Clarification, when using a shield to shove off a violation attempt, it blocks a failed roll, and you don't need to roll again. It's counted as protecting you from violation.

So we don't get to go out and check on our own, like we planned to? I mean, the whole rest thing was because of staying up for most of the night, and the plan was to go and hit their place again during the day.

Yeah, except Ranger and I talked about getting maybe like two-three hours of rest to refresh ourselves - mostly fluff stuff - and head out during midday. Not essentially lose the whole day.

If everyone left without resting, I'd give you all an instance of Exhaustion, and no, a short rest isn't enough.

Okay, good. I'd hate to have wasted those hours combing gelbooru and dA for a character portrait. Probably within the day, then.

Best tread lightly. RJ is very fickle when it comes to his character portraits. I should know. I actually changed mine just so he knew what was underneath all the armor.

(this game clearly requires a great old one and I am terribly disappointed no one has induced one yet)

Hm. One thing of note regarding our drow warlock, the rest of the party is level 2 now, right? Shouldn't she get bumped up too to avoid lagging behind?
