Is the C button supposed to be a dodge? Is it even useful? It also looks like you can also do some sort of ukemi. I'm not really sure how though.

C is used to grab enemies. It's important to get the distance right since too close or too far will whiff the animation and open the character up to counter-attacks.

I've never seen ukemi animations nor has the creator talked about them in the blog.

It's pretty much a timing thing when an enemy tries to grab you, I've done it a few times purely by luck and really have no idea if it was me attacking or trying to dash.

There is however an attack canceler move you can do by dashing forward or backwards while attacking. It's great when you're in the middle of a combo and another enemy tries to run up on you. Not sure if you get an invincible frame while doing it though.

If attacks on both sides connect at the same time, she'll do a little somersault to stay on her feet most of the time.

Step forward and step back after attack cancel has no invincibility frame.

There's an update not too long ago, was wondering any other website has it, like AS or so.

The usual file-sharing websites only release updated versions of games if there is a significant increase in content. Since the update only has additions to animations which can be viewed in the gallery, don't expect anything from them any time soon.

Torrent releases rely on what the Taiwanese uploaders et al release from their FTP servers, so no point stressing about the new version.

I'd argue that additions to animations is a pretty big content deal with these kinda games though

Only if it's 18+ content and/or significant increases to storyline if it's not 18+ content.

If the creator makes good on his promise to include an extra stage with new backgrounds, enemies and a new boss, that version might get shared through the usual outlets.

Looks like someone decided to release 1.02 on H-S. Link is legitimate and the gallery now has the normal grapple attacks for regular enemies and bosses.

Don't think the creator is going to go through with the new stage and additional features, so enjoy the additional content.

Sorry to ask, what does H-S stand for? Trying to find the website rn but no luck.

The updated version is also available from the other usual channels. If you don't know what these are, search the forum for "A-S" or "sukebei".
