Supposedly there are a few new H events according the blog post, I’m very curious what those are. In any case folks, the wait continues and I’m really hoping we’re near the end, well, if it comes out in May that is.

I tried a new game on the new demo, and I think I've gotten softlocked in the starting temple after skipping the prologue in Story Mode. It says I need to open the sealed door, but the door is... well, sealed. It just won't open, no matter what I do. And the MC's all "I guess there's a reason she's not opening the door. Oh well, I'll come back later", but I can't leave the room.

Same thing doesn't seem to happen in Free Mode.

I'll still accept it as a late birthday present, even next month.

Also, lol, the final-final demo was taken down cuz bug, lol.

Well, let's hope he can fix multiple bugs at once.

I had another crash when I tried to enter the cave in Landon Canyon (where the barbarians are).

So, finally I've found an image compressor, a totally niche one, compatible with Dungeon and Bride. All the compressors I ever tested (ECT, pinga/pingo, PNG Gauntled) caused problems with the wall transparency and people complained in this thread. So the next DEMO I'll repack and post in this thread with the new optimization for testing.

TESTING REPACK:

A new Demo released right before the D-months? And it is full of bugs? This really have that " Anyway, See you Next Year! " kind of feeling to it.
Nngh... If you have the time of day to crop the game into demo's, might as well just focus on the full version release, Please! 😭

Guys, what dream team do you suggest creating according to:
- what actually works/delivers
- having all girls' races in the team if possible
- having race's bonus (max amount of trait) filled up

I like Elves and Human, so I kinda fill my party only with those.

From my experience with the previous demo, not the one release this week, I found Valkyrie and Ranger to be underwhelming.

I went for vanilla Human Fighter MC dude, but rerolled like crazy and maxed like 3 or 4 of his stats.

You kinda need a Thief, good exploration utility with Lockpick.
Mage is almost a must because of extra utility, spell slots to cast jump or the minimap spell.

Can't remember if Alchemist was the class with Appraisal skill or it was a different one, but I found it to be good utility later in the game to be able to upgrade gear on the fly instead of having to revisit town to identify everything.

I made a Summoner hoping to capture and raise a couple of high level summons and then eventually respec to ranger and be able to still use those summons. Was disappointed to find out that your attributes reset when you respec, so it was pointless to reroll until 30+ points on character creation.

I found that Blade Dancer class to be really amazing DPS and I think later she unlocks random chance to instakill.

If you are planning to go one of each race, I suggest Dwarf Blacksmith, found it to be decent and with great utility.

So my best party so far ended up being:
- Fighter MC
- Thief (usually keep Max)
- Blade Dancer
- Summoner
- Alchemist
- Mage

I don't remember if Cleric was in the game, but I think I had one of those too. Probably Mage and Alchemist were interchangeable, or I just learnt all the spells on my MC.

Dude, use Cheat Engine to freeze attribute points left during character creation and to Speed Hack the game x5, the battles are MUCH faster :)

What is different in the repack vs downloading it directly from the blog?
Blog kinda implies link will be removed on the 25th, so I guess it's good to have a permanent link, but any significant differences?
Repack has optimized/smaller images, thus smaller xp3 archive.
