Go to map in chap 7 , Gold chest appear , very2 happy
When it opens it say new recipe , but it's not the one that drop from that map. Instead it is a low tier
So it probably work like this , If You did not get the previous tier
It will drop the low tier instead

ye there are few recipes that can drop on few chapters. Like plat mail that drops on both 6-2 and 7-2.

for daily class quest. does doing a higher difficulty increase chance of dropping the hammer? today has a combo i just can't pass up, fighter and warrior hammers. if not, ill just spam beginner.

I believe it doesn't matter. Hammers are rare (golden chest) drops. And Gold chests have a 10 percent chance to drop in all quests I've heard.
Unless of course they become a more common drop in much harder difficulties.

ah, 10% total chance for that run or 10% per section of a run? since i believe class quest have 3 segments that means each one has 10% or each one has 3.33%?

For any gem that sold for 3,000G the usual 3-5... cuz it also have high exp / bread ratio
If you able to hit part 2 story Topaz / turquise drop greatly on 2-1-3
Reminder that if you choose red path.... treasure chest will 100% drop onward till end of stage

Probably for each segment, though I'm not sure since I've very rarely seen two golden chests drop in the same quest. Which was once.

ran it over 10 times on beginner and no hammer drops. i'm thinking i have bad luck or beginner is below 10%.
