Fair point about the wood cards. Since they make up most of my low cost early/midgame backbone my chance to pull something terribad would be uncomfortably high. As for the face up/down question, I have not faced either card yet in arena, and I doubt that the AI would use it properly, as a side note. But I can't imagine it coming into play face down, that would push the ability firmly from "very powerful" to "fucking unfair".

Which I'm actually kind of fine with since dealing with a card with 3500 attack is difficult, let alone 3, especially when you only manage to draw one Decree since the rest were sent to the graveyard due to discard effects. At least a couple Books of Awakening along with Miyabi SMASH! worked, but that still required a fair amount of luck to pull off.

I see, good to know and hopefully stays that way. Was hoping AI only since I'd hate having to actually deal with that card against a player.

Last draw got me a dancer Tanya. Even if it's not an amazing card it's something I didn't have, yay.

Just rolled a Forsaken from the free normal gacha and thought that it's a great to describe my rolls from the limited gacha, heh. Just finished stage 16 and I think that'll be it for me for this event. I'll just try to get Rin and the stuff needed to upgrade Anteret and my other cards.

I got Fencer Mizuki from event gacha. Skill seems decent, but stats are really low for 9 cost card. At least starting stats.

Mizuki's stats are terrible for a 9 cost card. She maxes out at 1.4k/1.7k.
The ability is incredibly useful in late game though, since with her you can crack even the most powerful cards without much risk, and tank a full line of big hitters like Miyabi, Anteret and Sylvie, if it comes down to it. A few books of awakening can also transform her into something REALLY nasty. But yeah, her stats still suck ass.

I dont even think I will use Antaret. The wording on the card means that she could potentially pop two traps on a successful attack, but she is no different than any other girl to me in that aspect that I am going to pop a trap with pretty much any creature. Unless of course I am reading the card wrong in what it does. Just like Oniwaka from the last event, I just dont really care for the card or what it does. Antaret at least fits into the strategy of smash the opponent as hard as possible as fast as possible, so she might go at the top with the Solene I just got.

At least I can say I have a maxed out Yin & Yang Yuzuki now. After I finally got past level 10, I pretty much flew through 11 and 12 and used the gacha points to get a lot of fuel for the upgrading fires. Between all the gacha garbage and the R drops from the levels, I think I might consider going into a tournament this next time just to see how far off my deck is from what others are using.

The version of Anteret that drops isn't the same as the boss version. The one we get has a cheaper Occult Obliteration as a skill.

If you're the reckless type that just flips any trap without caring if you'll get burned by it, then... you should still use her, because her attack maxes at 2700. Can't think of many cards people will have that go that high.

Always have been and always will be. I just dont care what the opponent does because I am either going to blunt force them into oblivion or I am not. They can set all the traps they want and I will throw things into them over and over again and just not care all that much about it.

Now that I actually looked at the version of the card we get instead of thinking it was the version that the boss card was, it is far more useful than that boss version. If I can somehow get 2 decent cards out or at least get a way to protect it for a turn so it can turn on, Antaret would cause nothing but havoc to trap reliant players. Not quite like dropping a Jinzo down in yu-gi-oh, but this seems almost close enough.

Sylvie seems like she would fairly easily get up that high for attack value. But most of my other options are lesser costed cards that should do some work in the midgame to get me ahead enough to be able to trade off favorably later in the game to leverage the advantage I have at that stage in the game.

Just fought one, Hinoki's ability summons cards in face-up defense mode, so you can respond appropriately as you'll know what they just received.

Quest 19 done... Last onsen roll is... Cat Burglar Nina. Eh, I'll take it.

Quest 19 took 1000 stamina to clear. Quest 20... takes 1250. Urgh.

If it's not upgrade materials or XP cards, the only other options I can think of are:

-energy drinks (which seems highly counterintuitive to begin with)
-money (please no)
-gacha points (also pointless)
-tickets or R/HR cards?
-medals or EX cards?

Would be nice if this was actually a solution to my "make the useful HR cards more readily available to everyone" suggestion.

I'm assuming there'll be a tough boss at the end of this. Everyone makes fun of the AI in this game (myself included), but I actually enjoy facing the AI when it has some crazy cards to deal with. Phase two Anteret has been pretty fun for me. Even in the first week or two when everyone's decks were still starting out and people tried facing the hard mode versions of the daily boss. IMO, it was a pretty great feeling to conquer those obstacles with mostly low-leveled cards and a lot of luck.

Getting rekt on 17-5 boss hurts when everything before that was a cakewalk :(

5 onsen tickets, like 6k gacha points, that's all I remember.

I'm pretty sure its odd-numbered bosses: Onsen tickets. Even number bosses: SR exp.
