Mei-Lien (Guan Yu)

Re: Mei-Lien (KakkaHousu)

Hannah didn't say anything in reply, and the three of them focused on sleeping, quickly drifting off one after another. When Mei-Lien woke up Hannah was still snoring, though hilariously enough she had rolled off of her spot on the edge of the bed and onto the floor; Jenn was nowhere to be seen.

Re: Mei-Lien (KakkaHousu)

Perhaps not surprisingly Hannah was without a reply, and the trio of girls soon fell asleep on the shared bed.

Once the awake world was there again, Mei found herself facing a somewhat silly sight of the mage on the floor. "She sure can sleep.." the redhead though, moving onto a sitting position on the edge of the bed as Jenn was not there to impend her. She set her foot on the mage's shoulder and started nudging her. "Get up snores. You're in a bad place there, share this bed with me for a while, I'm still somewhat sleepy..." Mei said, leaning herself back down into the bed for a short period of time.

Once she had taken in some further rest, Mei moved out to dress and exercise.

Re: Mei-Lien (KakkaHousu)

"Ugh... how did I get down here?" Hannah muttered when Mei-Lien had nudged her awake. "My back is killing me." She climbed up into bed next to Mei-Lien, resting for about half an hour more before the redhead felt a little more refreshed and ready, getting up to dress and do her exercises. Hannah followed her, doing the exercises along with the fighter a little bit of grumbling about the state her back was in later.

Re: Mei-Lien (KakkaHousu)

With her routines done, Mei wiped the few beads of sweat that had formed on her brow. Despite the mage's grumbles, she had driven them through the exercise. She wondered where Jenn had slipped away to, and moved to sit on a chair to wait for the wolfgirl. They should probably eat or at least say goodbye before leaving for the shrouded item and the possible next adventure.

Re: Mei-Lien (KakkaHousu)

Hannah bent over and breathed heavily for a little bit, having pushed herself to keep up with Mei-Lien this time. They made their way to the front room, having a seat and waiting on Jenn. It took the wolfgirl a while to return, and when she did she had a large platter full of what looked vaguely like sausage mixed in with eggs. "Good morning, you two. I thought I'd make you something a little special for breakfast today, and send you off with a good meal in your bellies" she said, separating it out into three heaping plates and starting in on her own.

Re: Mei-Lien (KakkaHousu)

"Well morning to you as well." Mei replied, looking at the ridiculous pile of foodstuffs with wondering expression. "Does she always eat this much...?" were her thoughts about it and the person who had brought it in. If that was the case, Jenn must exercise as heavily as the redhead did, as she didn't have any fatness about her. Once part of the pile was offered to her, Mei set upon it with determination. She was not sure if she could eat the entire thing, and surely didn't agree to take Hannah's afterwards. Her own heap was likely more than enough

Re: Mei-Lien (KakkaHousu)

Jenn ate slowly and steadily, finishing her portion some time after Mei-Lien and Hannah had given up on their own. When she was done she sat back and sighed happily, patting her belly. "That was good. Meat with breakfast is a rare treat. Almost as rare as a kind visitor. I suppose you'll be leaving now, then? You probably haven't got much reason to stay, and all sorts of things to do outside."

Re: Mei-Lien (KakkaHousu)

"Does she have a black hole in her stomach or something?" Mei was amazed by the wolfgirl's prodigious appetite. She and Hannah couldn't get theirs finished, while Jenn gobbled every down without too much sweat.

After having finished eating, the two of them let the food settle down. Once she felt good enough, the redhead rose up from her chair as the wolfgirl addressed them. "We really don't. This is goodbye for now. Maybe we'll meet some time, who knows" were the fighter's words at Jenn, before preparing to make way towards the beginning and the shrouded object that had puzzled them since the start.

Re: Mei-Lien (KakkaHousu)

"Alright. Good luck in your travels. And do stop by again if you get the chance and the inclination, I'm always looking for the chance to sharpen my claws, and the excuse to eat well. And have a little fun too" Jenn replied, getting up and seeing the two adventurers to the door, a little wink accompanying the last bit, and when they were about to leave she suddenly gave Mei-Lien a hug and a quick kiss if the redhead allowed it, provoking a slight blush out of Hannah. That done she waved and said her last goodbye, seeing the two out the door. Hannah silently led the way towards the room near the front of the building, where they had encountered the magically shrouded item.

Re: Mei-Lien (KakkaHousu)

As the pair was heading for the door, Jenn decided to do one last attack on Mei, glomping her and even planting a quick kiss. While she didn't go against it, the fighter did give the wolfgirl a slight remark. "A little less of that thank you. The magician over there will get jealous again." she said as Hannah developed yet another blush.

Since Hannah was getting quiet, Mei decided to tease her more along the way. "You're still jealous..." she said, poking at the mage during the walk towards the room.

As the two walked through the building, Mei-Lien continued to tease Hannah, poking and taunting the young mage along the way. At first she didn't respond, but finally she stopped in place and turned to face Mei-Lien, clenching her fists and saying "yes, I am. What about it?"

Re: Mei-Lien (KakkaHousu)

"Finally got her to admit it..." the fighter thought as she was faced by Hannah, who seemed to be ever so slightly furious at her. Holding back the smirk, she decided to adress the mage back. "Nothing. Just wondering about your choices..." Mei told her, not sure why this rich girl had such an interest in a skilled ruffian like herself. Unless Hannah had more to say, she'd continue leading them on.

Re: Mei-Lien (KakkaHousu)

"What's that supposed to mean? And please... Just stop teasing me" Hannah sputtered out, unclenching her fists and looking away.

Re: Mei-Lien (KakkaHousu)

It looked like she had scored one over the mage as th other girl dropped the subject. "Well alright..." Mei replied, leading them onwards.

Re: Mei-Lien (KakkaHousu)

Hannah followed a little bit behind Mei-Lien as they resumed their walk to the room with the magically shrouded item. When they got there she looked around and quickly walked over to one side of the room, picking up something that Mei-Lien still couldn't see. "Hmm... I'm not sure what this is. Or at least, why someone would go to the effort to hide it. Let's go outside so you can see it" she said, walking out the door. When Mei-Lien joined her in the hallway she could see that the object looked to be a simple blue length of ribbon. There was no popup indicating what it did, but somehow she could sense that it would do something.

Re: Mei-Lien (KakkaHousu)

The two of them entered the magic-covered room shortly, starting up the one-sided investigation of the room. "She got back on her feet in no time, let's hope it stays that way..." the fighter thought after seeing Hannah withdraw from the searching quickly afterwards. The thing she had found under the magical haze looked like a simple lenght of ribbon. "Well that's a bit of a letdown..." she admitted upon seeing the thing, not quite sure about it's abilities. Maybe those would reveal themselves with additional time and conditions.

"Hmm..." Hannah muttered, lost in thought for a moment. Then suddenly she tossed the ribbon up into the air and shot a fireball at it; the thing was engulfed in flames for only a moment, and came out without a scratch or burn on it. "Okay, I think I know what this is. It's been enchanted to protect whoever wears it from magical attacks. You want it?" she asked, holding it out to Mei-Lien.

Re: Mei-Lien (KakkaHousu)

Once Hannah had tested her hunch, it turned out that the ribbon/bandanna/strip of cloth possessed somewhat formidable power within it's simple appearance. "I suppose I could." Mei replied as she took the item, not quite sure where to set it upon herself. At one point, she could wrap it around her head like a bandanna, while it could alternatively be set in her hair like a bow.

Re: Mei-Lien (KakkaHousu)

"Alright, hold still a second" Hannah said, moving to tie the ribbon into a bow on Mei-Lien's long red hair. When she was done she stood back, admiring her work for a moment. "Looks good on you. So what now? Go back to town?"

Re: Mei-Lien (KakkaHousu)

"Looks a bit girly to me but I'll take it." the fighter commented upon seeing this newfound accessory. It was a fair exchange in her mind, some of her tough-looking exterior for increased protection.

"That's probably the thing to go with, not much left in here to do or see." Mei expressed her opinion about their current situation.
