Lola shrugged off Mithra's apology, and even though her expression was fairly grim, the woman rolled her eyes at Mithra's request for aid. "I can't do much of anything to help. Sorry. And yeah, we probably ought to have stayed in the cave for the night, rather than come out here to wander through the darkness. Most of those girls who ran off will have frozen to death by morning, if they're lucky. There are worse things that creep through these woods than wolves and bears at night." She knelt back down to Sera without another word, and Delilah silently joined her, working her magic to heal the unconscious elven woman.

After a few moments, Sera was back on her feet, and Mithra had marked off the places where she thought the wolves had gone with arrows carved in the snow. There were six different trails for her to follow, one of which was bloody. Of their group, only she and Sera could track, and unless she wanted to go off on her own, any attempt at stealth would be fairly wasted. What's more, attempting to sneak up on the wolves would slow her tracking down greatly.

Mithra move to one of not wounded trials, the one with more human footprints, maybe she could find the others wolves in a lucky strike. Mithra tracks the wolf for 19 turns worth of time.

Leaving on her own after delivering her instructions to her allies, Mithra follows the tracks of one of the wolves off into the darkness. It was almost impossible for her to see, even with her magically enhanced sight. As such, her tracking took far longer than she would have liked, and she felt her energies dwindling once more as she trailed the path, which joined with several others along the way, until Mithra finally found herself looking into a dark hole in the earth. The sounds of lewd female moans and the growls and barks of wolves came from within, and she realized that she had found the beast's den. The hole was too small for her to be able to fight in with any degree of effectiveness, particularly in the dark, but that was where she would have to go if she wanted to save the women she had lost. well, at least as i still dont recovered the hp, it means that one of them is still hurt by the owl attack

The search was taking so much time and it was like the monsters had banished from the Earth itself, but then in maybe a strike of luck the elf found the den. Her spirit was tired and maybe her spells will drain her in only a few minutes, so she decide to turn off one of them (all sigh) and wonder herself how she could make the creatures to leave the den.

Certainly they were so focused in rape their victims that they will maybe dont pay attention to another victim and if she cast a fire they could maybe have another exit to leave the den. Soon the lewds moans coming from the cave make her choice the worse choice for her and moved as stealthy possible as she could, the elf crawl through the hole expecting that at least she had the upper hand to detect them first, as they were maybe unnable to see like she can with her spell and have all their attention in rape their victims.

While in close quarters like this, Mithra is taking a -20 penalty to attack and dodge and moves at 1/2 her Speed. Getting into a corner where she can't be flanked from will lessen the penalties to 10 each, but will take a turn of movement. She will only take the -10 penalty on any attacks in that turn though.

Deactivating her costly spell, Mithra proceeded into the den of wolves, the shapely elf slowly crawling on her hands and knees as she proceeded toward the sounds emanating from within. She quickly proceeded into a slightly larger chamber, though she still wouldn't even be able to kneel, much less stand. She had found the wolves. Unfortunately, they didn't seem to have missed her coming in through the only entrance into their burrow, magic or no magic.

Luckily, most of the beasts seemed fairly occupied, as they humped away at the girls that had been taken. There were seven in all, so some of the creatures must have found some of the ones that had run off into the wolves. There were also far more of the beasts than just those remaining from the ambush. Twelve of the beasts were in the den, as well as twelve or so cubs.

Two of the unoccupied wolves stood guard over the younger ones, growling menacingly, while three more immediately pounced at Mithra, tearing at her sides with their claws and teeth as they tried to repel the invader.

The welcome inside the hideout was not like the blonde swordswoman expected, she tried to get ready to fight, but three wolves bite her before she get ready, of course that it was a little painfull, but she will not try to move of the only exit, this time the elf will give all her effort to kill them all.

Now with the space to fight she get in a defense stance and held her sword with both hands. What a pest, all will die right here Said more to calm herself, these creatures had pissed her enought and this looks like the right moment to try a payback. Ready to counter attack them with a lighting stab rain, she had her left hand in a way to have a good balance, her muscles of her body were working together to make the next move a success.

The wolves who had mounted the girls all pulled out as Mithra adopted her defensive stance, likely preparing to jump in and fend off the invader... And add her to those that were already tearing at her. She was practically surrounded, but the first of the wolves to come at her was practically impaled as a trio of quick stabs into its exposed head and chest caused it to drop to the floor of the den, gurgling blood as it died.

The second beast was too quick for her, however, as it darted in and bit her, its teeth penetrating past her armor, before retreating just out of her reach. In the confusion, the third wolf to have attacked her slipped past her, ending up directly behind Mithra and tearing at her with its fangs as it went. The two wolves that had remained to guard their young suddenly darted forward, preventing Mithra from going for the one that had charged behind her. As before, the first was killed, but the second avoided her strikes to tear at her side.

Her armor was in tatters, and she bleeding from multiple, albeit shallow wounds. She was surrounded, and with five more wolves ready to join in the fray in addition to the five that were already attacking her, things were not looking well for Mithra.

Breathing hard, Mitra saw herself in another nearly lost battle, her eyes look around for a way to improve her chances to win or at least retreat, but she was in a dead end. Surrounded by many wolves and with her body nearly exposed, she nearly was ready to accept her defeat. But soon she notice a corner close her, the wolves maybe will purtsue her but it as her last chance.

She know that if only she would have a chance to go there, she would have taken that path, but these creatures certainly will end with her. She nearly could see herself being raped like the others women inside the cave, haing a lot of pups until her friend save them or she find a way to escape, if was possible escape of this cave in the future.

She shake her head and press her sword hild, if she will be defeated again, she at least will dont escape and instead she will resist with all her remaining strengh. With the best defensive stance, she prepare to doge and hit the wolf until they stop their attempts to beat her. It will take Mithra 2 turns to make it to the corner, and will not get there and lose the penalties she's taking until after her second turn.

She can't hit them, in other words.
There are 10 wolves, so I'm giving them a +20 bonus to attack for their numbers. That means they need a 14 or higher to hit you.

Mithra has been defeated!
She gains enough corruption to earn herself mutations until she becomes Warped, and then has 0 corruption. I think that's only 1 mutation though.
She also loses her armor and all of her items and equipment, but gains 6 experience.

The wolves all growled threateningly as Mithra started edging toward the corner of their den, the beasts surrounding her and darting in to strike her. Trying to fend off the numerous beasts with increasing desperation, Mithra's sword whirled about, jabbing repeatedly but ineffectually at each of the warped beasts that had surrounded her as they tried to rush in and nip at her nearly exposed body. The skilled elf couldn't hope to fend off so many on her own when she was surrounded, however, and one beast managed to get past her defenses and tear at her body, causing her armor to finally fall apart on her. Another of the beasts ripped into her now unprotected side, causing a deep gash to form. As she stood, her vision hazy from her numerous injuries, one final beast lunged forward and slammed into her chest. Mithra was knocked off of her feet and her head slammed into a wall. The last sight she had was of the mutated beasts closing in around her, their fangs barred.

She was still very weak, far from her fighting best, but she found that she could walk well enough, and her time with the wolves hadn't left any permanent damage on her. The place, despite being well furnished, was fairly empty. The shelves were bare but spotless, and the drawers of the small writing desk against the wall were empty besides some pens, ink and a few blank pieces of low quality paper.

As she was making her inspections, however, Mithra heard voices approaching, one male and one female. A few moments later, the door to her room opened, and a man stepped inside. He was an elf, like her, and wore square spectacles over his bright green eyes. "Greetings, Mithra. It is good to see you well." The man said, brushing a strand of his long brown hair away from his face. "Delilah and Sera are here, as are all of the other women that we found with you in the wolves den. They found their way here later in that night, but it took us a long time to find you. If it weren't for Lola, we never would have." He continued, and then stepped closer, holding his hands toward the door as if indicating that she should step through it.

"I can take you to them, if you like. And then, you can meet the lady of the house."

"Yes, many things have happened while you and your friends were away." The man explained as he led the blanket clad Mithra through a lavishly decorated hall. "Strange beings have invaded these lands, attacking Gods-Reach and Therion. The Lady of the house has offered sanctuary to those fleeing the battle, but we have not seen any refugees for several days. You were asleep for three days and nights following your rescue from the wolves, and we feared that you might not awaken." He continued, leading them past several closed doors. Low moans came from behind one of them, from a man and a woman as far as Mithra could tell, but her guide payed them no heed. The woman who had been with him fell into step behind Mithra silently, her garb that of a maid.

They went down a flight of stairs several floors until they reached the bottom, everything around them made of finely crafted and polished wood. Everything was well lit either by sunlight streaming in from outside or by Finally, Mithra was led into a great hall, in which a dozen long tables with countless chairs sat. At the far end of the room, a throne sat at the head of the largest table, and in that throne a woman sat.

She was tall for a woman, that much plain to see even though she was sitting. Long black hair hung from her head, and disappeared behind her back, from which a pair of raven black, feathered wings sprouted. Those wings were wrapped around and in front of her body, but as far as Mithra could tell they were the only thing that concealed the woman's body from view. Her skin was pale, almost deathly white, and her eyes were as black as her hair and the feathers on her angel wings. She was speaking to a woman in a blue robe, whom Mithra realized as she got closer was Delilah! The mage spotted her, and smiled as she saw Mithra, drawing the gaze of the black winged woman to her.

Smiling, Delilah came forward and hugged Mithra, saying; "Mithra! You're finally awake! It's good to see you up and about again." The woman who was apparently the lady of the house tilted her head slightly, her pitch black eyes widening as she smiled broadly and said; "This is Mithra, eh? Even when Mithra have a debt with the lady of the house and there were not any proof against her, soon her words about how Delilah and the others had decide to live her and forget their responsibilities was making that Mithra start to doubt about the safety of this place. Then Delilah words were just out of place. There was not a way that she expect that Mithra could just forget her family, her town and stay in this unknown mansion.

Mithra through get interrupted when the woman show her incredible beautiful body, so perfect as if she had a divine or celestial nature. Mithra certainly would had remain there stunned, watching the whole event. But thanks to her friend she was taken out of the room.

Hipnoptic...? nearly whisper the swordswoman, as she remember her misfortune first encounter with the Nightmare demon lord, also how that winged lady said that she was hungry just before she start to have a sex session with the butler. Mithra make a stop to her thoughts after Delilah ask her about what she want to do.

Of course that i want to go to see the others, but before that it will be better for me to get dressed, walking naked around the mansion is turning to a torture and about the food, well i can resist easily an hour more. She said with a smile, as she start to think that her friends had been brainwashed by that woman who was really sure a succubus. There was not doubt that she must act calmed and like if she dont suspect about this place, so she wait a moment to said her next question and after had walked a time she ask to her friend This place is really huge, it must be a really hard work to mantain it all clean. Do you help in the cleaning Delilah or do you made something more? Also, all decide to stay because this place could be attacked by monsters and any other creature?

"Ahhh, yes, clothes. I suppose you'll need some if you want to go outside. You'll probably get used to being naked most of the time if you decide to stay though, it's really not frowned on at all here. I was out for a bit, that's the only reason I'm dressed. Come on, this way." Delilah replied, and then turned and started down the hall. As she walked, she replied to Mithra's other questions and comments, seeming for all the world like herself save for some of the odd things that she said. "Yeah, the hall is really big, and the grounds are even bigger. Nah, I don't do any cleaning, I usually help out in keeping the mill running, or in keeping the animals taken care of. Sera seems to work a lot in the gardens, but I guess that girl we saved from that demon, Lola, decided to work as a maid instead. She said that she'd had experience in it."

Delilah opened a door into a fairly large storage room and said; "Here we are! You can pick out whatever you like." The room had many racks of clothing of various kinds, though most were in the Northern fashions and meant to ward off the cold. There was no armor of any kind, however, not even so much as a leather jerkin. As she picked out her clothing, Delilah continued; "Nothing has attacked the mansion so far, and the grounds are actually really safe. I've never been attacked by anything here.... That's really why I decided to stay. It's peaceful here."

The doubts about this place get increased by Delilah answers. Maybe her friend was not a saint, but she would never choicenot to walk naked when she could choice to wear something and this place was really luxury to dont have decent beautifull clothes.

The swordswoman continued just hearing all and thinking what could be happening with her friends. Soon both girls reach their destination and Mithra was in front of a huge quantity of clothes that she could wear, her eyes tried to find something usefull, but this clothes would dont defend her too much in a fight. Delilah just then said her reason to stay here and Mithra could not be more dissapointed of that. The elf was sure that there was not a single place than could be completely safe and turning their back to all to just try to live in a false dream was nothing more than a mistake. Her aventure in Artmist was proof of it, she still feel the remorse that she could had helped to avoid than this world get infested with demons.

Just when decide what to wear, she get an idea and turn to the mage trying to look ashamed. Maybe this sound fun after what we had passed together, but can i have a moment alone to dress myself, please? Dont worry, im just still a little afected by what happened to me in that cave... also im still a little worried by all the others girls who were traped with me, can i watch them later?

Mithra was expecting a yes from her friend, in that way when she ge alone, the elf could cast a buff on herself to then try a trap to try a spell on Delilah.

[use buff on Mithra (Touch of Chaos), then the mage will use the bed blanket and her stealth to wrap up the mage when this come inside, as Mithra will say her to come inside.

Then, the mage will be wraped and blind inside the blanket to notice Mithra next spell (Greater Dispel, Mithra in this moment will have 9+3(luck)+5(buff) to cast the magic) Finally wwhen all this end, the warrior will use the excuse that she was just playfully testing Delilah skills, in case a sudden attack, as the mage was easily taken off guard.]
