Just found this game, it seems to be a very linear platformer with double jump ability and wall jump (Wall jumping is very annoying to do in this game, you'll see what I mean. Apparently has only 4 enemies and one boss and they all have a sprite animation with no CG. It's a really fun game overall (Atleast the demo is, I wasn't able to find a full version)

Controls:

Z - Jump
X - Shoot blaster
Up - Use bed to save

What a cute little gem, seems almost familiar in a parallel fashion to a different
game which I've been agonizingly waiting for

*cough* hero and monster *cough*

The music is.. .. I'm not really sure, but I do like it. Makes me think of
the kind of theme that plays when a cartoon NES villain is in his war room
planning with his lackeys to kill the main character.

Sadly the content from the demo didn't give me an impression that this game
was up to par on standards.. It's quaint, and definitely good, but it could've
used more polish, and definitely more frames during the animations.

Aside from that, any lore in the game that reveals the heroine's actual age?

The only gripe I'd have with this game is possibly the slippery controls. But for what it was and the price, I'd say it was worth it. I hope to see more from this creator later one
