I think you only need to copy over the prog.dll to the 8.1 game folder. At least that's what worked for me.

I dont get it how you can get famous with this Sorry to say that SHIT you made there ... I mean artstyle ok ... Animations ok ... but Game itself Is the WORST an ANNOYING One i EVER played... I cant even lass tue third Part of the First Level just because shit Checkpoint Management (1/2 life + at the beginning of the map for a 4 Minute Level with 20 enemies in it where you can get only to the HALF of it with 1/4 lifes and than fighting 2 unbeatable faries and 2 fast melee attackers is just stupid and insane) everyone looking your Games must be an utter masochist or just a Dark souls pro Gamer ...

someone's realy mad here, no need to be so harsh (is that even a word? i dont know)
i dont get any of your complains, it plays well and yes i can see 1 or 2 parts iirr were it can get frustrating, but not as much as you say.

I CANT GET THROUGH THE FREAKING FIRST LEVEL ... I have fucking 1/3 LIFE Left and NO ENERGY and have to get through 10 enemies WTF?!

Or maybe you're too young to be playing adult games in the first place...

But seriously, the gameplay is balanced, and there's no fun in just watching sprites in the gallery, you gotta earn it kid. There are loads more difficult H-games that are way more difficult that don't come with good art, good mechanics, good maps, a good gallery, and so on.

That being said I haven't played the new update yet so I need to check it out. Hell, I need to check out all the rest of the forum, I haven't been here in a while. Maybe it did get Dark Souls difficult...

The latest version is the least difficult, he adjusted some jumps and hitboxes and even added an easy mode.

It's still a tough game though. Learn the patterns and don't get hit, you're not really supposed to breeze through the game first try.

Also, did you know that crouching blocks attacks? Space bar backdashes, but the block is far more useful.

Really, the only part that got harder was the final boss...

Which is actually a good thing because I felt her original version was way too easy.

Seriously though, game is not that hard, challenging at most. Read what poppadoc wrote, and use those skills wisely. Learn the enemies' patterns and think ahead.
And DON'T get so triggered over THINGS.

I think it is less about the difficulty of the game and more about how he expressed it that caused him to get red bar'ed. That and his spellchecker broke.

Being bad at platformers is one thing(I'm pretty bad at them myself, but maybe its because i don't use a controller), but don't blame the creator. it took me about 3 days to beat this one(again I'm bad at platformers) but that's what makes this game fun for me. It's unlike other h-games where someone simply posts a save and boom your game is now a glorified gallery. Taking the time to actually learn how to beat certain parts makes the porn more of a reward. not to mention you can only really see porn for the first time once, going back and re-living it is nice on occasion, but the first time is always the best. Think about that as your motivation to get better and learn the patterns.

even if the lazers have been removed on easy ill still have trouble scaling the big wall in level 2

Having played platformers for most of my life and having trouble with this game is if anything else an indication that at least some consideration should be put towards the difficulty of the platforming. Constantly saying "Don't blame the creator!" leaves me wondering who else exactly the blame should be directed towards, as even though I know for a fact I've made some rookie mistakes during my original playthrough of this game, there's no excuse for things to be this difficult.

Granted at this point I think everything that there is to be said has been said already, I just urge everyone here that's defending Kyrieru to realize that criticism is not at all a negative thing. What is bad, however, is defending someone religiously as though everything that's been touched by them is pure gold and incapable of having flaws. Be constructive, don't be a douche.

Tell that to the guy that started this whole mess. I had a lot of trouble with this game too, but that's entirely due to me just being bad at platformers. I think the difficulty is challenging and fair. It seems to me that the angry guy just refuses to learn from his mistakes and seeks something besides himself to blame. Not to say the game isn't without flaws. It presents a pretty high skill floor in order to see the H, which is what most people are interested in.

The disappointment I felt when the update to this thread was basically nothing gave me actual, physical pain.
