Hannah tried a new spell this time, floating a bit of flame up into a ball above her head, which lighted the room fairly well. This gave the two of them the opportunity to see the immensely large bat in the room just as it started to swoop towards them.

"Oh. Great, yet another creature to smack about..." the red-haired fighter thought as she saw the bat detach from it's resting place above them. Another aerial creature fighting them was not a nice idea, but there was very little they could do about it now. Desoite not being very on fighting it, Mei prepared herself to meet the thing and it's charge from the higher elevation point.

Mei-Lien mistimed the bat's approach, and her attack sailed harmlessly under it, while it managed to dodge Hannah's fireballs and sink its claws painfully into Mei-Lien's shoulders. Despite the pain, the redhead was able to land a punch to the bat's belly that knocked it off her, and Hannah was able to land a fireball to its face in its confusion, though another sailed wide. As the bat flew at Mei-Lien again, Hannah decided to try using the bow in combat, and before it could reach the fighter it received a flaming arrow through each of its wings, allowing Mei-Lien to land a harsh kick to its body and send it flying away. The thing already looked badly wounded.

Even with her finely honed senses, Mei couldn't quite pinpoint her strike at the diving bat. "Awww..." she thought as her fist swished by, the clumsy strike was soon punished by the flying animal's claws. Ignoring the pain of her wound, the naked fighter continued on to uppercut into the enemy as they failed to escape in time. After a few arrows and a timely, harsh kick into the bat's body, the situation looked much better for the girl duo. "Better go all the way then..." the redhead thought, gesturing Hannah to carry on as she prepared to battle further.

Hannah put another flaming arrow into the bat's stomach, and Mei-Lien managed a powerful uppercut on the staggering beast, but it quickly recovered to once again sink its claws into the redhead's shoulders. This time it was in a better angle, and Mei-Lien wasn't able to knock it off her, while at the same time Hannah wasn't given a clear shot. The bat gripped Mei-Lien even harder, tugging her up into the air despite its wounded wings. Again Mei-Lien can't do anything to improve her situation, and the bat flies hard for the wall before flinging her into it, knocking her out cold as she slams into the stone.

The redhead awakes with a slight headache, but her wounds all closed up and healed. Hannah is sitting next to her, though from the look of the wall it seems like she's taken the opportunity while Mei-Lien was unconscious to practice more.

Hannah has gained Magical Archery Level 1 (+1 to Attack)

Despite the massive uppercut she managed to sink into the bat's hairy body, Mei was still mauled and smashed into a stone wall and forcibly removed from the combat. Much to her delight, there was no bat rape waiting for her after her senses returned, only Hannah sitting there. The mage had healed her wounds as she always did, and according to the look on a nearby wall had been doing more practise with her fire bow. "Took the opportunity to train huh? Good girl, we'll manage even better. Or, you'll manage better..." the redhead said as they estabilished eye contact, slightly ashamed about always being the one to get punched out.

After a brief rest, Mei got up. "So, did you look around? Is there anything worthwhile in this whole room or did we just enter for practise and beatings?"

Hannah gave Mei-Lien a funny look at her first comment, and replied plainly "This isn't an individual activity. Without you in front of me to fight things and keep them off of me, I'd get raped constantly. I'd like to think that I help you nearly as much." After her rest, the mage said "there's nothing really in this room. Just that bat." With nothing in the room, they left the room, past the chest where the mimic had raped them, and then out and down the hallway they hadn't taken before. They turned into the first door they came across, and entered into a large room that seemed completely empty. They were about to turn around and leave when Hannah suddenly stopped, trembling a little.

"I know what you mean, but still..." the naked fighter replied, looking around the room but finding nothing of value or use inside. It had been just another waste of time, to her at least.

After traipsing through the few corridors, the duo moved to a new area for further investigation. Inside a large room they found, Hannah got her shakes again. "Hmm? Feeling another terrible presence?"

Hannah took a moment to answer, muttering "do... something..." as fire arrows appeared in her right hand. It would seem that this time the mage was the one being controlled by an outside force, and she was swiftly losing her battle to control herself, as she started to notch both arrows at once in the bow.

As she noticed Hannah's mumbly mannerisms ad her words, Mei realized what was happening, a reversal of the situation they had before. "Oh great.. now I have to smack her too..." the fighter thought as she saw the magical arrows sprout into existence in the mage's hands. Not wasting a second, she moved onwards to attack the nearly-possessed mage, not intent on killing her but rather knocking her out.

Mei-Lien lunged at Hannah, but the mage jumped back and unleashed the arrows at Mei-Lien. One of them flew wide, but the other hit her hard in her left shoulder, slamming in to the fiery imitation of a feather. The redhead managed to retaliate with a kick to Hannah's side, but two more arrows were fired off at her at close range, one of them missing in the mage's haste, but another hitting Mei-Lien in the stomach. Interestingly enough, even though it hurt, the magical ward Mei-Lien was wearing in the form of the ribbon they had found earlier protected her from taking too much damage, as the arrow dissipated soon after poking into her skin. Perhaps looking to knock Hannah out and end the fight, Mei-Lien sent a flurry of punches towards her head, one of them connecting pretty hard on the girl's temple, but for her trouble the redhead received an arrow lodged in her upper right thigh. As Hannah jumped back to get distance, Mei-Lien could see her hands shaking as she held the bow, perhaps renewing her fight against whatever was possessing her.

"She's fast in this state...." the redhead thought as her hopping punch went wide, only to be countered with a pair of arrows. Lucky for her, only one hit. With a quick direction change, Mei was upon Hannah once more, a smashing kick impacting with the possessed mage's ribs. But the twiggy girl was not to be underestimated, as she fired two arrows at nearly point-blank range despite the fighter being so close. The ribbon helped Mei through without any permanent injury from the close shot though. After an exchange between them, the situation leaned towards Hannah, but it seemed like the mage had her mental battle going on. "Better not take a risk still..." the redhead though, hurtling towards the other girl even as she shouted at her to resist.

Mei-Lien let loose a flurry of blows against Hannah; the possessed mage managed to block only one of them, the other two landing hard on her nose and chin, knocking her back for a moment before she staggered Mei-Lien with an arrow to the leg. Another arrow appeared in her hand, and for a long few seconds she stood poised over Mei-Lien, the arrow pointed at her face. At the last moment the bow jerked to the side, and the arrow shot harmlessly into the ground next to Mei-Lien, giving the redhead enough time to jump up and end the fight with a powerful uppercut; Hannah left her feet, flying a few feet into the air before landing on her back with a thud, unconscious. For her part, Mei-Lien had an arrow in each leg and another in her shoulder, making moving both difficult and painful, though after a while the fire dissipated, leaving wounds that were surprisingly closed up, perhaps thanks to the fiery nature of the missile that created them.

A few more exchanges passed among the two of them, with each girl hitting the other enough to bring the situation to a cliffhanger. After a heart-pounding standoff with the arrow aimed at her head, Mei saw the opening she needed to end the battle. Slipping in, she brought up her fist in a mighty uppercut, much like the ones she had seen in some fighting videogames once. With her strenght behind the blow, it was a powerful maneuver, strong enough to send Hannah upwards a few feet before she landed on the ground. The battle was over.

Now, there was the small matter of removing the arrows embedded in her body. Despite the bloodless nature of the holes punctured in her skin, the arrows had to be taken out. With a deep breath, Mei grabbed the first arrow and jerked it off. It was a nasty experience to say the least. Still, she went through all the arrows on her naked form in turn, suffering through the whole ordeal stoicly. Once she was free of the shafts, the fighter took up the mage's unconscious form and held her in her lap, sinking down against a wall to wait for her recovery.

Hannah stayed unconscious for a while, though halfway through she started to make quiet snoring sounds. When she finally woke up she looked up at Mei-Lien with an ashamed sort of look on her face and muttered "I'm... sorry... I almost... I almost killed you there..." She seemed to go about the process of healing Mei-Lien's wounds, and then her own. With that done she finally sat up from the redhead's lap, stretching after her relatively long involuntary nap.

Somehow Mei had been expecting this when Hannah came to. "Don't mind that. Was the reverse last time, with me smacking you around..." she replied, letting the mage do her healing thing. With both of them alright, it was time to move onwards and follow the path to the next possible door or somesuch.

With a slight nod of acknowledgment, Hannah followed Mei-Lien out of the room and down the hall a bit, to the next door. Inside they found an enormous monstrosity, a giant golem made of bizarre stone-like flesh. It eyed them curiously before moving towards them, lifting a huge hand to strike.

Even with her not being too mindful about her nakedness, being nude was beginning to get on Mei's nerves. It was somewhat chilly in the castle, and she was not liking it. Behind the next door, there was no clothing to be found though, at least not immidiately. There was a creature that looked like it was made from stone waiting for them, looking at the duo curiously before a huge arm was raised to strike. Despite the constant fights, this one got Mei's spirit up. Such a huge creature was something she had wanted to fight with. "Right, let's go!" she thought, seeking to evade and strike to see how the stone-flesh reacted to her attacks.

"Don't try to kick it" Hannah said as she created her fiery arrows, "it'd probably hurt your foot more than it. Unless it's warded, your punches and these arrows should hurt it though." Mei-Lien took the advice, running forward and landing a punch on the golem's knee as Hannah let loose her arrows. It seemed to have an effect, though one of Hannah's arrows simply disappeared in front of the golem instead of hitting it. "It has a ward, but not too strong! Be careful!" the mage called out, though perhaps a bit too late, since the golem managed to slap Mei-Lien hard with a giant, rocky hand. She skidded back too far to counterattack, though Hannah's next barrage of arrows kept the golem from pressing its advantage. Having recovered from the blow, Mei-Lien rushed forward and landed another punch, gracefully jumping out of the way of the next attack. This was going quite well, but something seemed to happen; there was a strange noise from inside the golem, and it seemed to get a little faster.

"Right!" Mei called back to Hannah, taking her advice and using only fists to attack this construct. After landing a blow of her own and seeing Hannah connect too, the fighter was subjected to a mighty slap, which she had to take. Shielding her face with her arms, she was soon back on the attack after the momentum had vanished and she was able to move with her own body in control. Another fist cracked the rocky hide slightly, and the follow-up attack jumped over by the nimble redhead. Despite the alarming noises, Mei kept on the attack. This was a creature she wanted to level with her fists.
