My least favorite event.
You have to lucky with the egacha draw, and then perhaps you can get enough shards to get cards. Having previous rewards available to buy is just making it worse since if you weren't able to get them before now you're stuck trying to enough shards for current cards + previous cards.
I noticed that with each shard run the amount of shards needed to get all cards is increasing:
The previous 2 were 2000 (1000 + 500 + 500) and 1800 (1000 + 500 + 300). The current one is 2300 (1000 + 500 + 500 + 300).

You're a little off. The current set is 2100 (1000 + 500 + 500 + 100), the cost for last set's cards are 1600 (1000 + 300 + 300).

Right now, I have like 124 shards and it's been what 2 or 3 days? I just feel worthless compared to the last event. I ranked in somewhere around 1200 overall for the last event and I started like 3 days into the event. Had I been an active player above 30 before that event, I feel like I could have ranked in the top 1000 rather easily. Shards makes me hate myself.

The shard events are nothing more then quick cash grabs by jewtaku honestly. There was absolutely nothing wrong with Coliseum yet they removed it for the shard events.
It was even SUPER apparent after the first shard event no one liked them yet here we are on number 4 with Coliseum nowhere in sight, the sad part is even if we did get back Coli I fear at this point it will be so changed it will be a shell of it's former self. It's only a matter of time before they start to chop up SEG because much like Coli you don't NEED slayers for that outside the normal ones. The sad thing is I actually value shard events more due to the fact I get a 3-5 day break from Pero, there is no point in trying as you physically CANNOT get the cards without all the slayers.
I really just want Coli back and for Nutaku to stop trying to baby these shard events so hard, we get it, it's "your" special English pero only event. If you polish a turd it's still a turd.

True, but you usually have SR slayer and N slayer for free and then it's possible.

I actually did get all of the girls from the first two shard events, number three is where I screwed up massively by only having the N Slayer and I'm going to do fairly well this event. I have one more girl from the last Shard event before I start on getting the Girls from this event, though I already went ahead and got the N girl as she's so damn cheap already.

N slayer is always in N gacha. SR is from ranking top 1000 of previous event usually. Sometimes they don't make the SR a slayer though.

It's possible when they decide to give out a SR slayer yeah, it turns from impossible to gambit levels of effort to get them but it is possible.

I'm inclined to agree, I would rather go back to event restore items that lasted the whole event over these terrible 24 hour event items.

Maybe they got angry when I was using like 100+ event restores for Kurito instead of events so they switched it to 24 hours.

The same thing as 1 day restores, except they lasted until the next event starts.
