You can still get absolutely screwed by Medusa if she decides to spam her petrify skill. If you get hit with her rage special with petrify on you, its a probable one-hit kill on a character (did somewhere around 6.9k on one of my characters).

I guess its a matter of killing her as fast as you can, and if you can't, pray she doesn't spam her petrify.

Honestly speaking, your goal should be simply to put her into rage mode with skills, then remove her from it with the burst you should've saved up on the first two waves(Assuming you're doing ultimate).

She can't petrify you while stunned.

Ideally you want to kill her before stun wears off.

well, my problem is that im missing one normal attack round to put her into rage mode, cant do it with skills alone.
guess what she does to my team EVER DAMN FCKING TIME.

Would depend on what you're running to be honest. I can nearly put the boss into rage with just my Gawain+Artemis.

Then again I don't run a healer so I can run 5 dps also.

3k jewels pull got me the new R hime : Inanna. Now I can field a 100% light team :)

Yeah all my rolls so far are pretty crappy. I'm almost tempted to reroll with the free 6k jewels. Almost.

I've had absolutely no luck with this game, I dont have a light affinity unit from the gatcha rolls.... AND i lack any good light weapons to use on her... This really sucks since i cant fight her effectively...

my most recent pull got me a Uranus and a Huanglong so im a pretty happy camper right now

can field a 1SSr/3SR/2R light team as it stands w/ a fully limit broken phoenix

Jesus. I can't do this event. Amon and Phoenix just aren't enough. I've only got 25k power; getting past even the first wave on expert is a dice roll, Yet I get the feeling that totally skipping and event would cause me to fall even further behind

I wonder if I could get what I need by doing standard. Pretty ridiculous, since I can auto that

^ Total power < elemental counter. I'm barely above you with ~26k total, but I lol through anything not ultimate : I have 4 light himes and a max lvl 3 stars SR light weapon .....

Aiming for 1 eidolon and 1 SSR weapon from rewards is easily doable with only standard runs, it'll take you a while but it's not impossibru. Don't waste your time on expert if you can't reliably finish it.

I think my normal strat of double healer is a mistake here, the longer the fight goes the more chance I have of getting stunlocked. I've only got one light hime, too (although a SSR Light weapon). Guess I'm grinding expert until I unlock Arthur through levels ups and can try a dps race strat.

Can someone please tell me which are my priorities?

i too only have one light character.

Also Got medusa already and can buy the SSR weapon already. but want to know what should i focus on.

Full medusa (i wish i know) and SSR Weapon x1

or x1 Medusa and Full weapon

Whatever you want. Neither are priority. The weapon is defender so it's much lower priority than most weapons usually are.

Medusa isn't needed either unless you have plans to run a full dark squad, since most people would rather use something like apocalypse who gives two elements.

I can't remember the last time Medusa do basic attack. She always spam pertify at my team in 1st turn. :mad:

Is there anyway to fight that affliction? Already try Phoenix and Asmund skill but both seem useless. :confused:

I can only kill her if Dazzling get in action or she got paralyzed by my Thor else it's just wasted my precious AP. :(

Use SR Amon's skill. It should prevent the next status cast on your whole team. Either that or bring a cleanse eidolon. Or bring a cleanse character who hopefully won't get petrified.

Does the Soul Ability "Psychiatry" ("Nullifies your Affliction (1)") actually work on petrify, or does it stop you from casting it?

You can't cast anything while petrified. I've never used Psychiatry before though so I have no idea if it's like Amon's where it prevents next debuff or if it's just a cleanse.

Psychiatry works like Amon's skill, but protects only the soul from debuffs.

Do you know how many turns it lasts for? The skill description just says it has a 7 turn cd.
