I mainly said what I said because the rules changed a while back and a lot of people get banned immediately because they do not read the rules when joining and immediately ask for a link to paid content, which was I thought you might have been referring to. However, since you are the creator of the posted content and said content is freely available, those rules would not apply, and I wanted to reassure you that you should be safe.

I actually saw someone get banned just the other day for requesting a link on a topic who clearly didn't read the rules OR any of the thread's previous posts.

I see! That's a bit unfortunate. I haven't browsed the forums other than to update my thread and contact my tester in quite a while, so I wasn't aware. Good thing my behaviour is also ban-proof, at least.

I mean, my interpretation does not override that of a moderator/admin, but I was just saying that I did not see how you posting links to your own work would violate any of those rule changes.
