Lorelai struggled with this strange... Thing on her, but to no avail, wincing in discomfort as she felt it practically burrowing into her flesh. She'd need to wait for now. Melissa had far more luck, but evidently it still left her with an ample supply of fertile Norn flesh between her legs as of yet. Lorelai really hoped it wasn't permanent, she had been joking before. Though if it was she supposed she'd just have to manage.

N'gaasha suddenly appeared however, waving her arms to get Lorelai's attention, before pointing away from them. Lorelai looked, and cringed at the timing as a small army of twisted creatures suddenly emerged from amidst the graves. "Wha? How the hell did we miss them coming?!"

She didn't really recognise any of these creatures. Some sort of humanoid flora, a twisted looking insect, and two feather winged women of diminutive size. She cringed a bit as the visions, or memories, flashed through her mind. What foul timing.

The bug and one of the feathered women were quick. Ducking to the side of the insects lunge, she bumped right into the feathery creature. She was surprisingly powerful for being such a little thing, and oddly dense for a flying creature. Unfortunately that also let her force Lorelai down as she swore, struggling to get up.

Fortunately Melissa was still moving, and swiftly beat the plant thing into mulch, as she called upon her speed chant for the two of them.

"Hmph, reasoning is worthless with everyone out here I am told. Pity. Nevertheless I can hope someone will prove me long. Melissa lands both attacks and KILLS the Virago, seeming to be in a groove right now.

Lorelai managed to fling the heavy bird girl off her with a grunt, quickly calling N'gaasha to shield Melissa! She then attempted to blast the insect, but to no avail. The creature leapt at her, throwing her aim off and slamming her back to the ground, extending it's strange insect shaft. Assuming it wasn't an ovipositor or something.

She struggled with the weird bug thing with a snarl, even as she saw the harpy slam into the barrier claw around Melissa. So far so good. Melissa turned her eyes on the other feathered girl, beating her out of existence next. "Keep it up Melissa, beat their heads in!," she called, even as she tried to wriggle out from beneath the bug before she found out the hard way what it was like to break not only species taboos but laying with little more than an animal, even less than one!

Least the bug seemed interested in her as a female, unlike everything else thus far. Though having her ridiculous shaft rubbing against it's chitin a bit did not help matters.

(Struggle! If gets loose, calls Frost Claw spirit, then blasts the bug.)

2/5 Lorelai Parasite Condition. 18/20 Melissa is a futa. 1/3 until Lorelai can try to remove the parasite again. 8 Turns left on Mantra of Speed. 9/10 Turns for Barrier Spirit existence (250 HP). ((Made a mistake on Lorelai's last turn, I should have used a base 140 not 105, but as that only increases her already successful roll, I won't bother to edit for that. I need to proof read this stuff better!))


Escape Roll:

Lorelai: 140+433=573 vs. Bug: 185+339=524 (FREE!)

Lorelai tosses the bug off of her!


Lorelai summons her Cold Spirit, then launches an attack at her enemy.


Attack Roll:

Lorelai: 250+462=712 vs. Bug: 175+527=702 (HIT, CLOSE ONE!)

Lorelai deals only 150 damage with her spell due to the damn parasite, but then her spirit deals 600 Cold damage as it is not affected by the parasite. This leads to a 750 damage outburst, which KILLS the Bug.


Grapple Attempt:

Harpy: 205+307=512 vs. Lorelai: 190+514=704 (DODGE!)


Attack Rolls:

Melissa: 130+530=660 vs. Harpy: 175+652=827 (MISS!)
Melissa: 130+832=962 vs. Harpy: 175+500=675 (HIT!)

Melissa lands one hit for 300 damage, leaving the Harpy with 400 HP.


Options:

1: Attack the Harpy (If you land a hit, with your damage and the spirit damage added, the Harpy dies and the fight is over.)

2: Try to remove the parasite on the first turn, then attack on the second turn.

3: Run away and forget how close to victory you are.

Lorelai manages to just barely get enough leverage to knock the insect off to the side from her. "N'gaasha, Frost Claw!," she called, the spirit opening her Blue eyes and lowering the corresponding claw. She swiftly turned as the bug leapt once again at her, firing darkness from her fingers.

She only barely struck, but barely was all it took. The parasite was draining her energies, but N'gaasha was not so infected, and the frosty claw slapped the bug out of the air, spiking the frozen body into the ground.

She turned to her last opponent, and managed to duck out of the way as the harpy tried to tackle her once more. The harpies momentum carried her into reach of Melissa however, who promptly gave her a hard thwack.

"Ugh, let's finish this so I can get this thing off of me!," growls Lorelai as she took aim at the Harpy, and unleashed a Spirit Thrash.

(Try to nail her on the first. If miss, shoot again, if she goes down, then immediately try to remove with second action.)

"This map piece tells you where the captain of all the forces in this area is located. You must defeat Blood Raven and her three possessed Ape minions, before you can continue onward. This will be a tough fight, and it can't be avoided. Good luck to you, I think you will need it. When you are ready to go, I will guide you there rapidly. Please be aware you will encounter another of the devices after her fight and the same rules apply."

Feeling her shaft bounce was distracting to say the least. IT sadly threw her aim off, badly, though the Frost Claw clipped the harpy enough that her next tackle was throw wide, and ended up head first into Melissa, who spiked the feather bowling ball into the ground.

Lorelai sighed in relief before snarling and about to turn to the issue of her being a herm, when suddenly Cassidy appeared, making Lorelai yelp! "Gah! Can you not give a little warning next time?" Evidently Melissa picked up another piece of the map. And they had a leader facing them up ahead.

"Another device? Great...," grimaces Lorelai, "Can we, take a sec, this thing needs to come off me, NOW. Erm, Melissa I hate to bother you but you mind giving me a hand with this thing? You're stronger than me."

(Attempt to get this thing off and rest before move on. Also 5 str 3 dex 3 vit for Melissa, and 5 Int, 2 Energy and 3 Vit for Lorelai)
