Re: Lost and Found (xivvix/Kathy)
(Dropping stats since these are the wrap up posts.)
The demon nods, and Elea goes into the warehouse a few steps ahead of him. The elven woman immediately takes back her notion that this might be less gory than Matthias previous handiwork as she steps into the single large room, the floor of which is practically covered in blood. Demon corpses of various shapes and sizes liter the area, the dead joined by a sizable number of the people who had been chained to the walls. About half the prisoners are dead, with clean stab wounds in their chests, though all of the dead ones are highly mutated, some of whom look only vaguely like people because of all of the horrific malformations on them. The survivors all stare blankly about, zombie-like, though if it is because of their treatment by the demons, the sight of Matthias attack on their captors, or because of some other reason, Elea cannot be sure. A single key sits on a crate directly in front of her, which Elea fits into each of the locks of the slaves, leading the survivors outside to the mildly less disgusting area, where the group of nude ex-captives stand, still unresponsive.
Meanwhile, as Sable leads her plant progeny toward the demon camp, they describe in somewhat graphic detail all of the things they'd like to do to Elea, which are more or less exactly what she'd expected them to want to do to her. (Lack of creativity and will, sorry
) Perhaps they had some instinct ingrained into them to not mate with their immediate relatives? Regardless, they also said; "Of course you'll be safe! We do not hurt things unless they hurt us!" And then, at the question of their father, they said; "We do not know.... We can sense only others like us, and the ancient ones. They are the only ones with voices for us to here." The odd group arrives at the camp shortly, one of the plant girls having scooped up Eleas gear for her. The plant girls immediately started eying the freed prisoners as Elea and D'Von freed the last of them from the warehouse where they'd been kept.
Moments later, however, the group all noticed a strange red light coming from the gate into hell, which had previously glowed violet. The twilight of oncoming evening was suddenly lightened by a titanic column of flame coming from the gateway and ascending up into the sky, the heat of which the group could feel from where they stood. It lasted for only a few moments, but Elea and Sable both noticed that the orange light hadn't faded completely, suggested that it might have lit some of the already decrepit town on fire.
(Decide on what you'd like to do next. You'll more or less succeed on RP type stuff, rather than me rolling anything.)
