... Kalt took the wheel again... Idris standing right beside her.... knock knock motherfucker... knock knock motherfucker... they said in unison...

Re: Kylie (Courage Wolf)

"Shit... Kylie give me a little more warning next time!" Kaal cried before he climbed upward, higher and higher, as he went forward, wanting to put as much distance between the ground, and them, just in case.

The storm rages, splitting trees with lightning, washing away fires with the torrential rainfall, and Kylie could see that those blighted lands were slowly being drenched with her rains, flooding them quickly. After Kaal took them up nearly a mile and a half, he looked satisfied that they were high enough to keep from getting attacked by anything from the ground that he couldn't dodge easily enough, though he kept up with the eye, so as not to get caught in the heavy winds that could blow him around.

"So what now? I dare not go down into those blighted lands. There's no telling how many demons he may have in there to attack us. Plus, without being able to fly easily, I won't be much use in there," Kaal asked Kylie over the sounds of the rain and wind.

Re: Kylie (Courage Wolf)

Well. Merrick and Hazel and the others will need you more then I'm gonna. Thanks for getting me here. Giselle will know if I need rescuing but I highly fucking doubt it. Kylie said before urging Kaal down enough for her to port into a tree, blighted or not and starting to stomp her way into the lair, mad as hell and with lightning peppering the ground constantly, the winds screaming. She could fire the rifle here and no one would hear a thing.

And then she vanished from view, from everyone and everything, a shadow in a dark land under a dark and boiling sky as the winds parted enough to let her into the storm and Kylie stalked forward heedless of wind or rain, no fear at all of the storm she had created and only bloodlust in her mind.

Re: Kylie (Courage Wolf)

"Kylie... I implore you, don't go down there. I got a bad feeling about this. If it's a demon lord, there's no way that you can win alone," Kaal said to Kylie, but began easing his way down anyway, despite his better judgement.

Once she'd ported down, Kylie felt the sickly feeling of demonic taint all around her. The place was a swamp now, where it was once a thriving ecosystem of rain and temperate forest land. She could see Kaal heading back southward, before losing sight of him, thanks to the trees. Moving along, Kylie saw the deeper in she went, the more tainted the ground was, and the energies beneath were already growing sickly and tainted as well, that reached directly into the island's entities.

Re: Kylie (Courage Wolf)

Uhh huh. Unfair odds is what assassins Do Kaal. Was all Kylie had to say on the matter as she headed in under cover of her storm and using every ounce of her training to stay hidden, playing the stealth game to her utmost. She wasn't here to do any fighting just yet. Though she'd kill the dragon if given the chance. She was here to figure out what the fuck had come to her island. The storm would cause enough chaos to get her in and out. Even as it decimated the blighted jungle, that wasn't it's true purpose. It was simply a way to create an environment she had a natural advantage in.

She continued in deeper, following the trail, needing to know what they were fighting. Though she'd happily take a shot if it presented itself...
