[Nutaku] Taimanin Asagi: Battle Arena


Guess I'll join in. Completely F2P and have 11 tickets in the hole. Pretty sure I only used 1 and it ended up being my first Soga.

Had an idea to make a deck solely for advancement battles.

Basically what you see is the best I got outside of Tia from the event.


Wondering if I should continue spamming pots to get me in the 351 ~ 700 range. Might do it.

maybe if you're about to level up and don't have a raid boss, then i'd do arena weekly. otherwise, all bp should be going to red oni and speed demon.

Some good F2P decks there.

When I have done the event fever time has only once not given me more stamina pots back than I put into it. So what I am doing is 2-5 while I have BP, and once I have used all my BP up on bosses I go back to the event. No idea if that is the best way of doing it but I can keep my potions up fairly well doing this. And selling all the N cards from fever time has given me tons of gold.
 
^ Glad to hear you say that, it gets the job done for raids (if they want to play nice and proc) but trying to get into rank 5 is bringing a small emu car into a truck destruction derby.
All my losses were because of advancement battles >.>

I figure I can get my potions back as long as I put a limit on myself. Especially on the full and half potions. I really don't have to do anymore since I originally wanted the two copies of the Taimanin girl (don't know what she does, but it'd be amazing if she was a defense card). Figured I go a bit farther and get 7 tickets. May not go as hard on the next event though lol.
 
she is a defense card, that's confirmed. we just don't know how she procs her skill.
 
I made a good choice then. I have more and somewhat better taimanin defense cards than the other two factions while I have basically no attack orientated taimanin cards (I don't really count Lightning Bolt since she buffs all factions). Just going to stuff if the opponent has cards that cut Taimanin defense lol.
 
just killed my first lvl 50 speed demon (would have been much earlier but we all know what happened)

no more pots past the 4X mvp that start at lvl 30 i think.
 
Decided to throw 5 bucks at the game and get the daily single pull discounts. Just got me a 6* Asuka Kokawa on the 4th day. I'm very pleased by this.
 
very nice, best flat defense booster. put that in your lead to help secure your spot in the arena when you go to sleep.
 
Awesome. I did consider doing the same for a while but the appalling results from all the free premium tickets I got and the very low draw rates have put me off spending anything for now. The premium gatcha seems too unlikely to get anything good and the £60 package is more than I'd want to spend.

Alright lesson learned. Complain on forums if you want anything good from gacha. With the stage 90 event premium ticket just drew the 4* Ingrid who has the perfect skill for my attack demon deck. Going to go spend £5 now :p

Quick questions, are the HR+/SR+ guaranteed tickets affected by the current rate up cards? Should I use the HR+ guaranteed ticket I got from the arena immediately or wait until there's a better banner?
 
Out of 12 battles, my defense deck didn't trigger more than 3 skills, which happened once, while my opponents had 3 triggers as the lowest, and that only happened twice.

Guess I'm staying in rank 3, the game really doesn't want me to get higher.
 
So when are midterm ranking rewards given ? I'd really like having the tickets now.
 
I think it's the 8th. Not really midway through but that's what it says is the counted period.
 
I just now noticed that it looks like they have fixed the weekly quests that require you to kill raid bosses. I'm getting credit for just being MVP on other people's bosses now.
 
That's good. I only ever see the crappy bosses though.

EDIT: Lvl 5 Speed Demon weekly rewards 5 photo of Murasaki, no idea what they do and it takes me 5-6 BP to kill 1 now. Got MVP on it and shared but didn't get any credit for the weekly. Going to give up on that weekly I think.

damn, that's good. apparently photo's of murasaki will be used "as gatcha tickets". they will have a gatcha in the future that uses photo's as the currency.
 
Oh really? Didn't know they were for a gatcha. Does that mean they are worth spending so much BP on?
