I dont know how they expect to keep people playing this game, so much frustration leading to todays rant about this game...

I have a water card that i have leveled and would like to upgrade, i need 5 celestial crystals to do this though and have none. Today the limited quest is water upgrade materials from what i am led to understand the hard boss its what i have to do. It costs 10 stamina per battle and you get 3.3% progress so 31 battle buttons to hit 100% which means to fight the boss I have to use 310 stamina requiring 15.5 hours worth of stamina generation. There is a chance to get the crystals that i need from each battle button press. The boss drops multiple SSRs, can drop 3 2k+ stat cards in a turn, very difficult for someone with next to nothing to compete against.

15 hours of stamina
3 crystals out of the 31 button presses (i am okay with this)
4 attempts to kill the boss

Finally kill the boss and what is the reward

Getting the 10 stamina crystals to drop is pretty tough. Your best bet is to hope next event boss is a water type, since you'll get the crystals if it is. As for 3 crystals for 310 stamina, I'd say you're doing a lot better than me. I'm at around 250 and have found 0 today.

Yeah, pretty much that. This event alone left me with 30+ Dark Crystals. Last event left people with tons of red ones. Events are the best source for em. On the up side its likely that the next event will be water themed since I doubt they will go for opposites and make it a Light event. Means Green or Blue, so there.
But Crystals are one of the Lynchpins for upgrading, since EVERYTHING needs em. I could do wit a hand full of Light ones for example, my Sakuras are sitting at tier 2, and that makes sad panda sad.

I can't even think of upgrading it even if next event is Water. The SRs from events killed all my money and still want more to max. :(

Buuuuut I gotta finish upgrading Anteret first. I still don't even have the 85k for 2nd upgrade. :(

The game's messing with me again.

I too know the suffering of not having money. My Antaret is stuck at lvl 30 something and isn't even in my deck.

The money problem could easily be avoided if I could just farm normal stages instead of limited. If not for the need of so many brews/stones I probably could.

If that happens regularly, level that angel ASAP. Saved my ass twice already and I puled her yesterday. She can turn the early-mid game momentum around, ex. when you face 3 medium cards before you got to field a decent one. 2 books of awakening on her and she essentially IS flora.

Also, wouldn't it be a good idea to make losing in tournament somewhat profitable as well? for example, instead of the 1.3 or 1.4k GP you get for winning make it 500 for the first loss in one hour, 400 for the second, 350 for the third or something like that? Make it worth the try, but use diminishing returns to prevent people from simply throwing dozens of matches for free n easy gp?

Devs have hinted that Sunday daily is a money dungeon (bah), so there you go.

I got SIX light crystals in one hard daily run once (five during the run, one from the boss). That really helped to upgrade Flora. :p

If you're struggling to beat the hard mode boss though, it might be too early for you to think about second upgrades to begin with, idk. The only time I lost that much was during the second week, when I had just finished the first three or so story quests.

Problem would be drawing her.

As you can see here, almost 1/3 of my deck is 6 cost and less. Just the chances of drawing her are pretty low in the same situation.

P.S. I pray for wood event next personally because I need those crystals the most. :p

Edit- And now that I look at this, I realize I have the wrong Nadeko in my deck since it's not even the upgraded one.

Personally, I'd boot a natalie or jill for her and play one or two less 5 cost cards. But from the screenshot I posted you'll see that you have one of the nightmare Decks for me. RNG pretty much dictated I'd have a late game deck.

The issue is not having mats to upgrade her. She's not that great if you can't level her. :p

Just wait for the daily material dungeon to be wood? I do not remember what it was yesterday, today however is water. I might want to try to pay some attention to that because if it is in a fixed rotation it would be easy to figure out which was coming and when.

You have to keep in mind, I do the daily limiteds non stop, hence why i have no gold. Problem is I have TERRIBLE luck with them. On a bad day I can fight a boss up to 3 times and still not get a single crystal.

alright, had a match this morning where it stopped responding three times in the same turn on turn 4

on the third browser reload it said server error and and wouldn't reconnect me to the match, kicking to home menu (and again when I selected "start match".

I check back now and I've lost a point.

Here, I found an example of what you can use her on. Even this should be pretty doable, since you can buff her vs whatever 5th card they have, if they even have one.
