ACT [Mega Blue Ball] Pixie Panic Garden v1.2 (RJ225140)


I'm having trouble with the chapter 5 secret, but it sounds like it should be obvious once it's figured out. I'm probably just overlooking something obvious, but it is in 5-4, right?

Anyways though, I'd definitely be happy to see another level. The game has been a lot of fun. (Aside from some frustration. Wasn't a fan of the final bosses "reverse controls" attack. I don't think I've ever played a game where that mechanic was fun.) There's definitely a part of me that would rather see you just decide on the enemies/fetishes yourself though. I do think it's neat to poll us about it. But I guess the only thing about polling for it is that, it could be a bit more of a letdown if something a player isn't interested in gets selected. If you just decided yourself I kinda feel it would feel like that less, even if whatever you picked wasn't something I was into.

On the topic of the poll, I do see your point. But I believe that with a poll I at least will get to know a little more about the overall audience of the game and their preferences. Then I can compromise and perhaps combine some related fetishes with one another and stuff. In the end, all the fesithes included in PPG are things I'm into so I'll have no problem creating my own vision and crazy combinations regardless of the results.

Bomberman was always one of my favourite games as a kid, and thus this game really tickles some nostalgia for me. The sprite work is good, the animation is good as well, and the idea of a porn version of Bomberman is just overall intriguing to me. It's also proven that I suck at planning ahead cause I always lose a ton of lives on the 'don't bomb these things' stages; I'm never paying attention to where I put the bombs when I try to blow up the enemies. Heh.
Props to you, Mega Bulging, for making this game and I hope to see more awesome games in the future.
 
There's actually an unlock code for anyone that doesn't want to play the game, which is entirely understandable considering the game difficulty. I quit at stage 3 LOL

I only play the first three stages of the demo. Seems like a fun little bomberman clone. I like the sprite h-content so far from what I've seen, but it could do with slight variation.
It infuriates me the status bar keeps disappearing, I wish for that to change. Also having to start the entire level over again with no possible checkpoint is super annoying.
 
Hi everyone!

Work on version 1.2 is about 50% done, and I'll finish it in about a month or so. At this point there are 3 enemies left to design (which were the most voted ones): tentacles monster, insect and bestiality.

The game needs read/write permission on its folder in order to save your progress. To test this, you can remove the "UserData" folder and run the game so that it creates a new fresh folder and save files, this will clean any bugs that might have been affecting the file due to permissions. Alternatively, you can use the code provided above to unlock all the content.

You can set the status bar to remain active by pressing the default "S" key. It will remain on the screen for the duration of the level. On the topic of a checkpoint for a level, I acknowledge that on the most difficult ones it is annoying to have to redo it. For a potential future PPG2, one of the things I plan to do is for the player to have 3 "health" during a level, which would be show as clothing damage. So for example Pixie would start a level fully clothed, then for instance step on her own bomb, her clothes would be damaged but she can continue playing, then if an enemy touches her, now she would be fully naked but can keep on going on the level, so the player would effectvelly have 3 lives or tries per level without having to reseting it every single mess up.
 
Hey all having trouble finding the Stage 2 secret, despite the hint and numerous attempts in different spots...
I'd greatly appreciate someone steering me in the right direction! (or directing me toward a previous reply if I've somehow missed it)

You need the shield powerup. (Though I figure that one's probably pretty obvious from the ingame hint.)
There's a specific enemy type on the level (2-x) that the secret is on.
It's on 2-5.

Hey Jason, thanks for the tips. That was my initial guess, although walking upon them w/ shield up didn't trigger the secret.
To double check if I haven't somehow triggered it by accident, this unlocks CG 7, correct?

IIRC, yes, that should unlock CG 7. It's been a while since I actually unlocked the secret, but...

IIRC, you have to actually kill one of the sprouts and walk on it's space with the shield activated. Or maybe it was activating the shield while standing on it. Like I said, it's been a while, so I don't remember 100%.

Hello everyone! A few updates about what has been going on:

1) PPG v1.2 - Development on the free add-on is almost complete! I'm finishing the last CG's and some final adjustments, so I'd say development is around 90% done. It's been a little over 2 months of work now but we are getting close to release! Stay tunned in the coming weeks for a more precise date.

2) Interview - The english version of dlsite did an interview with me! Every month they interview an indie dev, so my interview is the current one featuring for the month of July.
