This is a java 8 game (but there is an exe version for Windows) and you can find the latest release from my wordpress :

Game is called "Naohr, Meet The Kinky Family" as it is the first chapter of the game taking place in Naohr, a Fantasy world where monsters and humanoids live (sometimes peacefully) with each other.
It will focus on the sex worker profession and let you be one of them.
You will start as a whore, working in a dull brothel and slowly climb the sex ladder. You might end up dominating people as a Dominatrix or influencing the mighty as a Courtesan.
Or you might just fall, becoming a complete slut or slave, doing anything to please your masters…
That's up to you!

Basically you slightly customize an avatar before starting a new life in the city of Naohr. You can wander around, work (which will be central), buy stuff, consume some drugs, develop your skills and try to become the best whore in town. If you get bore with your sex activities, you can take recreational jobs such as Farmer or Baker (but expect some sex too!)

For the next releases, I am focusing on the slave profession, which lets you find yourself a nice master or institution. There will be two paths : depravity (lot of non consent) and servitude and you can expect to do chores and please your masters.

Great game, so far!

I really like the variety of content and how you use reusable scenes. I also like the character creation process in the beginning!

I can't wait to see what outfits you add to the game. I also look forward to the new areas that will open up in the map!

My only suggestion would be:

1. In the UI, I would probably display the attribute names "Stamina, Strength, Resilience, etc" in addition to the icons. The reason is, I can see the options during scenes modify your stats, but I can't tell what stats I'm trying to increase or reduce, because there are too many stats for me to remember. But, if I can see what stats are high or low for me, then I would know better which option I want to take. I would also show the numerical value in addition to the bar. If I hover over each stat individually, it takes me about 15 seconds. But, if you display the name and number, I can tell what they are in a 1 second glance. =)
2. I think this game would benefit a lot from non-H pictures. Like, in the main screen, where you can choose "Go Work" and "Home" and "explore", if there was a picture of your apartment, I think it would add a lot of polish to your game. Also, the Divine Square, the Red Light District and the Market all share the same screen. If they had their individual pictures, it would add a lot of character to areas that the player will often visit.
3. I might have missed it, but I couldn't tell how much my rent will be, when I was sent to my apartment from the immigration office. I'm also not sure how often it will be collected. Could you please add that information to the main screen?
4. This is just my preference, but I think it would be really cool to have a "counters" board, where you can see things like "Worked as a whore X times." or "Sucked off a male customer Y times." Not everyone cares for that stuff, but I certainly love it! I think it would be an excellent addition to a game about working as a whore, a ruthless business about selling your very soul for money.

Lastly, I think I came across one error. I went from the market (first place on the map), and then into the Divine Square. Then, I alt-tabbed, and then went back to the game, the controls all disappeared. =(

About the abuse, I don't think you have to go into rape apology for it. I mean, playing Call of Duty or Grand Theft Auto does not apologize for murder, right?

For my game, I'm thinking about starting with the player willingly letting the priest slap her. Later on, it might escalate to stuff like asphyxiation and bondage (which isn't really my thing, to be honest). Afterwards, it can get really bad, to things like cutting and pain, even broken bones.

But the thing is, abuse isn't about pain. It's about control. It's about having power over someone, and them feeling helpless. Humiliation is a bigger part of it than pain is, because humility is knowing you are smaller than something else. You can be abusive without physical attacks, through verbal insults and threats. A form of abuse might be the boss cumming inside the player, and ordering her to work the rest of the day, with his cum sloshing around inside her pussy. In my game, it's not the slapping itself that's abuse. She's already being attacked by armed guards elsewhere. The abuse is that if she does not put up with the slaps, she will not get her equipment repaired.

And, you don't have to apologize for it. You are not saying it is a good thing. You're not celebrating it. You're actually saying that it is the bad things you have to put up with to get paid in the end of the day or to reach your goals. Just depicting something does not condone it. In fact, it highlights a problem, which is a good thing to do. If you are saying, "these are the horrible things that sex workers go through", you're making a very valid point, I think!

EDIT: But, I think it also depends on what tone you want to have for your game. It's important to have a consistent tone in your game, because then if a person wants that kind of a game, they know they can play your game. If your game has mixed tone, then even if the player wants a certain tone, romantic for example, then they wouldn't be sure if your game will give that or not. If you want to have a light hearted or comedic tone to your game, then abuse probably shouldn't go further than spanking or using a dildo on some lady. But, if you want to give your game a grim, sincere, dark tone, you might include harsh violance, going as far as castration.

I was afraid it would make the ui too heavy but I will try and see how it feels.

I agree, it would add a lot to the game. I have trouble finding free pictures, or getting answer from artists on that matter.

The alt-tabbed is not a bug but is... a poor feature. I wanted an easy way to hide UI so that player can look at the pictures. To enable it again after alt-tab, you just need to press the alt button again.

I see your point. I would just add that what is lacking, and what I am fearing is to add abuse situations without the "these are the horrible things that sex workers go through". It would be a simple fapping material.

That's definitively true about the tone. My game is not really serious nor dark, at least from this perspective there won't be anything too serious !

I really can't say the game is bad since I never played it long enough to see everything. But if it still matters, I'd like to give opinions on what I've gotten so far.

Let's see, the scrolling text doesn't quite respond with the use of the mouse wheel so I had to use the full text view.

A few of the terms were quite deep. When I saw "corpulence", I had to stop and look at the dictionary for its meaning. Even though I had a hunch it meant the player's body build, I just wanted to be sure and I was right.

When I selected to play as a male, I took a quick glance at my inventory and actually giggled at my equipment: a wool bra...for a man. No, I'm not sarcastic, but it did make my day. It's of no consequence for it to be like that, but if you're aiming for realism, you may need to check on that.

The takeaway for me was the controls. When I accessed the inventory, I couldn't find a way to return to the menu screen and had to close the game. I didn't play any further from there because I only wanted to see what it was.

It does remind me of Jack-o-Nine-Tails, though, which is among my favorite games of all time.

I had some issues when I switched the component rendering the text, I still need to figure out how to fix that!

That's strange. What is your screen size if I may ask? Release of the day fixes a too small inventory screen (buttons to leave were not displayed with a 600*800 screen...)

On the menu for this week you will be able to get two new skills which should greatly ease the persuasion mini-game (you can find them in the trait view under the "General" tab), two items that increase beauty and charisma and the Symposium quest (done to 60%) that should simplify the "implicit" Symposium quest. I also fixed the scrolling issue on large text, some highlight focus on in-game messaging popup and some trouble saving the settings.
Like previous weeks, I dedicated my time implementing the Slave extension. It will be more than just a profession with few special actions and traits. The data infrastructure and the core restriction mechanism are implemented in their first version. For the moment the PC can become a slave after a special event but that's hidden for now as there is no gameplay. The restrictions will be applied on the inventory (dress code & consumables), the room (decoration), the money usage and supervised trip. Hopefully next week there will be a very simple version to show!

New locations : basement, main floor, canteen with dedicated events.
New NPCs : Jahiem (kinky stuff), Carol and Sebeett (kinky stuff).
New relationship mechanism, new food mechanism.
Now, as a slave you have content from 8AM to 2PM.
Sylvian road : new events.
Finished quests' implementation for Symposium (hetero sigil, gay sigil, hetero female partner and hetero male partner)

Upcoming : doing afternoon events, adding quests for morning events.
