[Nutaku] Osawari Island

Re: [Nutaku] Osawari Island

So, bit the bullet and became a whale I guess... Have not spent much on this game, other than a monster gem pack back in October. But, I really wanted ONE more storage bin, as I believe I can organize my stuff with 100 slots. Getting clustered as fuck.

Anyways, 25 spin gatcha, got TWO SLs... kind of want to cry a little. Lots of SSRs I guess. Hrmm, a third of a PS4 for a few digital eromon, I really should re-evaluate my spending choices :p

On an aside, I guess they did get some of my money, but the pricing in this game still bugs the shit out of me. It has ensured I won't play another Nutaku game, and will continue to spend vary sparingly. Doubt I'll ever do the paid gatcha again, maybe a gem pack in a few months or something. Overall, if they were just a bit smarter, they'd have customers spending a reasonable amount and NOT regretting it afterwards. Wouldn't that be something...

It's not really nutaku, but the game devs that make the pricing so stupid. And we've had actual economists and corporate pricing officers (working for real companies, selling real products with real value.) come and offer advice on pricing and do price point analysis for them, on several boards, not just this one... FOR FREE. (heck you couldn't hire some of these guys to do it for you for love or money)

And they don't bother listening so don't try reasoning with them, they are clearly cleverer than these guys who are paid hundreds of thousands of dollars annually to do pricing for a living. :)

As someone who's been playing "free to play" MMOs for a LONG time, this kind of pricing is normal compared to a lot of games I've played.

I remember years ago, when I played Conquer Online and they first introduced Dragon balls. This was back in like 2003-2004, and even then, I knew people who were spending thousands of $$$ just to have the best equipment there.

As long as there's a small amount of people who spend a large amount of money on these games, prices aren't going to change.

Re: [Nutaku] Osawari Island

ahh don't tell them that lol, I've been hoarding since the beginning.

Just to note, It is probably only worth hoarding until you can get 5000 love points in a day. The daily mission based on love points gives you a R tickets at 3000 and a HR ticket at 5000. So, I would suggest saving chocolate items until you have enough to complete the daily mission and get a few free tickets.

It won't change at this point, but some day, a company will create one of these games and offer reasonable pricing. When that happens, the others will follow suit as there is FAR more money to be earned with cheaper products reaching a wider audience. Aiming for a small amount of people to spend a large amount is a terrible business model.

There is a reason Walmart is so dominant, and it is not because they have high priced goods aimed at a small, rich populace. You've already seen this transition in most non-adult games.

The problem here is, it will always be a smaller audience compared to regular games because of the 18+ restriction.

On the plus side, that means everyone playing SHOULD BE ABLE to pay $$$ if they find the price reasonable enough.

Eh well, I wonder about 'small audience' given that they just celebrated their '1 million user' achievement by insulting and making a disgusting money grab event (which I'm surprised hasn't been taken down yet).

Pretty sure 1 million includes people who logged on once and never came back, as well as alt referral accounts.

Ok, so I just started playing this game (on 2nd day) and did the first story for all the event girls. When I click on make chocolate, nothing happens and in fact the zodiac girls screen pretty much stops any clicking from happening. Any ideas? I"m running on Chrome

Dang it. That's kinda harsh for a "daily mission". You gotta grind for days to accumulate enough.

That or spend lotsa money to grab lotsa ingredient boosters and stamina potions... Oh... I see...

I imagine it is the same for most of us, as i read a lot of comments that when you click one button in event page the other one stops responding.

Re: [Nutaku] Osawari Island

So hows the combo and damage work in this event? The boss and and her minion is too weak and died too fast even with my weakest eromon

I don't know how strong they get, but as you give chocolates to the girl, you unlock new levels with her at certain stages. So you might get more hits off if you get to the maxed stage.

Alternatively, make a party of 1 eromon and hope it can get enough hits off to use a skill on the boss.

Re: [Nutaku] Osawari Island

Wanted to boost my chocolate multiplier but didn't want to throw 100USD into the wind.
Having never done the rank up gatcha and seeing the first spin is 1USD I decided to try that out.

And what a disappointment... Ended up ranking up all the way til the end and got an HR that can only reach SSR. 21USD down the drain and no chocolate booster. The thing that makes it a bit disappointing is how I have the character in my dmm account, which will later on get added to the normal R,HR ticket gatcha.

The gatcha goes from R or above, HR or above, HR or above 2x, HR or above 4x, garanteed SSR-SL.

I think unless you want to spend lots of money in this game the best bang for your buck is the 11monster gem with free usd banana. Lets you get 11 eromon of choice and the will eventually even if you don't buy monster gems, you have an overwhelming amount of eromon that you might be tempted to pull a 100USD gatcha just for the sake of getting 200GP to increase your inventory.

Re: [Nutaku] Osawari Island

Most of us could've told you that rank-up gacha is a ripoff. I've maxed rank twice and got Aoba (SSR) and Ouhi/Kisaki (SL), and I'm fairly certain that the second time was a fluke of a win.

$30 roll has better rates for an SL, at least. I've gotten Rachel from it once.

You're making me feel bad for pulling 3 Rachels from regular Ticket gacha now.

On a side note, already 100 days since game launched. Time sure flies.

Yea, avoid the rank-up gatcha like the plague. Fucking terrible unless you get flukish lucky. You're far better off doing the $30 one, or the $100 is the best bet (even if priced stupid). I told myself I'd give this game one $100 pull, and this event seemed like a good time. But, for my $100, as I said above, got 2 SLs and a few SSRs, which I consider VERY unlucky. I did get my 2nd lemon though, so at least I have two EP boosters. Got the other from 18 R tickets, 16 HR, and 2 SSR.

I agree that the monster gem pack is the only really "reasonable" item. Well, I guess $1 stamina pots are not terrible. But, the gold points come in handy for at least getting a 2nd storage bin.

Sorry to hear you got unlucky on the rank-up though. I'm sure that sucks.

Re: [Nutaku] Osawari Island

Can someone help me understand this current event? Whats the point of ranking in the top 200 for an idol if you get them as EP rewards?

The EP rewards go up to SR only.
The Rank rewards go to SSR or SL.

Re: [Nutaku] Osawari Island

^Ah I see, thank you kind sir. I thought their rarity would just get bumped up after the event based on votes. Is it just first place that gets SL?

No, I think those are already defined. You can see their final ranks in the event tab, right underneath the game window.
