There's something I recommend anyone should do before playing this game.
Go into the settings(設定) menu and find Lock-on mode(ロックオンモード). The options are:
- オート(auto - nearby enemies are automatically targetted)
- スイッチ(switch - press to enable targeting, press again to cancel)
- ホールド(hold - enemies are targeted while you are holding the button)
You do NOT want the default auto setting. Your character will automatically target enemies at inconvenient moments just to screw with you.
Set it to switch or hold, then go into the keyboard remapping menu(キーボード・マウス配置変更) and change Lock-on(ロックオン, default: e) to your middle mouse button.
Ougi(奥義) is middle mouse by default, so you also need to change that to a convenient key (e.g. left ctrl).
This makes fighting much more controllable. Your character will always attack in the direction that you tell them to unless you specifically use the lock-on button to target an enemy.
