I'm guessing he's just adapting a "fuck it" attitude now that it's almost over. After the amount of harassment he's endured over the years (he mentioned he's behind on replying to emails in the last post) he's almost certainly retiring. I mean imagine waking up and reading mostly hate mail every day for like 4 years. The comments are absolutely vicious as well.

Honestly the state of the game is ripe with opportunities and someone with programming knowledge can just pick it up and add more scenes and mechanics. It's pretty easy to do with what's there already. For example, if someone wanted to, they can add entirely new endings and scenes.

All you really need is a) art assets b) very basic programming knowledge. The entirety of the combat system can be ignored and you're left with simple triggers for events. Even in the game, there are code examples for the things a multitude of events. Eg, when a character enters a city, with certain conditions, something happens. Or when the girl's Loyalty(?) falls below certain levels, there's another event.

There's 2 reasons why it won't ever get done.
1. It's a ton of work and requires actual expertise
2. It's currently licensed so you'll get into legal trouble if you try to sell Leane 2.5

This great game was out for years before anyone even tried to translate it (bar, the guy who did Leane 1), I doubt anyone will ever make a Leane 2.5

You say the author is tired of the community, then Leane 3 is not happening. Now, maybe if Leane 2 was a financial success then maybe. But I don't know the exact number.

I'm willing to entertain doing the programming myself, depending on the scope of work as well as if the art is provided.

For example, if someone wrote a scene, includes all the images, and the h-scenes, then I can just code it in.

Personally I liked quite a lot this game, it had quite a few wasted oppotunities and defects but overall it was good. If it was sold while translated to english I would totally buy it, kind of sad that games like this don't make the jump to steam.

Eh, if you toned down the sex scenes or made them implied only, it'd sell fairly okay enough on Steam. The gameplay's well done for an H-game, just not as well as mainstream strategy titles; could be improved like others have said.

Found Evenicle on there, and there's also Slave (girl, I think?) and a couple others of the bigger dlsite titles from a few years ago. They do seem toned down a bit in content, unless it's just not shown on any of the previews...

Habisain is absolutely correct here; he is completely free to discuss underlying principles and themes about a game and what they may represent on a deeper level. In fact, I encourage this sort of discourse. Others are free to disagree and may try to steer the discussion elsewhere, but I don't tolerate trying to silence discussion simply because "it's a hentai game" and we shouldn't be thinking so hard about it (Ironic, since I'm now ending this line of thought for everybody).

Nobody is saying he can't express his opinions, in fact he's doing that just fine ain't he? On the same token, other people are also free to express their opinion of how ridiculous he is being by taking this game so seriously, a type of game where at it's very core is PURPOSELY not meant to be taken seriously, and is PURPOSELY silly and ridiculous. In fact, it DEPENDS on you to not take it seriously.

It's like watching a move call "Penguins" and then complaining about how there are damn penguins. You're free to make your complaint but others are also free to point out how ridiculous and unreasonable you are being.

that's exactly one big bad point of the game. when u have understand how the gameplay works, the game become really easy, and almost every ntr scene in the game can be unlocked only if the player actively do things to unlock it, becouse if i want play normally and play to win, i will (almost) never see a single ntr scene in the whole playtrough.

the game should have been create in a different way, where the player always play to win and must do things in order to avoid ntr events, not the opposite. the player must seek, fight, triggher events and manage girls stats points in order to avoid bad thing will happen to them.
that's would be a really good system.

for leane 3, i have enormous doubt. the actual leane 2 engine is litterally shit. it's the worst engine ever to make a game like this. and if he whant do leane 3 with this engine again well.. bad things will happen.
plus the problem he had with the community near the release of leane2 it makes me think he don't come back soon to code, the shit people threw at him was really really serious and worrying .

I take it they made it easy to avoid the NTR for those who want to be more in control of it, and indeed, I can understand how it could be annoying that you can't mold the NTR and story the way you want it. It similar to how people were upset that they couldn't control the first NTR scene so that had to be patched.

But I do agree that there should be a difficulty setting where the NTR is much harder to avoid. In the current game, even when the girls get captured, you have all the time in the world to rescue them and its very easy to do so.

However, the harem system is the main NTR feature of this game, the capture system is more 2ndary. The harem system is harder to avoid, especially since he won't let the girls go if you ask for them back too many times, but it is still pretty easy to avoid.

I think you're suppose to raise Leane's affection rating for you. You can also just skip the "prologue" with New Game +.

To avoid any heroine from entering the King harem in the prolouge you need to have the heroine at 100 loyalty, the best way to do this is by giving items, then a choice will present itself to avoid NTR.

Best way to stop the King movement in the game is by using mod/cheat which you can get here:

Just adding to what Kenjifire has explained.

In case you don't want to use cheat. The best way to slow or hold the king's movement is to build and upgrade harem building in the city where King is standing. You can't stop him completely even if you maximize the harem level but at least he won't move for quite a long time. Basically, you need to keep him very happy so he will stop moving for a period of time. In my gameplay, the king don't move for almost a year when I do this.

Income and expenses. If you beat the higher difficulty modes, there's mobs that are special to fight.

You can easily win the game with the F5-F9 cheats.

Found the Gold difficulty (third down) to be a good enough balance; Platinum wiped me out when I tried on a New game+, enemies too strong compared to your weak commanders... Might be good starting from prologue though.

Adding unto Cleanfeel, noticed the girls seem to be undressed faster at higher difficulties, and ai gets somewhat smart.

Assuming you "give" most of your female commanders to Hippia warlords or Holy King, you will probably face difficulty defeating some of the strongest enemies. The girls have the best skills in the game and somewhat better status than male commanders so if it can be pretty annoying when they are unavailable. Oh, and if they are seduced and converted to Hippia side then you may have to face them in battle. I have had Beatrice kicked my ass and took one fort because she was too strong lol.

Non-netorare route is pretty easy I think. Without the girls raped in harem or changed sides I guess you probably should have it easy as long as you can manage income and expense well.
