Imo the shards event is a straight downgrade from Coliseum. Unless they significantly overhaul the trading post, we miss out on a ton of rGachas/wilds/exp. Slayers go from being almost completely ignorable to almost mandatory (again, pending changes), which makes a free player unable to save those eGachas for something that was previously harder to do without slayers like Gambit. And it requires that you check back way more often than Coli did to spend your focus, or you're at significant risk of not being able to get all the cards, especially if you don't get lucky with slayers.

The only real gripe with Coli is that slayers exist, but that didn't even really affect anything except you lost a couple focus every once in a while when you found someone that actually bought them (and then put them on a list to ignore in the future).

I'm personally hoping that this is the last we see of it for a while. Or that this version is more friendly to everyone.

The problem with the Shards event is that the last one was to short. If it were 1-2 weeks long like the other events then you wouldn't be complaining about it. Hopefully the event lasts at least a week this time.

Yes, IF they make adjustments to it (50/50) then a duration increase would alleviate some of the problems. I personally would still rather have a ton of rGachas/wilds from Coli over a few extra card reveals or EX wilds, so it still would be a downgrade for me.

imo all they need to do is make it normal event length and put R gacha tickets as a shard dump reward, I would be ok with it then.

How many kills you needed in DP to get both girls? I thought i was safe but only got Vorvados...

Hmm odd, I got both of them, but I thought they'd be maxed for 100 kills. Maybe I misread it?

Edit: Guess not since I got more of them in my presents so they're both 100 now.

Both of mine are 71, pretty sure I only managed to kill like 15 in the end. Maybe they took Valefor into account to? Whatever it was thanks Nutaku

Incorrect. Since it's a SHARD event rather than a regular Coli, it's less friendly to ANYONE who doesn't have at least a slayer or 2. Basically what we found out with the previous shard event, you get like 1 shard per win. +1 from the N slayer, so 2 per win. Unless you have other slayers, you're going to have to be online a LOT to have a chance at getting the cards.

The good news however, you get the same amount of points regardless of your opponent. So as long as you can win vs the weakest opponents, you'll get as many shards as anyone else, who has the same amount of slayers as you. Also, since this event is focus only, your activity will determine how well you do.

Keep in mind, this assumes no changes were made to the event.

Nutaku mentioned on Discord that they accidentally sent more rewards out and to enjoy them. So people who didn't kill as many Junos lucked out.

Yeap i got 10 kills and got them both at level 71.
Now that was a nice reward for the time i spend

It really depends on if they decide to run this shard event for the normal two week period or if they plan to do like last time and cheat us out of a few days for no reason. If they run it for two weeks you should be able to get everything even missing weekends, if not...Yeah just get the one you want and cut your losses.

I'm mostly curious at what they did if anything to handle the problem of people just smacking around people in tier 5, I don't mind being able to auto win every fight in tier 5 but there should be some benefit to hitting people in tier 1.

I've just reached lvl 50 and I have to ask: what the hell is the point of Ex cards? Considering how hard is it to get them, that +3 SED power per Ex levels seems downright pathetic. Am I missing something here?

It's pretty useless yeah lol, it adds a slight advantage in pero coli event if you're facing the same card that doesn't have ex + on it I guess.

Ex wild cards were SUPPOSED to give you an edge in Coli, in JP pero they don't have slayers in Coli so the small extra SED on your SR cards gave you a small edge on people who ran the same card, if your card has say 12003 sed while his has 12000 you win the fight.

That being said slayers in Coli (which are a unique system to us because fuck Nutaku) completely make EX wild cards 100% useless as even an ex +20 card will lose to a slayer deck even with type advantage. The only value they have now is food for the rat as they give...I think 1400? Each

Technically, you'd win the fight if it was 12000 vs 12000 as long as you were the attacker.

Damn good thing you said something or I would've forgotten to log on to check for the event.

On a side note, just noticed Vorvados is stronger than Kanae.

Also seems that the previous shards event cards are available in this one. They seem to be a bit cheaper than before too.
