[Nutaku] Armor Blitz

Re: [Nutaku] Armor Blitz

Can't change leaders as far as I know, but I don't think there's actually a difference between them either other than their look.

You really just pick a leader so you could get the tanks they came with.

As for tips

I would need to know the discord's faq first to be able to give you some that aren't already covered. :p

There isn't much in there in terms of beginner tips. This is what they have:

What should I spend my starter Cores on?
-Typically, it's recommended to unlock up to 4 factory slots first. This is more of a long term investment and a reliable source of new tanks. You can get more free Cores from completing Missions.

Where do I get Candies from?
-Candies are obtained from completing map tiles (1/tile), Daily Missions (5/day), or Mandy's Wishing Wheel. Spend candies to boost tanks' relationship status. You can find the relationship screen in:
Army > Select a Unit > Tank Details > Relationship

How do I see and equip Emblems?
-Emblems are equippable items that tanks can hold 3 of. Open their inventory and see your collection at:
Army > Select a Unit > Tank Details > Items
You can upgrade items up to +15, to boost random substats.

What's the difference between Factory construction timers?
-Construction timers indicate the rarity of tank you obtained. The breakdown is as follows:
1-Star = 1 hour
2-Star = 2 hour
3-Star = 8 hour
4-Star = 24 hour
5-Star = 48 hour

How do I change the tank girl showing on the main menu?
That's your secretary tank, the first slot in your army. Whatever character is assigned there will always appear in your opening hand in combat too.

How do the formulas work in the game? Where can I find more detailed information?
-Check the comprehensive and evolving wiki page.
You can make contributions as well, do minor spelling edits, and contribute to the knowledge base!

And had I known the leaders only affected looks I'd definitely had picked the Soviet leader :O

Well, this is just my opinion, so I'm sure others will disagree.

My priority would be to aim for oil nodes ASAP. You should unlock the oil node on the way to Khorat immediately. After reaching that one, you can either slowly make your way to the oil node next to Cymric, or level up on other areas you haven't cleared and get resource nodes.

For starting setup, I personally go with the Super Pershing because 5*, 2 tank destroyers, and 1 heavy. The 5th slot will be up to you, I'd recommend it being a light with team buff, another heavy, or another medium tank though.

As for emblems, I recommend starting out with 1*s at first until you get further in the game. They're easy to find and really cheap to upgrade. Also 1*s are unique in a certain way.

When you upgrade a 1* emblem, it gains a random stat. So you can collect 1* emblems of a specific stat you want, and upgrade them to +1 and see if the bonus stat is what you want. If you're going to use higher emblems, I'd recommend 3* or higher since they can possibly give you better stats than your upgraded 1*s. 2*s would require upgrades and are about 4x the cost the upgrade compared to the 1*s.

However, there's a problem with higher rarity emblems. They come with multiple bonuses, but when you upgrade the emblems, they choose one bonus at random to improve slightly. So if you have a useless stat on one of your high rarity emblems, you could end up getting multiple upgrades to only the useless stat and the useful stats never getting anything. Whereas on a 1*, you just have to +1 them until you get one with a bonus stat you like, and every upgrade will be that bonus stat.

Oh, and try to have tanks building at all times, as well as parties scouting of course. :p

Re: [Nutaku] Armor Blitz

^ About the Oil nodes, I thought as much. Rushed the one near Khorat before farming Ankora to unlock scout spots like RichInsanity suggested. Now about scouting: I suppose when a unit has an inventory full of items that would be the best time to recall them, right? Or would it be better to just let them keep scouting? I just recalled some units who had their inventory full.

Yeah I usually recall if they're full on emblems since I've gotten to the point where my whole purpose of scouting is trying to get those elusive 5*s. :p

Plus you want to recall them early so you don't have gold penalties from them accidentally dying.

Edit: Just remembered another tip

If you lose a battle, just refresh without progressing the screen and all tanks that died will still be alive. You still lose the oil, but you won't have to wait for repairs.

Factory gave me an Erika the Elfant yesterday, an TD.

She's now level 8 but she's just as strong as my two level 20+ Tds already.

I went past the Laperm city. That's where I am now. Its starting to get quite difficult now xD

Re: [Nutaku] Armor Blitz

all 4 of my factory slots are building 4*

i hope at least one of them is j4

Re: [Nutaku] Armor Blitz

At what point can one get a 4th factory slot?

Re: [Nutaku] Armor Blitz

900 cores and having the third unlocked.

AFAIK there's no minimum progress level, but if you prereg'd and played normally I unlocked my 4th slot completely f2p just before reaching Laperm.

That said, it is likely not worth having 4 construction slots if you're just starting out; you cannot support 4 construction slots on 1 city, 2 mines and 2 scouts that drop dead in < 2h.

For me: I have 5 cities, 6 mines, 4 scouting slots and 4 factory slots and I'm basically "going infinite". That is to say that I can run all 4 factory slots 24/7 as they are available and earn more coins/metal than I spend each day without doing a single battle/day.

Re: [Nutaku] Armor Blitz

One thing that would greatly enhance the player experience:
"replay mission"/"do it again" button to victory screen
Either that, or at least make map remember last position and show it every time you are sent on the map screen.

Having to drag it to your grinding spot every time is soo frustrating...

There must be some other restrictions then, because I have 900 cores but don't see the 4th factory as an option at all. I'm only at lvl 20, could it be that or something else? I also have not yet made it to Laperm yet...

Re: [Nutaku] Armor Blitz

You have to click and drag left on the factory screen to see the last two slots.

Re: [Nutaku] Armor Blitz

After a bit of playing I like it mostly.

Imo it's getting a bit stale though as there are not really any other strategies then deathballing with a heavy in front.

Lights, even with their buff aura are kinda pointless as they will die as they'll eventually end up in the front.

Similar arty isn't that useful as due their low attackspeed they'll often won't shoot at all as long as you're advancing because their aiming time is so long. And they attack stuff to the side that you'd want to just bypass, making them even slower in a push to the enemy boss.

Also, most units are just very similar to each other. The special abilities don't do that much at lower *-levels, making most fights pretty interchangeable.

Compared to my favorite game on Nutaku, Millenium War Aigis, unit variety and strategy is just too low.

What I personally would like to see is a change to light tanks to make them useful and more different skills added to all tanks to make them more interesting.

Light Tanks
Light tanks are usually scout tanks, you can't really use them as such as there is no scouting during battles and the Gears for summoning is better used on more durable tanks.

You could give each light tank an ability called retreat, using that they would turn around and when they reach your summoning line, they would refund their cost. (That would also give a reason for their skills to increase their speed even further. :p )

That way you could use them to pop enemy arty, concentrate Gears for a bigger summoning wave as retreating them would refund their cost, use them for a bit of stalling and they wouldn't die in each battle.

General Skills
Currently there is no way to manipulate the amount of gears you get (it's one each fixed tick) or the order that your tank appear in (besides the first few always guaranteed) as its random.

Maybe add skills to units that allow you to manipulate the order and cost of tanks during battle. Think like a card game with your 15 tanks.

Maybe a light tank could guarantee that the next tank would be a TD, maybe an ability that the next heavy you summon costs 2 Gears less. A medium tank could have the wulf pack ability, making the next tank to appear cost 1 less and be a medium too.

Summoning an artillery could give you one more charge for the bomb ability.

Some light tank could reduce the core cost of certain commander abilities by one.

Basically just abilities (passives) that shake how you do the battles up a bit so its not always, plop down a heavy and then some mediums and tds behind, wait for more gears to accumulate, add more to the deathball.

Let me use a few lights in the beginning to soften up the enemy while making my other tanks better/cheaper later on and then I'll finish it up by using arty in the end to replenish my commander abilities.

Just as an example. :D

Man everyone keeps saying Light Tanks are bad and all the 4* and 3*s I get from construct are light tanks. FeelsBadMan

the only people telling you light tanks are bad are morons.

dont just assume because someone tells you something it's true.

1~2 LTs with 4* rarity that has team buff skills are good force multipliers. More than that is not very effective.

Re: [Nutaku] Armor Blitz

I don't remember the maps before Laperm, but if you can keep going a bit further and make it outside of Maunis the very first ice map The White North - 1 is just straight to the boss with no mines or anything.

The map is level 32 though.

Finally got to this map, gonna be farming this one for awhile it seems. :)
Much easer then many of the ones just prior to it.

Re: [Nutaku] Armor Blitz

Finally received my Super Pershing a little while ago. Tank you very much, support team. :)

A couple questions for the devs:

Is there any chance of getting a standalone PC version (as in not browser-based)?

Also, is the Ratte in the game anywhere? :p

The 4* LTs actually good but needs emblems with +damage, else they are just a weak TD/mediums

Re: [Nutaku] Armor Blitz

Just got other 4* german TD from factories. This time its an JagdPZ4.

I remember the painful memories of this td in WOT. lol
