I'm thinking you are right.. either the competition died down a lot or not many others got boosters. I'm still 20th and it has been almost 2 days. I wish I would have stopped way back at like 600-700k now, what a waste, I overestimated how many others got boosters by a long shot it seems. I kept alternating between 10-15th is what gave me the idea others had them to begin with.

Based on some estimates on other boards, the game lost about half of its players so that's the reason for the easier rankings.

It's good for those who stayed, but if it leads to the game being canned, everyone loses. There's a fine balance there.

I plan to quit this game after this event, maybe turn up now and then for lulz, but nothing serious and deffo no more money spent on it.

Edit: mainly because it's such a time hog, if they had a button to clear all my stam in one shot, maybe I would carry on, but for now it's way too much effort for very little in entertainment value. The area rare SLs are nigh impossible to turn up, and unless you are supremely lucky, you need to pop a $3 monster ball on it (it was always slightly too expensive for my tastes, but with the dismal rare appearance, you get fooled into thinking it's 'worth it' when it's not)

I'm not hard up for SLs that I'd play the paid gatchas...not especially since 3 of the gold rolls (which are the only ones worth playing) is the same price as buying a PS4 or XBOX.

These coupled by lousy customer service and disgusting money grabs, my desire to play this game has finally plummeted below the needed threshold to put any effort into it. :p

Some people may have quit, but I'd say it's more like 5% than 50. It's the first event I'll have finished outside of top 500 (stopped doing it yesterday and it seems at this rate even my top 1000 position may be endangered) so it's clearly not any easier for people without EP boosters, if not harder. Maybe it's different at higher ranks but the competition for top 500 is as fierce as always.

Yeah, I suspect I'll need to use 4+ drinks to bump myself up to top 500 before the day is done.

Kanpani contest is the main reason for me falling behind, though this week's Aigis event being one I actually want to perfect certainly didn't help matters.

How do you guys manage to get such big combo values?, Even in advance stages i could not get past 80 combo even without missing a hit.

Welp, fail to reach top 500 because thanks to the damn RNG system, more than 25 ticket spent but not a single EP boosters.
Even i spend more than 480 stamina each day, i still cant reach to top 500 :mad:

I'm just under 700k and I'm at 150-ish, so it's probably good you kept on for a while.

You need to make a combo team. At least, that is how I do it. Keep them fairly low level, use SRs and SSRs that heal. Hi-Heal is great. Tailor it with the proper color and be sure to have some healing gummies, maybe an ATK down or DEF up gummy as well. Then, I do the 15 stamina stage. Doing all this usually gets me a combo in the 140-150 range, which has been good enough the last few events. Good luck!

I call an empty talk about those people quitting. I've got exact same 80% booster as previous first-half event and my rank is floating around 50~80 lower compared to before. Saying that there's more people got booster this time would be a possibility, but wouldn't be the case if they are indeed fewer people. Lots of people quitting, not a chance. Small amount quitting, it's clearly possible.

I just don't get it, I'm seeing the opposite. I'm ranked WAY higher than I've ever been with pretty much the same boosters I've gotten in the past. Additionally, I even had a situation this week with my son in the hospital and did not even play for a period. I guess perhaps it is more cutthroat in the 400-700 range, but I've been top 100 this event which has never happened.

It's all about EP boosters.
With them you stay top 100 very easily.

Well, in the past three events, I've had a 50% EP boost and finished around 400. This event, I had a 40% EP boost and was sitting at 180 until I found another booster and went top 100 shortly after.

Comparing my 40% EP boost this event to my 50% in past events, I was over 200 spots higher, and it was easy to maintain that ranking. I'm not saying I guarantee people have left, but I am definitely not seeing the challenge to stay in the top 500 others have seen this event. Past events, yes, but not really this one. Also, if you are close to 500, I'd assume it would be worth a stamina pot or two, since they cost $1 and you get an eromon for finishing higher than 500. $1 for an eromon seems a good price (in relation to the other pricing).

Unbelievable. Does EVERYONE in the top 700 have an EP booster? I'm doing 3x mode and going up a whopping 10 places instead of 50-100 places like last time.

Ugh. 20 mins left and 640th place. I have to drop out of this one. Shit.

Assuming I was a good 20k or so EP away from the cutoff (was at 430k, so at least 450k cutoff), I'm guessing this event wasn't so much about the competition getting fiercer as opposed to the competition getting wider.

Game shafted me and gave me no booster for the entirety of the event. Fortune changes make the game less free player appealing, and now my timer ended up being 6 hours off again screwing me even more. First time outside of 500. Irritating. Think my time may be better spent elsewhere...
