Just got other 4* german TD from factories. This time its an JagdPZ4.

I remember the painful memories of this td in WOT. lol

Next in the line JagdPanther wasn't good either.
Problem was that JPZ4 was such a torture wagon that JPanther actually "felt" decent. Though all fantasies quickly evaporated when one laid hands on same tier abominations like 122-44...
Even so, I guess I still miss the olden days.

Finally received my Super Pershing a little while ago. Tank you very much, support team. :)

A couple questions for the devs:

Is there any chance of getting a standalone PC version (as in not browser-based)?

Also, is the Ratte in the game anywhere? :p

A standalone PC version is something maybe far into the future.

The Ratte is not in the game yet.

I actually thought Jagdpanther was damn good. It has respectable amount of damage, great accuracy and penetration. Armor is good enough to get some bounces from the front plus its mantle is big enough to be hit accidentally bit more often which can save you sometimes. And I killed an forum moderator with it while he was invisible and i guessed his location correctly then shot him from across the map and he died earning me like 200 gold.

Jagdpz4's gun was very sad when you faced tier 8s. And had to work very hard to pop them.

The Ratte is not in the game yet.

I am disappointed. :p

Patch notes for July 25th maintenance.
Balance:
~Mandy’s Wishing Wheel adjusted with new rewards and equalized drop rates (except for the T5 Emblem, which is same jackpot drop rate as before).

Bug Fixes:
~Fix for Over penetration bug
~Fix for AoE Damage hit effect application (crit and pen). Splash damage now makes use of all stat modifiers

QoL Changes:
~You can now replace emblems with the same type of emblem (so it saves the hassle of unequipping it first)
~Tank Reserves are now all sorted by type, tier, level
~Emblems are now sorted by type, tier, level
~Candy gifting slider start at 1 candy instead of 0
~You can now click on a unit’s portrait while scouting to access their journal
~Scouting journal entries are now kept 1 minute behind to accommodate server time difference
~New character art for Panzer IV, Emilia
~Changed S-51’s basic attack explosion effect to be more clear of the blast radius
~Lowered music volume across all music

New Characters Added:
~5-Star, M48 Patton, Angela
~4-Star, M8 Scott, Mila

New H-Scenes:
~M48 Patton, Angela
~FV4005 Stage II, Seren

edit: Hey polisummer, when the maintenance ended, the tanks inside the research lab got changed before the last three days ended.

Also, I just noticed something in the store.

I got curious about prices of the Cores are.. and then looked at 10+1 pull price in cores.
Its 750 cores for a single 10+1 pull. So I went into price and noticed that twenty bucks will only get you one 10+1 pull because it gives you only 1400 cores. It needs to be 1500 Cores just to do two 10+1 pulls easily.

But since nutaku is mean, they removed 100 gold for 1 dollar option it forces us to buy 5 dollars worth of gold just to drop it on the option for 275 or press the 50 cores twice. This means I have to have two purchase lines just to make a single purchase. This is a hassle. :p

Actually.. cheap options for cores, they're all set up to force players to do two buys instead of one buy. I do no like this. Idk why its set up like this.

the new emblem sorting is shit. who asked for this? i didnt.

we want to sort and rearrange our god damn tanks. it's extra aggravation to resend scouts when i have to click through more menus and buttons to find her.

lots of "quality of life" adjustments and none of them fix the shit UI

I'm pretty happy with the changes.

Yes, the UI needs even more improvement to sorting, ability to hide tanks that I'm just collecting when selecting scouts, ability to go to the recycle menu without having to go through the factory first (ie. shortcuts) etc. but they're improving.

I think I have a zombie hiding in my army.

Basically I found out one thing, I took an medium from my main army and had her go out scouting.. she scouted for over 12 hours before getting exploded but the cause of her destruction is unknown. I'm talking about Catherine so that you guys know who.

That happens all the time with my tanks toiling at gulag... err, scouting.

My guess is that the game sometimes omits the last event when the tank dies and scouting stops.

Yikes. I just found out that Sarah the Super Pershing has been carrying my nub ass for the whole time.

I was advancing in the storyline but then my Super Pershing got exploded. Something about facing off level 29 Maus, Jagdtigers, King tigers and some other 5* cheat spam units while my poor Sarah is level 17.

So I decided to grind out the levels only to see that almost my whole team got wiped without something solid to hide behind. The KV-1 was just barely sufficient. My Mutant six is still in repairs.

I suspected but now I know the truth. >.>

my heavies is the M6a1, aka mutant six and KV-1. Both is 3*s. They generally never do well but that's likely because lately the enemies is always higher level than they are.

When mutant six dies, Super pershing is up front. When she goes down, KV-1 is next. If she goes down, all other mediums will die horribly and then everything is downhill unless enemy took enough damage for my remaining tanks to trade shots with and win.

I just keep sending tanks so shit will be in front of my destroyers. As long as they have anything in front of them, even the weakest tanks, they usually clear everything out as long as they don't die.

I think that was how I managed to turn the tide too when I was getting pushed back pretty hard XD meds died for my arties/tds to do the work.

But time will tell how easier the battles become because I"m back to upgrading emblems again.

Even though my Super Pershing has the highest armor, I still send out my best heavy tank (KV-5) to block as first deploy since it has higher HP. It's better to not place your best unit at the forefront to take all the hits.

After playing around a bit on upgrading emblems initially, I have stopped that entirely. After I get the 5th scouting slot (100k cost), then I'll go back to blowing money on upgrades.

Thinking a little bit more about light tanks and balancing, wouldn't it be a lot simpler to just change their movement pattern away from walking ahead in a straight line instead of trying to give them crazy abilities?

And/or making it so tank girls don't just keep standing in one place once they begin to engage the enemy. They wouldn't even have to move all that far; just having them take one or two steps before stopping to fire again would go a long way to keeping them from clumping up into one huge deathball during every stage.

BTW, I noticed on your Himeuta thread that the game goes beyond WWII and into the early Cold War. Is something like the mine-clearing from the late 70s too far out in the timeline to be included as an event vehicle?

Between 1972 and 1980, it is estimated that more than 600 people were killed and thousands more injured by landmines on hundred of kilometres of roads and runways in Rhodesia. The toll would have been much higher but for the invention of Pookie, a small detection vehicle designed to travel ahead of military and civilian convoys and light enough not to detonate anti-tank mines.

Pookie, originally designed and developed by Ernest Konschel, an engineer and farmer from Rhodesia, was constructed on a lightweight chassis and carried a one-person armour-plated cab. The cab had a V-shaped undercarriage designed to deflect any blast away from the driver and to combat centre blast mines. The wheels were positioned some distance from the cab, again to protect the driver in the event of detonation by offsetting the seat of explosion, and they were housed in Formula One racing tires, apparently bought in bulk from the South African Grand Prix. Wide with low pressure, they exert a minimum ground force. The vehicle was propelled by an engine from a Volkswagen Beetle that was capable of taking Pookie to mine detection speeds of up to 60 kilometres per hour. Two drop-arm detectors were mounted left and right and equipped with a detection system that bounced magnetic waves into the ground as well as an acoustic signal to indicate metal.

On first trials, Pookie detected every metallic mine and went on to prove itself both reliable and safe. Even though Pookies did detonate anti-personnel mines and several booby-trapped anti-tank mines in action with the Rhodesian army, this was only at the cost of new wheels and rim replacements, but no serious human casualty.

I admit that the only reason I know about this thing is because of Camo Workshop's Steel Panthers games.

Yes I am aware, there's just not that much difference between both though.

Mutant six has 111 armor while Super pershing got 99. Mutant six has about 1k hp over Super pershing though. So I generally deploy Sarah second unless mutant six exploded in earlier battle and then I lead with Super pershing instead cuz Mutant six's repair time is reaching 2 hours by now.
