Like I said, I may be the black sheep here. I'm out here aggressively vouching for struggle mechanics and progressive-lewding animations.
But I've got a handful of crowds against my desires.
The "Button mashing is so blaze`, we want QTE sequences, rhythm-game, and weird puzzle-style struggle mechanics" crowd.
The "We're completely fine with non-animated, frame-by-frame slideshows because good art is more valuable than portrayal of motion." crowd.
And the "RoR games are old hat, we want another cookie-cutter uncanny-valley 3D graphics game with crappy dialogue and clunky mechanics" crowd.
While everyone else was drooling over those primordial "click a few things and see hentai" meet-n-fuck games, and girl-trapped/asleep-while-you-fondle-her simulators, I was studying the ways of the demon girl, wading through the swamps of toonpimp, and occasionally relaxing at the koonsoft oasis. RoR games were my bread n' butter, but now, they've become practically retro, and finding good fresh ones can be a bit difficult.
So here I be, barking at the moon whenever I see a game that came close to being something I like, stray from it.
