Re: MoGi:Origins - Public Demo Updated

Did you download the XP version?
Yes, though I fixed the problem. Turns out my system was missing an update or two and causing the problem. Either that, or I messed with something and got it to work... Though, now I got the white abyss as that Moonblack person previously...

Re: MoGi:Origins - Public Demo Updated

Do not misunderstand me but after asked for donations and have been working a long time. It's a little embarrassing result. The art is childish, the animations are rough, and it seems that there are also some problems in programming / compatibility.

Virgin Invader is was better (no spam) I mean, he works alone and do everything really fast, the game looks gorgeous, the playability is great and the creator never asked for money what is a shame if you ask me.

Re: MoGi:Origins - Public Demo Updated

My biggest problem with the game so far is that the main character feels so bland... I guess the main character isn't or shouldn't be the focus anyway since this is a porn game. I suppose the main focus is the female enemies which I think they do an alright job with. But the art style isn't for everyone I mean I like it but I can see how it may come off as childish. Either way I am looking forward to this game. Has it been stated how much it is going to cost?

Holy shit that's weird!? I guess I should take down the XP version... well temporarily anyways till I fix it....

And done. I think it should work better for you now.
Good news: Saving works now.

Bad news: Some of the graphics are STILL missing, making it hard to progress (I couldn't even tell where the guard that opens the door to the farm is). I've attached some screenshots - one from the old demo (which I still have), one is from the new demo, and one is the pumpkin rape.

That game was made in regular GM8 I believe which was made on XP or 7? I don't remember which. Anywho, because of that it has higher compatibility with the downside of no memory management capabilities. Basically if he wants to make the game really large, he'll have issues. Heck, this whitespace thing is probably studio having the same issues.

Asking for money...
You know that wasn't an easy decision to make on our part. As developers we were both in a really bad place when this started with MoGi as a side project to everything else we were doing. The crazy amount of support we got surprised us more than you think.

All of my problems arent solved btw. We had issues with paypal recently and that's an even bigger issue than you might even imagine.

Bland eh. I thought he was kind of funny. The price isn't set in stone yet because there's still more work to do but we're aiming for $12.

any answer for that?
Neko is in the demo.

To the right of the house with the 3 story house with the save point is another building with a closed shutter at the roof of the building. That is what the key is for.

I played the demo to the end. Catgirls.

From sources I wish not to discuss, this game is a small improvement from the version I ninja'd. The inclusion of the catgirls is a nice touch. I also enjoyed the fact that if you don't get captured, you can get right back up.

My gripe is that the knockback is arbitrary. The lake is not a very inhabitable place for gaming. I suggest a gimmick other than instant death. Probably a mermaid or something?

The layout of the demo is arbitrary as well. I suggest lessening the amount of "You have to unlock the way back" events. I have found one near Lucy that is easily jumped over without any prior knowledge it is even there.

All in all, I will look at this "Payza" thing. I am scared but I will consider the affordable version of the beta. I have been wanting to do this for a while.

I don't know if I will get it Guru Style, since I want to support this game. Vic A. is a good artist. Albeit a sub-optimal 3D artist.

Doublepost

I cannot seem to payza this either if I even tried. The box demanded VISA. VISA is not the kind of company I have. It is a different credit company.

I wonder if there is a way to pay without being locked to VISA.

Well I mean the situations he gets put in has some humor yes, as well as what he says at times sure. But to me the way he does look pretty bland.

Around $12?

That sounds very reasonable from what this game is giving so far. When it comes out this might be one of the few H-games that I buy first rather than [YYARRRRRHHH] it first.

Thank you for your time.

Oh you mean physically he's bland. Actually that's a design decision that we made. Having a protagonist that's too distinct has its disadvantages.

It'll resonate more with certain people and a lot less with other people.

Like for instance, a lot of people resonate with Mugen from samurai champloo. He's a very distinct character, but to others, the design is such a turn-off they can't focus on the show.

Having a more physically average protagonist ensure's that it wont be an instant turn-off for a lot of people.

To most people the game's only a turn-off because they don't see a lot of MaleDom actions or because they don't like a slightly more western approach to the character designs.

Also.
I am trying to characterize Voms, especially since I'm a big fan of VNs, but Veins doesn't like superfluous text so I've been keeping the conversations a bit short. It'll take a while for Voms's personality to sink in so be patient with us until then.

I suppose I can see that yeah, seems like a pretty smart idea. I forget I am not playing a Japan oriented H-game. [super big awesome hair and whatnot]

Well it will be interesting to see it play out.

Also to be a little more clear, when I said it was my biggest problem, I didn't mean that it was that big a deal to me. Just that is was the only problem I really saw with the game. To be honest I am staring at the women characters 90% of the time anyway... So it doesn't really bother me all that much that his appearance is bland.

I know you are probably tired of this question, but is there any estimate at all for a release? I could not find any information on the blog.

Sorry. We do not have a release date at this time.
Original release date was June 2014. They completed one level.
On the at the very bottom we have, "Why is June the date for everything?"
That's been there since b4 the crowdfunding finished.

We finished more than one level as well.
