Just started, so I'm in obligatory "I don't know what I'm doing" mode.

Is there a downside to evolving your girls before hitting whatever level cap there is on this, like Aigis has?

I don't have any 5s. 6 4s (2 light, 2 water, 1 fire, 1 wind), but no 5s.
5* units are broken as fuck. She is 10 levels below the rest of my party and outclasses them in everything except for agility.. and she has an AoE that hits everything.

If it were just Rita, that might be one thing. But I can't get any girls out of the volcano. Even out of the extra dungeon.

Ok, so found out something awesome just now. If you have a full friends list and are having trouble getting a specific friend to help you during battle, just hit the back tab and then click on the mission again. It will change what friends pop up almost every time. Hope that helps everyone.

Only bad thing about this is that if you haven't used your friend's unit (if they still have +10 prayer), it will continue to bump them up to the top. I tried going back and forward multiple times and still couldn't get the one I wanted.

So I'm thinking area 2 final dungeon works like area 1 and we can see area 3 bosses earlier than we should.
The equipment levels on the drops for this dungeon are really big they average like 50+ and I do have my daily log-in continue ticket but I'm kind of scared of pushing my luck trying to get to floor 40, already got some really high level cloaks lol
I think the 5* are supposed to be really hard to get/really lucky through gacha but at least we'll be getting some 5* in events, if they follow the jp version way.

Agreed mix overall is better but same element is better when you're doing those special stages for fruits, just choose its weakness as your team element.
1st phase last stage usually gives 4-5k exp (keep doing the extra dungeons that pop up)
2nd phase last stage gives you 10k exp

A bunch of us in the chat have been trying to catch various stage girls and we've come to the agreement that the majority of girls, either by intention or by bug, cannot drop from quests in which they appear.
There are some that do drop (ie: Agnes) but many will not drop even after hundreds of runs.

I doubt it's bugged. I'm sure the drop rates are just stupidly low like 2-5%.
I managed to catch 4 girls on the 2nd phase final stage, so if it's bugged then maybe it's only bugged on certain stages like the volcano area.. I saw quite a few people complaining about those.

I'm not sure its just a difference in drop rates. Even between 1*s on the same stage, some drop and others don't. The last stage of Temple is a good example of this: Agnes, Clarisse and Gina will drop somewhat frequently. We've tracked dozens. All the other girls, on the other hand, have had zero recorded drops by anyone. All of them, drop or no drop, are 1*.

and yes Agnes is ridiculous, I've gotten like 10 of her, pretty sure she has the highest drop rate.

Agnes appears 3 times during the stage, so its normal to get her more frequently (including the occasional 3x Agnes drop run). There are 3 other 1* girls who also appear 3 times during the same stage; they have never dropped even once for anyone in the chat.

So this is a random thought, but possibly legit. Upon first seeing Cain in the second area cutscene, my first thought was 'definitely just an out-of-control case of chuuni'. For those who are further: Is this thought at all accurate?

She was tricked by a mysterious merchant into thinking the king attacked a village causing her to rebel. Upon finishing the area and stopping the rebellion, another kingdom attacks yours.
