(Nutaku) PeroPero Seduction

Re: (Nutaku) PeroPero Seduction

So anyway, now that we finally have the collection thing open in extras, does anyone know if on dmm all the cards are normally unattainable for free players without incredible luck?

Or is it another Nutaku exclusive "feature"?

We skipped the candy mini event where we would have gotten the cards for free with a bit of effort. Collection is just for after that event where you can interact with the girls the same way you did in the event, though you'd start at zero even if you cleared it during the event. Except you can max them on DMM without the card but can't here.

Pretty bad anniversary all things considered.

Re: (Nutaku) PeroPero Seduction

Well I got Kasumi from the Revival Gacha, which is pretty much the only card I wanted, so I guess I'm good.

On a side note, I'm not really seeing the point of this collection thing. Talking to them doesn't seem to do anything and giving them 600 candies didn't really seem to do anything but give me another non-h scene. Not that I actually watch any of the other h-scenes.

That's really all it is as far as I know. Probably why DMM doesn't even require you to have the card to talk to them.

Re: (Nutaku) PeroPero Seduction

This collection thing isn't time limited, right? It doesn't look like it, but you never know, so I thought I'd ask.

Re: (Nutaku) PeroPero Seduction

Actually Shards seems to be a low effort event for them, so it makes sense that they would use it a lot. Putting Shards in between every Gambit and EG makes them have more time to work on the Gambit and EG events.

Even if that was true (which I don't think it is), it'd be much more preferable to have no event rather than more of these shitty shards events. All they're managing to do right now is push players away. I've been noticing more and more high (paying) players quitting as these events become more prevalent and I have also found myself playing less and less without intending it because these events are such hot garbage.

More and more high level people are quitting because of the direction the game has taken, and more and more people are going to quit the farther it goes down this road, which is obviously only bad for the game in the long run.

Pretty much this, if Nutaku came out public tomorrow saying "we get it we fucked up, we understand" I'd probably be interested enough to maybe go back. But as it stands I refuse to even play PPS.

It went from a fairly entertaining "gotta collect as many as I can" game to "I guess Nutaku needs more money to fuel their storefront now". It's a damn shame. PPS is the only game they have I've stuck with for any real period of time, hell I played PPS since it's launch. It's a shame at this rate I feel PPS will be shutting down like LoV did in a few months.

Are there any good alternatives that aren't with Nutaku? I enjoy PPS simply because I like seeing all the different stages of the cards.

Technically there's the DMM version, but that's not in English.

I keep hoping another company pops up eventually to provide competition for Nutaku. As it stands they can get away with almost anything because "lol what choice do you have".

Kay justin, we leave starting the new company to you. We believe in you!

I'm still waiting for Monster Monpiece to come to steam. They made an announcement a year ago that they were bringing the uncensored version there.

The issue with that is that 90% of the problem with PPS and other games -isn't- Nutaku's fault. Nearly every design/gameplay/event decision is done by PPS' devs.

It's really hard to say. Afaik Nutaku has never come out and said where their influence on PPS ends and the devs' begins. I'd like to think it's more on the devs, because I'd hate to see other games that we know Nutaku has a ton of control in (FKG for example) go the way of PPS.

I really want to believe that, but to be honest I don't.

Nutaku has never came out and plainly said where the devs and their influence starts. I honestly find it hard to believe the devs who have a fairly successful game in Japan would pull a complete 180 in our version and completely shit on almost everything that made the game popular in Japan.

Yeah cultural differences exist but even a blind man could see this is all being fueled to get more money. Who knows maybe the devs only view our version as a cash cow, and with how much people throw money at it, they might be right.

The devs are doing it cause we're "Stupid Gaijin". They're gouging us for money, cause we aren't Japanese. I'm not giving them the satisfaction just by not paying any money.

The sad reality is you are probably right.
