Is the single attack the enrage special? I normally save my burst combo to force the boss out of enrage so I haven't seen whatever the fully charged enrage skill is.

I think it was. It did 3 000 - 3 500 AoE on everybody. And that's with the defense up skill from Cassiopeia being active.

Hmm I can't say for sure really. Because the regular one did around 1800 or so to me with Nike + Fafnir's defense buff and the boss had - atk from debuff on. I don't know if a regular -atk debuff even affects the special, but I don't think just adding one more defense buff would reduce damage by over 30%.

I don't know know how much the regular one does, since I've only got hit with it during rage. I guess I should avoid that, but considering that even a full bust won't singlehandedly stun her it's not that easy to actually do that.

Weird, boss hurts way more but I already got her+SSR weapon+ticket, and it's not even been a day :/

So like, anyone got any idea what Cybele's Hallucinate does? She puts on some kind of show and then... just chills.

Hallucinate gives her 100% evasion for the duration of the turn. It's typically very RNG because there's no guarantee something will target her for that specific turn, but it works against AoEs as well, and can protect her if she's weak and waiting for a 1 turn heal cooldown.

Typhon begins to show the importance of equipping compatible elemental weapons, as their HP and ATK buffs stack if equipped, so having a lot of good HP up water weapons will keep your water units HP high, or whatever element you are stocking. I also recommend a healing soul and even three healers if you happen to have Brynhildr. Unfortunately my water team is... well, it's Nike and my active Soul unit, so I have to make due with the light team instead. >_>;

Believe it or not, I am using the Rare Minotaur (limit break full) for 20% fire damage reduction. Wow, that seriously helps. Even against her minions I was taking 400 damage less a hit.

Wow, that's a bit of hot garbage for Ultimate. Got close, but one AOE and it was pretty much a wipe even though most of my himes had full health. Stacking elemental advantage (light/water) really didn't help either. Andro + Bryn healing really didn't do much as well, which was surprising. Fafnir helped, not as much as I hoped, but Takemikuzuchi should work slightly better - having a 4/5-hime burst on standby looks key here, so recharge rate might be worth stacking.

It's pretty safe to say that stacking SSR weapons + elodions for rewards was better than going for grimoires. I don't have enough to go 4-star on one SSR hime due to the ramp-up of grimoire cost, but the added bonuses from L55/70 elodions and weapons really helps.

Most of this fight is timing. You can't just go head first. Saving attacks goes a long way. I am massively lucky to have both Unleashed Amon and Belphagor. Both have stun extending abilities, so once I stun her, I keep her stunned for 3 - 4 rounds. I'm only using Nike for healing and whatever pots I get. I have had no deaths since the first fight, where I switched to a fire damage reduction Edilion. Go all out on the first group of minions. By the time you need your abilities, they will be recharged by then. This will save you some health.

Anyone else finding it weird when she casts her cleanse without having any debuffs on her ...... ? Good job girl, you just wasted a turn removing nothing and not damaging me. :cool:

She did that on one of my runs at least three times in succession. This is just my theory, but she may be programmed to recognize the Snatch count as a debuff, so she'll try to cleanse it to no avail. Dunno if she uses it in the absence of those, though, so this is just my guess.

^ I don't run Snatch and she cleanses empty air plenty of times.

anyone else getting a ton of shell of scorching heats? i currently have 45 and 19 wings of hellish flames. I've bought 1 gatcha ticket and that uses more scorching heats lol but literally every bronze chest i get contains scorching heats lol its crazy.

Also im finding that even if i time things correctly (burst time with 3 water kamihimes/ water soul with beelzebub and a lv 68 ares about 3 quarters of the way through rage to make sure it dies AND nikes def boost up just before rage is entered as well as a water dragons buff (water atk up/ fire def up)) 4 or 5/6 party members are ko'd from full health. Usually my soul survives somehow. Admitted i have 3 R water weps which is the best i can do right now because i wasnt expecting my anus to be ripped asunder. But i dont see how this would make that much of a difference considering im getting hit for 3k's though all that :D this is the expert one im talking about fyi im too scared for ultimate. At least until i get my fourth water kamihime to a decent lv :p or something changes

^ Rage 4 dots does ~3500, normal 4 dots does 1500-ish ...... Add a few buff/debuff and you can laugh off the normal pretty easily. On expert. Ultimate does over 4k.
