I too salute all of those who fell in battle and tip my glass to them for their bravery and heroism. For their deeds in life, they shall never be forgotten by those that yet live, nor should they be.
Hail the glorious dead.
(I myself see this as a day to go to my grandfather's grave, because today is his birthday as well as a salute to his service in the navy during WW2.)
