What's new

ACT [暁音] Nightmare Sphere

Man I didn't remember there's this brutal orc guy who just grab your head and belly punched you to death before crushing you with his hand, and I was playing in Lady difficulty o_O

Wait does anyone know if there are actual new stuff added in?
There isn't.

Lol, it's the animation I'm most familiar with because, for some reason, all this boss has them visible in the folder.
But I do seem to recall some bosses became a chore to watch the animations of because after you leveled up enough they started pulling some different animations.

is that true?
like the animations the bosses played were tied to your current level?

Bosses leveled up based on your current level, got different attacks etc. Which was an amazingly clever idea in an open world game with recycled bosses, really helped the variety.

Iirc they still did the same grab, but it could become more difficult to see sometimes, because they had more attacks and did it less frequently or fucked with their routine.
For example, this Orc started flying at a certain level, so getting the after-battle rape was much harder since he was always in mid air, and the octopus had that persistent balls attack that kept juggling you.
And, of course, as you leveled up, the monsters in Delfinum prison upgraded to their strongest selves.

There isn't.

Ah yes, really hate since I can hardly see the Octopus animations...

This Nightmare Sphere link works

This one doesn't

Does anyone have the Nightmare Sphere 0 link? Or is it lost media?

I never delete my smut games.

Such a pity this thing was abandoned so early.

Anyone else got a problem with NS1 and NS0 running very very slowly, not really lagging but more like the game is running in slow motion?
On Windows 10 btw.

Edit: Kurovadis runs fine

I opened NS1 recently and it had Powerpoint framerates.
I seem to vaguely recall that, back in the day, it had issues and you had to… run compatibility mode, I think? I *think* the music wouldn't work if you didn't do it.
That was ages ago, and the old, now-defunct PC though.

i'm on windows 10 and just checked, both games run fine
hmmm...
since in nightmare sphere 0 there's kind of a framerates counter how does that one look?
the one that is a number from 0 to... 60 i believe
should be a second if it's 60fps?
like how long does that take on your end
if it's taking longer than a second then i guess it's a framerate issue, that, maybe you could tamper with using framerate control software? like something that forces it to run at 60fps
i think there are programs that do that

The game crashed the moment my attack hit any other objects for me :(, though I suspect that the issue lies in the WINE I've been using (circa 2022 I think) instead. Post here anyway in hopes of receiving aid from some random Penguin wizard!

This is in topic and makes sense I swear! If I have the motivation for it maybe I'll edit in the stack trace later...
