Staying on the offensive, Mino managed to land the the tip of her dangerous new spear in the center of the sphere, causing severe damage to several of the many many arms, and causing a deep gouge in the eye resting in it's center, causing it to recoil, its grip slackening but not releasing even as Rolas scored another hit as well, screaming furiously as another bolt of bright blue flame exploded in it's center. The Sphere was starting to look badly damaged, but still dangerous on it's own.

Sadly this time the sphere was ready, actually closing to shrug off Mino's blow, only a small hole showing where the two tendrils that already had them shackled open at all, and then Rolas' spell backfired, making her yelp and wince as the blue flame singed her. In response, the Sphere suddenly lashed out, the powerful arms reaching out to collar both of them, tightening painfully around their necks as it started to reel them in again.

They couldn't hit it, not as bound as they were as they were dragged closer and closer to what they both knew was a hopeless situation if they were caught, literally being reeled in by their throats until they were but a foot away, and then the sphere did something very stupid, It lowered it's defenses to try and add a third shackle, only for both women to attack, the spear thrust and flames striking the same spot and almost destroying the Sphere outright. It was on it's last legs, they both knew it.

Managing to take advantage of a opening in the spheres defense as it was dragging the two closer, Mino and Rolas managed to get solid hits in, they knew it was going to go down soon, and Mino thrust into it again with her spear.

With one final thrust, Mino destroyed the Sphere's core, the shackles releasing as the creature went limp. Mino's blood pounded in her ears with the thrill of her victory, and 2 doors opened, one to the left, and one to the right. Even Rolas was grinning ear to ear, applauding Mino's ability with a spear. "Bloody well done! We may get out of this pit yet!" she cried happily, looking at the two doors, waiting for Mino's decision.

Mino found, off all things, an entire rack of her favourite jumpers in a variety of different colours as well as the soft leather outfit she had been wearing before becoming a plant woman.
