Re: [LunaSoft] リターニアの精霊使い
Over 40 hours of gameplay and cruising through Hell difficulty chapter 3. Only problem I have is lack of artifact crystals to instantly upgrade new gear to +5.
No idea what achievements 10-13 are about. I've tried running through easy mode but it's not related to running from combat. Possibly to do with damage inflicted per round.
Achievement 10 seems to be one of the "Walk a Gadzillon ton of steps" ones.
Achievements 11-14 are the most counterintuitive*, as they require you to be TPK'd one, five, ten and 25 times respectively. You need to actually continue the game (and let it take 1/2 gold each time) instead of reloading to get the achievements.
(The game not updating the achievements immediately after the triggers are met made it hell to discover how to unlock 11-14.)
They are basically just marks of shame, even with the game trying to get all sympathetic for you (Achievement 11 is literally named "Ganbatte!") So, yeah, don't bother. Not worth the gold loss and time spent.
Dex doesn't increase all stats, only some. It's made explicitly clear in one of the menus what stat influences which parameter.
Well, the menu does say it "affects every (derived) stat", and not just Hit, Spd, Paralyze/Sleep Resistance. In practice after testing, every point of DEX seems to raise Atk by 0.3, Def by 0.3, Hit by 1.5, Spd by 0.5, MAtk by 0.2, MDef by 0.2 and Paralyze/Sleep Resistance by 1.5 per DEX, rounded down. Doesn't appear to be any Avo increases though. Also these are just approximate values, as I don't have enough data points to be sure (especially because of the rounding).
Untested theory:
You can't get shady man for 5mins after you loaded the save.I never get shady man before I saved first time after loading ,probably out of luck. The equipment you bought had defined attributes already so S&L doesn't help.
Shady salesman trigger probabilities not affected by save and load as far as I'm aware. Put more points into the final skill in Leonard's middle skill tree to increase the chances.
I went and savescummed a few times to check out how things work. Shady Man encounter (and other 'random' encounters in town like the relationship ones with your spirits/elementals) seems to be triggered upon returning back to town from a dungeon. The game appears to roll for it the moment you return (via the dungeon entrance, any of the waypoints, or Leonard's instant portal skill). There also seems to be some minimum number of steps required -- no events will be triggered if you just walk back immediately after entering the dungeon. Probability of encounters goes up the more steps you take before returning, and by some point it seems you're practically guaranteed a Shady Man encounter (and a relationship event with one random spirit/elemental) when you return.
Leonard's skill "Underworld Connections" appears to increase the chances of the Shady Man encounter happening by increasing the rate at which the event probability rises per step. Spirit Bonds does the same for relationship events instead (it also increases the trigger rate of in-dungeon relationship events).
If the game determines that the Shady Man will appear, it will also immediately roll for (i.e. randomly generate) the Shady Man's shop inventory. There is no time between the two events for you to save the game. Basically, once you step into town, all encounters will have been predetermined (including relationship encounters). You therefore cannot savescum from a savefile in town to change the Shady Man's inventory. You can, however, savescum in town to identify his goods before committing yourself to buying them, in essence cheating the "gambling" system.
Alternatively, you can savescum in the dungeon at the moment BEFORE you return to town to force the game to generate a different inventory for the Shady Man (and then savescum again within town to identify his inventory). This method can also force relationship events for a specific spirit/elemental. This is very tedious though.
Not sure if posting equipment image allowed since there is a loli , so I didn't capture it.
If the image doesn't have Melissa with clothing damage in it, then it should be fine. Rest of the party aren't loli, and even Melissa is okay if she's at full (or near full) HP.
