Re: (Nutaku) PeroPero Seduction
Yeah.. to go into detail of how Coli works, like I said, you build a hand of 5 cards that you arrange in specific positions: Center, right and left front, right and left rear. In a matchup, your cards face off against your opponent's cards 1-on-1 in the same position. However, the cards have a rock-paper-scissors relationship based on type (sexy trumps babe, babe trumps moe, moe trumps sexy). If a card wins a type matchup, its SED triples. Whomever gets at least 3 victories in the match wins the match, however, each side gets one mulligan, where their first card to lose gets replaced by a random friend's Center card and goes again.
...there are, however, slayer cards, which from the 2nd to most recent Coliseum (but not the Shard event, which is very similar to Coliseum) multiplies the SED of your -entire- hand if they are included in the hand. The community is pretty much universally against this, and this is something the DMM version doesn't do, so given that the recent Shard event didn't do it, we'll see if it changes going forward.
There are also tiers, in which you can somewhat choose the strength of your opponent. Tiers are based on their total SED. I forget what the exact tier brackets are, but they haven't changed since launch, so pretty much ALL of the PPS regulars are in Tier 1, and Tier 5 are basically people who just logged in once, built a deck and left. You get 5 coli tickets for defeating a tier 1 opponent and 1 for defeating a tier 5.. Each Coli gacha spin costs 5 tickets. Winning, however, is more important than tickets, since there is a reward list based on how many consecutive wins you have, regardless of tier, that goes right back to 0 the moment you lose. In addition to this, ranking is based on points. You get 3 points for an offensive win, (again, regardless of tier) 1 point for a defensive win (defensive wins also give you 3 coli tickets, regardless of who attacked you).
Jesus, someone with 5 level 100 SR's is still considered a newbie?
